We were in the Villa which is lovely and new. It’s not actually at the location the where most of photos are taken but it’s only 100m away and it’s sign posted adequately. They filled our mini bar for free. Extra towels provided.

Outside has UHF pest control(?) which you can hear and is quite painful if your hearing is good/you’re under 35-40. If you’re older, you may not hear it. The check in process has more levels of security than NORAD. Be prepared to video conference at the property for checkin. No laundry facilities and they wouldn’t let us use the dishwasher (despite it being part of the kitchen) which for extended stays is a pain.

Very good value for money. Two floor vila which can easily accommodate family of 4-5 ppl, two bedrooms , bathroom and toilet , small living room downstairs . The villa is very clean and well maintained. Private parking is on site, keep in mind that you will need a car since the public transport is not great in that area. Free welcome package with beverages and sweets was provided which is super nice ! Soft and clean bedding , so you can have a very good sleep. Easy online checkin process

Two things which are a little bit disappointing (but they are a fact and you just need to be familiar with them) , there is no real kitchen for cooking , so dont plan any meals preparation while you stay (7eleven / familymart are near by) , and also , there is practically no place to have a meal , since the living room is more for watching tv and having family time rather than having a meal

Stunning apartment in such beautiful part of Japan. We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very spacious, well designed and fully equipped. They even thought of welcoming drinks and cakes, which is super nice attention. The staff was super kind and helpful. They even dropped us to the bus station when leaving the place. It was a real pleasure staying here ! I truly recommend it !

Nothing to say. Maybe a suggestion of a potential additional breakfast to order, made from locals with local food ? 😊

Great size. Comfy, stylish, free snacks and drink including beer and champagne. Bathroom great. All singing and dancing bath which fills up automatically and plays a tune when full. Water pressure fab and good toiletries. Would def stay again.

Would be nice to have enough coffee for each nights stay. Only 2 coffees for 2 nights for 2 adults. Need to say that when checking out you need to have the main front door open before pressing final check out button as got locked in. Had to go back into property and son had to climb out of window to get us out. Black out blinds are really needed as you are woken up as soon as it’s sunrise.

This was a fantastic apartment. Very clean, spacious, great location. Every amenity was considered and provided. I emailed the owner regarding a query, they responded immediately and we were very satisfied. There was a free mini bar and snacks available. I would 100% recommend this place!

I would suggest the owner consider getting black out blinds for the living room. The outside porch light needs to be left on in accordance with Japanese law. This was a bit annoying when I was sleeping on the sofa bed. The owner was amazing when I emailed them about this, they explained it had to be left on, they delivered eye masks and two creme caramels as an acknowledgement to my discomfort. Customer service was incredible!

The hotel is new and modern. Stay was comfortable and didn't have any problems. Everything was described. Staff was great with communication and in answering questions about driving in the area with wintery weather. I would stay here if I visit the area again.

The check-in process could have been simpler. I had pre-filled all the necessary details and still had to go through some steps at the doorstep of the hotel using a tablet that they had placed. I didn't have any problems and it only took about 5 to 10 minutes to fill all the information (again) and video call a hotel person to validate our passports and show our faces. I'm not sure what would have happened if the tablet didn't work for any reason. The 2 twin beds seemed smaller than usual (I didn't measure the width, so I could be wrong here). Luckily, the beds were moving with ease. So, we combined the 2 twins beds and it was just enough for 2 adults and a 5 year old. If you have an older kid, you may have to consider a different room type.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sengokuhara 533 in Hakone. Modern, clean and comfortable, located in a quiet street in Sengokuhara. The hosts were very kind and accomodating. Lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby, and closest bus stop is about a 7 minute walk away which will take you all over Hakone. Wish I had stayed here longer, definitely the highlight of our trip. Luxury accomodation for an affordable price.

It’s very clean and feels secured with the multiple locks. We were pleasantly surprised with what was provided in the fridge and kitchen for snacking and mini celebration. Pity we were driving, so never take the champagne. A very quiet neighbourhood. First time checking in and out using such remotely high tech, human-less.

There were not much food options around in the evening. So we ended up getting food from convenience store.

Good location, within walking distance from the bus stop. The apartment was very clean, and everything you might need was provided in both the kitchen and the bathroom. The welcome drinks were a wonderful surprise, with a great selection ranging from water to beer and cava. On top of that, we accidentally left our earbuds behind, and the staff kindly sent them to us by post. Highly recommended!

It was the best place we stayed in during our trip. Wonderful house. Beautiful, cozy, modern, clean... The staff are extremely helpful, even they are not physically there, they response to any mail immediately. They were super kind letting us leave the luggage before the check-in time, and later after checking out, even longer than we requested. the rooms are big, with nice closets, big beds and lots of space. The living room is very nice, and the toilette and bathroom are very modern and clean. We totally recommend it.

Not many grocery stores nearby, so need to buy your food and drinks at a shop near the bus station (where the bus from Odawara station stops). That shop is good enough, though.
