The location near the vaporetto station

We were accomodated in a secondary building, in a room without any view. In fact, the windows of the room were opening to a very small space, between other buildings on every side, very close (a few square meters). We asked to change our room, but they showed us the only available room, that was located at the ground floor of the main building and very noisy. So, we preferred to stay in the room without any view.

Very nice hosts, they speak good English, our room was even better than shown in pictures (beside the room itself, we were surprised by the bathroom and a wardrobe closet size and look). It's labeled as 14 square meters, but it's definitely only room without wardrobe and bathroom. Also, a very elegant, rustic design, a hotel is very beautiful, very nice breakfast, a lot of options, you cannot stay hungry, it based on self service. Wi-Fi is very fast and stable, a TV contains a ton of channels. A bed is very comfortable.

Thin pillows and you have to announce on what time you want to have a breakfast (there are a lot of rooms and space for eating is limited, so it's understandable).

We visit Venice once a year, before our ski trip. We had waited a few years before being able to book this hotel, it was always fully booked. It was worth the wait. At least as good as the 4 and 5 hotels we have stayed in previously. Huge room and bathroom. The staff are exceptional. Breakfast wonderful. It is the little things. really which are unusual There are no 'niggles' to irritate. Quiet, great lighting, comfortable bedding, lovely toiletries, individual hospitality. An example, we wanted to book a restaurant which is famously difficult to book, ahead of our visit. We are veggie and have little choice in Venice. They don't answer their phone. I contacted the hotel and Sandro went to the restaurant and made the booking face to face.

Unless I get my act together, they will be fully booked when we try for next year.

Breakfast was -- by Italian standards -- very good and had a wide variety of breakfast foods. Coffee was excellent (better than in many cafés in Venice). The room was well appointed and pleasant. It was very quiet. The bed was good, even for my wife, who is usually not happy with hotel beds. The bedspread was too heavy, but there were two wool blankets and four sheets, so we could improvise. Many pillows were provided. Staff were very friendly and genuinely seemed to be good-natured. They all spoke English, some of them better than Italian.

A dim night light in the bathroom would have been useful; but they are hard to find and rare in hotels. It would have been nice to have two room keys, but given that the room was in a separate building from the main hotel, and we required two different key cards and a metal key, I understand why they don't give out multiple copies.

The staff is like a ray of sunshine. I'm usually not a morning person, but the attendants who bring in the breakfast buffet are in such a good mood that it’s contagious, and you automatically feel happy too

Small nitpick: The stone floor in the room was quite cold. It would be fantastic if the Hotel could provide a pair of slippers for rooms with this type of flooring.

The room was beautiful and glamorous. The little garden is adorable and pleasant - i wish we'd had our breakfast there :) the staff were helpful and friendly - the breakfast staff especially were accommodating and kind. The street is cute and VERY close to the Stae street Alilliguna (water bus) stop.

The room would have been easily able to have a fridge - which it didn't. I would have liked that. Also, the lack of screens meant we couldn't keep the windows open without worrying about mosquitos - and such beautiful windows should be open :) otherwise, perfect!

Sandro was friendly, polite and helpful upon our arrival, taking the time to talk to us about Venice. He pointed out the location of the hotel on a large map and showed us how to get around. The reception desk is manned 24 hrs and the good natured staff are always happy to answer any questions - day or night! The room was both beautiful and very clean. Excellent location, conveniently located close to a vaporetto stop and walking distance to many places of interest. Excellent choice for breakfast and very cheerful, efficient ladies serving drinks and replenishing the food area.

I cannot think of anything I didn’t like. A perfect experience..

The staff were really friendly, welcoming, and passionate on providing advice on on Venice. Convenient location: easy to reach with the Alilaguna ferry from the airport and is 50m from a Vaporetto stop on the Canal Grande. Less than a 10 min walk to Rialto. Plenty of restaurants in the area where locals would go to. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice large rooms. Dogs allowed to stay for free. Excellent value for money

Friendly staff, good breakfast, excellent water pressure in shower. Nice dark room and quiet area at night. Traditional decoration. Fantastic location for walking to all the sites and exploring this lovely city by foot or by boat.

The mattress could be better, too much roll together. TV was strangely positioned very high. A lamp would have been nice. Not a fan of paper cups for tea and coffee in the room.

The location was great in that it's near a water-bus stop and close enough to the main sights to walk, and the area was quiet both by day and night; there were also a few restaurants in the area. The hotel looked great, and the breakfast was a very welcome way to start the day; the breakfast staff were also lovely.

The breakfast tables were maybe a bit small for two people, but that wasn't a huge issue. The front door to the annexe was a bit stiff, but again, that wasn't a big deal.
