Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Good food and clean comfortable room. We had limited free time but staff arranged purpose built tour of the waterfalls and coffee plsntations through an agent for us. Our guide, young Andreas was exceptional. Outside the city is much better to see real Costa Rica so take some tours

The area around the hotel is a bit run down and not safe after dark according to any locals we spoke with. However, i did not feel or see anything to concern me, there were lots of police around. There were lots of drug addict and homeless tyoes, but this is familiar in european cities also and is to be somewhat expected in a city in this part of the world. We used Uber to navigate the city to the pub and restaurant areas close by rather than walk at night. These were cheap.

Your Staff at the front desk was awesome and helpful. The room was very clean. The bartender at the bar was very nice and provided great service. Your valet attendant provided great service. Great clean property. Highly recomended.

I didn't like the fact that one of the towels used for showering was tearing apart. It looked like an old towel. For such a wonderful property, your guests should be provided with the best experience there is. You had better towels in the gym. I also did not like the fact that there was a screw sticking out and was not screwed in where you adjust the water in the shower. A guest could easily have cut their finger.

Upon making our reservation, we requested to have 3 rooms together so that our family could be together but we were not accomodated at check in.

Great staff! Super friendly and they went out of their way to help out when I needed anything. They also have a little fitness center so I used that a couple of times during the stay. Location was also great!

No charging ports or outlets for devices close to the bed and it needs a modern renovation (which I believe they’re working on).

I was upgraded to club room with all the club room comfort and services. Thanks for that! I also liked, that breakfast was in 17 floor restaurant with nice view over the town. Reception persons were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in town center, all museums and walking streets very near. Bed was very comfortable.

Strange system with shower water. Never seen anything like that. Noisy repairment works in lobby.

Very nice hotel, presented very well. The staff went above and beyond for my partners birthday. Travelling from the UK I was struggling for ideas for him - Abdaly and Dominik were exceptional in assisting. The breakfast was good with lots of options. Oh and we had an early start and they prepared us a bag for 4:30am. Very good thank you.

Breakfast could have had more variety. We have been coming since 2010 and the breakfast foods seemed better than they are now.

The staff were friendly and helpful - and spoke English. the location was fantastic and allowed me to walk to most things I wanted to see and do. the place was modern and always clean.

Highly recommend! This hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable even though it could be nicer. Great breakfast, perfect location in the center of San Jose, a free walking tour departs right in front of the hotel in the morning. We had a wonderful stay!
