The first room that we were booked into, it really was terrible. Dodgy socket! My son unfortunately got an electric shock.. Telly not working. No duvet covers. No safety rail for the top bunk. No view... It really felt like a sub standard hostel room. But, our host when he heard about my son's accident. Immediately moved us to a much better room. The only bedroom with ensuite. Out of this bedrooms window, the amazing view of the water/marina Thank goodness for that view. Perfect for morning coffee or afternoon sun downers.

Can I recommend this apartment for visiting Venice? Yes, I do. Because if you go to this amazing city, it’s very important to have small details to complete the full impression. The main advantage of this apartment is a view on the sea and the channel. To have this view, you should choose “an apartment with king-size bed”. The bed is made up of 2 beds. I understand that it is difficult to have a whole 2-person bed for all cases. So for me getting up in the morning and seeing from the window historical places like Chiesa della Madonna dell'Orto where Tintoretto was buried and Casino degli Spiriti is to feel the history. According to the legend, Casino is haunted by a ghost, but fortunately I didn’t see it. We stayed here in winter (January-February) and the apartment was warm enough. At the apartment, there’s a kitchen (cooker, fridge, a number of cooking utensils, dishes, glasses). But by the way, I would like to recommend for the host to get a teapot for guests. Yes, it’s Italy with an excellent coffee, but sometimes people like to drink hot tea, especially in the winter. The room was clean, and the water was hot.

All instructions to pick up the keys were easy, and we could enter room much before check-in time, which was really helpful. Everything was clean and specious. Only thing is that for shared bathroom we had to wait to be free :D. But it was reasonable.

This place is in a non-touristy section of Venice and is relatively quiet. The canal view is decent. The place served as a good home base while exploring Venice on foot. We didn't have any issues with the shared bathroom or the self check-in process with the multiple locks. The place is essentially a four bedroom apartment.

No trash can in room. You have to put your own trash outside in bags if you want it removed. Rooms do not get cleaned or have towels washed unless specifically requested.

It was the first time I used Booking and I was worried but when I arrived at the place and saw that our room was ready for us, we even had towels, I was very happy. I loved everything, the contact with the person in charge (always in communication if something was needed), the room, bathroom (it was shared with other guests but no problem), the location was close to several places (it's in an alley but don't worry because it's safe, many streets in Venice are like that). I recommend 5*!

At first I was worried about it being in an alley but no problem, it's not on a main street but it's quite close to things (shops, restaurants, Rialto bridge, etc etc). I wish the sofas on the terrace had been the ones in the photo ehehe 😁 there was only one and it was different, but no problem. All great!

I liked the location, how big the bathroom was, the living space/kitchen was really pretty, and how spacious our room was. We were right by the boardwalk and a short boat ride from the main train station. Great value!

The shower was very weak and small and there isn't space in the shower to put things down.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable, the view was great and the location was in the middle of things so easy walk to everywhere

Paper thin walls, bathroom was a bit stained and not great sharing one bathroom between 4 rooms. the kitchen wasn’t as well equipped, with the oven being broken and the cleaner not cleaning it properly

Magnificent view from our room, clean room with enough wardrobes and drawers, common room with kitchen and table, quiet and non-touristic region of Venezia, yet not far from major sights

Unfortunately the washing machine and oven were broken, some doors (especially entrance to the jouse )are a bit difficult to open and close

Location is great. Our room even had a great view facing the canals. There were four of us sharing a room and it was still quite spacious. Great value for money.

The building is old, it could use a bit of a renovation.
