Every single thing....amazing, for us, worthy of a 5*! We stayed for one night on Thursday 8th August as a party of 7 (rooms 144, 145, 146). On arrival, the reception staff were professional friendly and gave us a warm welcome-nothing was too much effort. We were so grateful for the earlier check-in, the ease of the valet parking and the welcome fruit....we really could not have felt more spoilt. Our rooms were superb-so clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The light show in the shower was a wonderful and extravagant touch! The view.....well, nothing could prepare us for how lucky we were to not only have a garden view, but also that of Etna! The location of the hotel is the best we could have hoped, everything was within walking distance, just the best experience in a perfect hotel, a gorgeous little garden too. We arranged drinks at the Sky Bar for 7pm prior to our arrival...it was magical! The view, the drinks themselves, the cicetti, all with the best rooftop bar view in Taormina! The beds were very comfortable, the air-conditioning was perfectly set....we all slept very well. Finally, the breakfast-again one of the best we have ever had at a hotel....and the price was excellent value. Checkout was so easy, our car brought back to us from the valet too. We can not thank the staff at Hotel Continental enough, and we will be back at some point for sure! Grazie mille

The hotel was centrally located and convenient for going to the main part of town to access bars and restaurants. There were pleasant gardens and good views, and a comfortable lounge/bar area The reception staff were very helpful, We didn't have breakfast included but we could have done for an extra €10 each

Our room was by the bar & the cleaner's cupboard so there was noise in the evening and in the morning The bathroom was a bit tiny and you could not stand in front of the sink as the shower cubicle was in the way. The traffic & narrow streets made getting to the hotel a bit dicey!

The location was perfect, with easy access to Corso Umberto for shopping and restaurants. The staff was incredible, especially when we arrived a bit harried. We were greeted with smiles, reassuring assistance, fresh fruit in the room, and Prosecco. This made all the stress of a challenging arrival to Sicily melt away. Dinner restaurant recommendations to places we would not have found on our own provided us the best meals and service we encountered.

Warm and kind behaviour upon the check in with a lovely lady from reception is giving you a vacation mood in a second, following the breathtaking terrace - is a goal. Just in the center of an old town, surrounded by thousand bars, restaurants and view points. Sunset aperetive on the terrace is must! We stayed in renovated room so is was just as you expect it, even with a slippers inside! Breakfast is amazing, if you stay in April or may try authentic nespola fruit - blows away! Guess almost all of the rooms has an etna view)

There is no sound isolation in the rooms, so if you will have noisy French neighbour there is nothing you can do))

Excellent location - very close to the walking street and to Porta Modica. Clean room, comfy bed and very supportive staff. Excellent view towards the city, the sea and Etna. The breakfast costs additional 10 euro per person, and I strongly recommend to get it, as abundant and wonderful. Additional bonus if you have good weather and get your breakfast at the roof-top terrace.

Bath towels seem a bit small compared to similar hotels from our visit. When outside there’s a party, I room is a bit loud.

Beautiful partial view and grounds. Excellent customer service. Sabina was exceptional! Very welcoming and accommodating property. Breakfast was lovely! Lots of variety. Close to shopping and restaurants! Excellent location!

Location of our room a bit odd and noisy with deliveries late in evening sometimes. We were on main floor and only 2 rooms located there. Very tiny room and bathroom but yes, I would stay again if a different room and floor. Good location for getting to shops and restaurants.

The best healthy breakfast we had in Italy by far. Admittedly it was also the only healthy breakfast we had in Italy, but it made us happy. Stunning views from the breakfast room and terrace. Nice rooms. Great location for visiting the main tourist areas. Very helpful staff.

Parking cost twenty euros per day. In fairness I should point out that the payment for two nights, covering three days, was forty euros and we could have stayed up until 6pm on the day we left. You park outside the front door for the drop off and the car is then taken away to the car park. Shower cubicle was small, but not quite small enough to be comical.

Excellent location and not too difficult to find if arriving by car. Sea views somewhat obscured by a large tree but our room worked and the terrace was spacious.

My only caution is that if your car is looked after by the valet parking, it takes longer than the hotel sometimes suggest to retrieve it. When you get to Toamina you will understand why, but if they say 10 mins, allow at least 20 and probably 30 to be on the safe side. That said, when we were late for a boat trip which was partly our fault for cutting it fine, the staff very helpfully phoned ahead to let our hosts know who said they would wait for us. In genera the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is quite nice and seems to have been recently refurbished. The location is at the entrance of Taormina and is perfectly located to explore the city and surroundings. It has a very nice rooftop terrace with sea and volcano view. People cleaning the rooms were very friendly.

Jut some minor issues regarding service: first impressions were great, upon checkin we were kindly greeted and asked we wanted a complementary bottle of water when we arrived, but it was at the end charged to the room (just 1.5 euro though...so not an issue, but weird). We were also invited to send question regarding tours to mount Etna to a WhatsApp number, so we did, twice, and never got a reply.

The hotel is placed in the city center, yet it is a quiet location. You may reach the central piazza in 2 minutes. We had a large room and terrace, with a lovely view over the main square and a glimpse of Etna. Very well trained staff, nice and polite at every interaction. Valet parking is available and it helps a lot in Taormina. Has a sky bar with various cocktails, wines etc

The terrace was large enough to accommodate 2 sun beds or maybe outdoor armchairs. The view is so nice, you could enjoy a few hours having a drink there.
