B&B Ca’Dor has an excellent location! We also really enjoyed the rustic feel of the rooms. Ester was so fabulous and helpful during our stay. She explained public transportation and the island to us when we checked in and gave us recommendations of things to do and places to eat. This is our 5th city on our Europe trek and this was our favorite place we stayed. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it!

The beds are pretty uncomfortable bc they are box spring, but honestly not a huge issue for me and for the price and everything else it provides it definitely was not a problem!

1. Perfect and secure location - 10/15 mins from Piazza di Marco. Hidden from the main turist roads, so it is also more quiet there. 2. Very nice warm and helpfull hosts. On the first day we got all best directions and reccommendations where to go, how to get there and what to see + what is not worth loosing time for. Everything written on paper and shown on the map at BnB. 3. Room tidied up everyday 4. Italian breakfast + coffee/ tea/ juices <3 (for those who don't know Italian breakfast contains sweet things like croissants. toasts, jam etc, if you need to eat meat, cheese etc maybe Italy is not for you :p, still there is a fridge in the kitchen available for the guests to store and prepare ur own meals). 5. Super old antique furnitures - for some people it could be disadvantage but I LOVE old antique furnitures. It adds a great vibe to the place which is Venice. I recommend this place - especially for those who does not want to waste time driving/ swimming to the center of Venice everyday. Its convenient and it has all the necessary stuff for a place to sleep and recover in between the sightseeing + the Hosts are lovely smiling people which is a great plus. Me and my wife, we had a great time in Venice.

Vacation time was too short as always

Breakfast was included in our room and offered cereal, toast and croissants. There is a coffee machine with good coffee. Everything is ready for self service. Cristina was lovely and very helpful with information about the water bus. The water bus stop in only 5 mins from the BnB. The water bus is easy to navigate and well signed so we used this method of transportation while in Venice. There is a lovely plaza in front of the BnB with a great restaurant called Spicy Puppa. The food and the service there was excellent. There is also a tapas bar in the plaza. And a blues bar in the next street. We loved our stay at BnB Ca’dor.

Nothing

Great location. Communication was excellent and instructions for finding the b&b were good. Unfortunately we were given the wrong door code but it was quickly fixed. Basic breakfast and tea and coffee facilities provided. Good size room.

Starting to be a bit tired. Toilet seat was wobbly and tap adjusted the wrong way in the shower. Bedside light on one side needs to be fixed.. Would have been a real bonus if the washing machine worked ( although they did not say there was a washing machine provided).

About a 20 min walk from train station along main street. Short walk to main attractions. Room was clean a perfect size. The breakfast was terrific and helpful. Esther was very helpful in providing suggestions and tips for seeing Venice

Only minor issue was a little noisy at night as there was a small establishment nearby, but it would quiet down.

The room is in an apartment with other 3 or 4 rooms. For us, it was large and nicely furnished. The apartment has a shared kitchen, where everything is set for breakfast. We liked that this was well taken care of. The location was good for us, we liked having a small square nearby with a good restaurant. Easy access to the ferry was also a plus.

The place was clean and nice. Really enjoyed it as it was close to center of Venice. The breakfast, even tough it was a continental one, it was ok, still something to eat in the morning. :)

The only thing that i can mention here is the noise. You can hear the street very well. And if some people decide to party until later on, you will probably hear them. It was the case with my experience. Right underneath the room window there was a restaurant/bar where some people decided to stay past closing hours, discussing loudly, smoking and drinking... I couldn't sleep until 3AM. So, my advice is bring earplugs or some sleeping pils. :)

The location is very good. it's easy to walk to all of the key areas of Venice. The property was clean and well kept. Directions received from the host were clear and easy to follow

We wrongly believed that as the name was B&B Ca'dor, bed and breakfast would be part of the offer. We were offered a basic breakfast, which we were told was free ,but all was prepacked and nothing fresh. If you follow a gluten-free diet, there was nothing available.

The owner was super lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Offered a lot of good advice and help when needed. Plus super responsive! The room and bathroom were nice and clean.

Not a fault of accommodation and personally I didn’t mind, but if you are a really light sleeper, I would recommend getting some earplugs as people outside can be quite loud.

The bed was super comfy, the accomodation was easy to access (ferry 1 to the Ca D’Oro stop, then a 7 minute walk to the door. Only 16 stairs to get up to the bnb! OR it is walkable). We loved the location - close to the station, close to Rialto bridge, easy to walk to main attractions, awesome restaurants and trattorias nearby. Our host was also lovely and professional. We spoke for a long time and she spent 30 minutes teaching me how to catch the bus or the ferry to the airport. She was very patient and caring and it felt like she had all the time in the world to help us! It was like nothing was too difficult. We also enjoyed the apricot cornetti for breakfast!

Wish we had stayed longer!!
