The hotel is very near the shore and has a very romantic vibe. The staff is very nice and helpful. Our room was simple, but clean, had a nice balcony and a view to the sea. The breakfast was okay, but the coffe is truly exceptional. I would also recommend the restaurant of the hotel, since it is not too expensive (compared to Sicily) but very good in my opinion. In summary, I would recommend the hotel, we had a very good time here.

Everday at dawn there was almost unbearable noise coming from under our balcony. Probably the other hotel in front of ours. Glass breaking, trucks coming in etc. We woke up every night to this, it was very frustrating. Also, the parking space is not for beginners: hard but not impossible to manouver.

Excellent location, a 2 minute walk from the bottom of the cable car into main centre of Taormina and also a 2 minute walk to stairs to the beach. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to enjoy the view of the water. Staff were excellent, very helpful and good recommendations. Our room was ideal for what we wanted, fridge was a bonus. Car park was a life saver, we pre booked and it would have been a nightmare if we were staying somewhere without a car park as the parking garages are quite a walk. Breakfast terrace was the highlight of our stay, good food and coffee with amazing view. Would stay again without a doubt.

Everything. We loved our too-short stay at Hotel Villino Gallodoro. The scenery is spectacular and very romantic. The restaurant pizza and pasta era delizioso! The staff were amazing. Dalila and the other female front of house in particular. Very accommodating and so friendly. The rooms were stylish, comfortable and of course, clean with stunning views and all the facilities we needed, with just an extemely short walk to Isola bella beach and the cable car to town. If (probably when) we come back to Taormina, we would happily book Villina Gallodoro again. Just...bellissimo. Grazie Mille!

Loved the location - I was looking for something very close to the beach and I think this this is one of the pest places - close to all beaches ( the very touristy one , and the quiet one - there is awesome free beach right next to caravella restaurant; And very close to a supermarket and the cab cars The room that I chose got a private patio with table and chairs and it was awesome! The room and the bathroom was spacious! Special thanks to the two hosts- they were very nice and welcoming! There is a restaurant in the property and the pizza was so delicious!

Great location. Very friendly, accomodating and helpful staff. The breakfast had plenty of sweet and savoury choices. Our room had a cosy outdoor seating area. The large outdoor breakfast/restaurant area is shaded and has a lovely sea view. We were happy and wanted to prolong our stay and book for an extra night but the room got booked up. We paid for 2 days parking so we were able to leave the car and enjoy another day at the beach even after checking out. Really lovely and friendly staff ☺️

The location is very good, it's only takes 1 minute to get to Taormina Cable car or the sea. The breakfast was good and filling. The view from the restaurant terrace is exellent

The room description and the picture on the Booking site is misleading. Among other facilities, it says the room has "Balcony, Terrace, View" Our room was in the lowered annex facing the car park, and we indeed had a small entrance patio which was facing this car park so the only view we had when attempted to sit outside was the view of the underneaths of the cars.

The location was great, staying in Taormina proper is too much trouble, but Hotel Villino Gallodoro was just a short distance from the lift to bring you up to Taormina so you could enjoy your hotel stay in relative peace, and go enjoy the busy Taormina when you wish. Also, located near the beach, access to boat and swimming was great.

Parking is a pain in every city. We found a place and just left the car parked until we left. The hotel had private parking available, so this is not a hotel problem, it just seems to be a problem everywhere in Italy.

We stayed only for one night, but the accomondation was perfect. The receptionist was very kind and helped us with the visit to the city centre and advised us some good restaurants. Isola Bella is 5 minute walk away, as well as cable car to the centre on the hill. Rooms were clean and spacious, we really liked a private view and terrace. Would recommend!

The stay was wonderful. The room was clean, the bed was very large and comfortable, which was important for my 2-meter-long partner 😃 the view from the balcony was like a fairy tale. view of the sea, bay, island. 5 minutes walk by cable car to the center. very tasty breakfasts, everyone will find something for themselves. excellent coffee. the food in the restaurant was tasty. very nice and helpful staff. I heartily recommend it

Reception staff for hotel were amazing! Gentlemen that ran the restaurant next was the opposite! Would not let us sit down with a few drinks to watch Euro finals whilst he was serving up 7 euro pizzas even though he charged us 6 euro for to mini cans of coke zero! Amazing place to stay, avoid the rude guy next door that joins the hotel!!! Beaches all close by! Avoid the second hand Capri at the top of the mountains!
