On the way to Hotel from Airport by taxi. I was overcharged more than double ridiculously and even lost wallet. I didn’t catch the taxi and disgusting driver’s number. A staff at front desk tried to find taxi by all means. I could find wallet due to her. Although all the money in the wallet had disappeared I could take back my wallet lucky. I really appreciate her sincere assistance. I am sorry for not recognizing her name. This hotel is perfect and superb with helpful staffs!

This hotel will make you live an unforgettable guest experience ! Rooms are very spacious with wonderful views and impressive amenities/equipments. I think I can summarize the incredible experience with these included services : - First full round of minibar (with a bottle of wine) is included - Daily laundry service for three clothes is included Swimming pool is impressive with very nice city views ! Last but not least : buffet breakfast is awesome ! The value for money is just....unbelievable !

Spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed. Amazing buffet breakfast. Restaurant staff and bell men provide a very high level of service.

Room was very cold, even after turning a/c off. Limited onsite restaurant options. Most of the reception staff were excellent. Some could improve their English. Unfortunately one reception staff was quite rude when my colleague enquired about extending the check out time. The gentleman originally served her was fine but this lady interrupted and was very rude.

The overall service of the hotel was very good. Did not have any unpleasant experience. Staff were very professional in their capacity and were helpful. The Executive Lounge was good and had a Awesome View. (Closed a bit too early 9pm) The complimentary Mini Bar was a nice touch though I had only 1 coke during my stay there. Did use the complimentary Dry Cleaning services for my suits (1 set a day). The indoor heated pool had lovely view next to the Gym on the 41st Floor.

Breakfast is top. The design of the restaurant is so nice, it feels like luxurious and very comfortable. The waiters are very polite and friendly. The reception is also very nice, the housekeeping is very helpful. We loved to use the free laundry option, and the rooms and bathrooms are just stunning. The free bottle of wine is also a winner.

Maybe the baguette in the breakfast could have been more crispy, we did not get the best view from the room, but that would have been extremely expensive. So we understood. The place is just expensive, but in fact it is so much nicer.

Hotel was one of the best we have stayed in Shanghai. Amazing views and the club room is worth the extra especially if you haven't paid for the city view.

Having to swim with a swimming cap in the pool. We know it's China but most pools around the world don't require this. Some of the steam rooms etc. were closed or not repaired properly. This was a very minor inconvenience in a fantastic hotel.

Had a pleasant and wonderful birthday staycation with Regent and we get free upgrade to premium pearl view suite room upon check in with complementary minibar items and wine. The day and night view of the pearl and shanghai city from our suite is awesome ! Not to forget to visit the pool as the view is amazing too. Love the Eau De Magnolia toiletries provided by Regent. Otherwise, staffs are very helpful and attentive , they will assist our issue when it comes to food order&delivery as a foreigner .

great location in the heart of Pudong and on floor 36 what a light show! The room was big and elegant.

My only quibble was with the minibar issue, which bizarrely came up repeatedly in the hotel listing. I don’t usually use a minibar but this being “complementary” I looked in to find it had barely anything in it. There was no bottle of wine as advertised and no milk for the coffee machine. I ordered two drinks and milk for the coffee and got charged 200 RMB around 20 Pounds.

Amazing location. I was allocated a room facing the 3 tall towers and views towards the river. The reception staff were very very good . They helped with early check in, also helped with making sure the phone I was using could use WeChat! The breakfast selection was good. Staff in the restaurant were very courteous.

The restaurant could do with having some more vegetarian options.
