Short stay at JR Inn as we came direct from Asahikawa, checked in hotel around 4pm and checked out early 6am as we had flight to catch at Chitose airport at 9:30am. The hotel was kind enough to book us a taxi to the airport at 6am. The fare for the taxi for 2 adults with 3 baggages was around 2200 yen. Yes it was a bit expensive for a short distance but we did not opt for the train even though it is very near with the hotel (next to it) because we were too lazy to drag our luggages early morning with the snow/icy snow on the ground. They have power outlet on the bed frame so it is easy to charge our hp while sleeping.

Nothing to dislike except for the room is a bit small, but it's Japan.. we anticipated that already.

Surprisingly good. Great public bath on the second floor, where the hotel provided a well appointed library with a coffee machine. There was also a laundry room for guests with four washers and four dryers. Fantastic if you are up in Chitose/Sapporo for golf. The best feature, however, was the ability to pick out a second, or third, pillow for your room at the reception lobby. Four, five, or six types of pillows were available, with covers. That was a really nice treat. The hotel is located at the station, so airport access is easy by train, and the hotel is surrounded by convenience stores.

If you are driving, parking can be tight.

This is a great choice if you want to visit Sapporo and destinations within a 2-hour train ride. We stayed there for 3 nights while exploring Sapporo. Afterward, we rented a car from a nearby pick-up location, easily reachable by an affordable taxi ride. We loved the public bath on the 2nd floor, which had a lounge area offering tea, coffee, and tables for reading or working. The train station was only a 3-minute walk away, and an Aeon Mall with good restaurants was also nearby. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Being conveniently located near the airport, we chose to stay there again on our last night before leaving Hokkaido.

Check-out was at 10:00 a.m., with a late check-out fee of 1,000 Yen per hour.

The location is excellent. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The place is clean, tidy and has everything we need (Loved the comfy lounge) while being compact. The breakfast is hearty and delicious while not have as many choices as other buffet style, it's still very nice. We enjoyed our time here and would recommended JR inn.

This is really just nitpicking here. Honestly not necessarily a bad thing, but the food choices could be larger, but what we had was still very hearty and delicious. And if you are a fan of onsen, the small facility could be a tiny bit disappointment (It's clean, serviceable and honestly better than not having one imo)

Clean and comfortable and excellent location

Location is next to JR train station. It is just 2 stations away from New Chitose Airport. You can reach here by train with just 270 yen. Ignore the google map which stated that it cost 1.1k yen for 2 stations

The toilet bowl is REALLY small. I stay at 4 different hotels and visit multiple public toilet, none of them have issue unlike this hotel. It like kid size toilet. The price is also quite expensive

We liked that it was very near the JR station enroute to the New Chitose airport. We also liked how seamless the check-in was, very straightforward. We also liked the everything was well thought out for a quick stopover enroute to the airport. We also liked that there is a Yayoi to eat in at the lobby.

Although we requested for a non-smoking room, the room still smelled off it. Perhaps it was from other floors where smoking is allowed. The room is also a quite small for two people. There was hardly any room for our bags.

Located right next to Chitose railway station, it's great for a stay just before or after your flight (15 min to Chitose Airport by train). The room was super clean, modern, and nicely decorated. The staff are super wonderful, very friendly and kind. The hotel has all the facilities. Even an onsen that's included in the room price (which we didn't know, came as a nice surprise). The common areas, lounge and library are fantastic, great to get work done or to relax. Superb for solo travelers or business travelers. We had a very pleasant stay, it exceeded our expectations. This modern hotel is conveniently located next to the JR station Chitose. It costs 270 yen to go to the airport which is 2 stations away. There are a few interesting restaurants nearby such as Akabei grilled beef tongue restaurant. Our room looks new and clean but it is a bit small. Surprisingly, the bathroom is more spacious than I expected. Overall, it is a nice and not expensive hotel to stay overnight before flying back home the next morning.

The shower head is so tiny and the shower spray is too harsh. They should change it.

Hotel allows you to choose the type of pillow you would like - there is a rack on display at the hotel lobby and you can just take what you prefer! Good choices too - e.g. down pillow, sponge pillow etc. JR Inn Chitose is very centrally located just next to the Chitose JR Station. There are two 7-Elevens just outside the hotel - very convenient for buying breakfast items which you can then microwave back at the hotel on Level 2. There is also an indoor hot bath on Level 2 of the hotel. There is free parking on site if you have a car. The room is very clean, about the size of other Japanese hotel rooms. Toilet is Japanese-size but very clean and well appointed.

Breakfast option at the hotel is very limited. There is a Yayoi restaurant next door to the hotel and connected by an internal door. From early morning, the Yayoi only serves hotel guests and it has a basic breakfast set menu for 900 yen. Price is ok but the set doesn't taste so good. Can try once but after that you may probably prefer 7-Eleven!
