Comfortable room and beds. Decent sized bathroom. Great view of the ocean from our balcony. The hotel is easy to get to. There is a Nespresso Vertuo in the room with 6 pods. The beach is within walking distance along an avenue with several restaurants. The hotel restaurant has great food, but limited options for vegetarian and no dedicated GF options. Downtown La Jolla is a less than a 10 minute drive if there is no traffic. There is a heated outdoor pool.

The hotel only has paid parking onsite. Free parking is on the residential streets with the closest being 1.5 blocks away. The restaurant did not have gluten free options and limited vegetarian options. Our room was very noisy, even at 10pm and 6am. We were on the 9th floor and the restaurant is on the 11th. When we checked out, we spoke with the front desk, and the best determination was that the noise was from the restaurant and travels through the walls. I recommend ear plugs for light sleepers. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring mine.

Great location. The staff was great when I checked in!

As I was checking out. The lady at the front desk did not acknowledge me. I waited about 5 minutes before she asked what I needed. I let her know I was checking out. She said, "You can leave your cards here." I asked for a receipt, and she then stated, "It will be emailed to you." I said, "No, I would like a copy." It seemed to be an inconvenience to her.

Our room was newly renovated and sparkly clean. Although it was only on the fourth floor, the view was still amazing. Beds were super cozy. The elevators are currently being renovated and the wait is a little longer than usual, but manageable. Our incredible experience here was rounded out by friendly and helpful staff!

Paper cups!!! US$30/day resort fees not included in price. Need to use on hotel services like food which was overpriced and not very good and then they charge US$40 for parking. Price - expensive for what it offers and then your slugged resort fee too

The front desk staff were especially accommodating and welcoming. Eric? Very helpful. There was a barman, Oscar I think who was also very kind and welcoming out by the pool.

I was surprised to receive charges for a resort fee of $25 and a parking fee I was not aware of before I booked my room. Those two charges increase the per night room rate to a level higher than I would have liked to have paid.

Location is perfect; the hotel is a short walk from all the shops and restaurants and of course the spectacular beach. The hotel decor and pool area are lovely . on site dining in Cusp restaurant is a must - brunch is delicious and the sunset views are incredible. All the staff from housekeeping to maintenance are so professional and friendly especially Nadia at reception, and Eddie and James in Cusp - you guys are so great at your jobs - thanks for making my stay so special. I will visit again

Elevator needs to be replaced - it’s old and not reliable

Staff were friendly and helpful, from front desk to restaurant. Convenient to grab gas or coffee at Starbucks right next door. Free bikes to borrow. 10 minute walk to beach.

The hotel is in a wonderful location for the beach and a more relaxed environment than the busyness of central San Diego. Access to surrounding activiteis is easy. The view from the room balcony is amazing for sunsets and to view the ocean and surrounding La Jolla Shores area.

The facility is starting to show wear and could use some attention in its room furnishings and balcony sliding doors.

Really great hotel. Easy parking, great rooms, amazing view, too restaurant with a stunning view. Will always prefer to stay here when in La Jolla. Easy walk to beach and restaurants.

nice room

The hotel had no record of our reservation on booking.com even though I had all of the information, booking number, etc. The hotel charged me $20 more than my confirmation price. The offered a $30 breakfast credit, but I didn't use it. Booking.com said I was entitled to a $77 credit on my account but I couldn't find how to use it.
