The Standard Twin was spacious enough to fully open two medium size luggage. It has also a basin where you can brush your teeth in the room without the need to head out. The floors are also heated and you can adjust the temperature. The toilets were well maintain even though it is shared. The most unexpected feature that we enjoy most of our stay is the onsite onsen. They have two private onsen of different size. They have an onsite dry room for shoes/gloves as well as your ski/SB equipment. It is located a short 2 min walk to the main echoland street where they are plenty of good food. The only thing you wish for after a long day of ski/sb is to find food nearby. The main street has everything from ski/sb rental to convenience store and food. There are also free shuttle bus to various ski resorts within 2 mins walk from the accommodation. This hotel has discount cards for both the ski/sb equipment rental and ski passes for selected stores/ski resorts.
The beds are abit hard but after a full day of ski/sb, i guess you will be able to sleep anywhere. No towels and toothbrush provided. It comes with a fee if you require these.

The hosts make the Dancru Netz a wonderful place to stay. They are very accomodating and kind and clearly spend a lot of time making sure all our comforts are met. The breakfast is good value with coffee, tea, juice, a hot dish with egg, meat and salad (different every day) with fresh rolls and cereal as well. The communal area is very spacious, yet cosy with the fire and furnishings. There are lots of musical instruments and a decently priced bar as well. We found the rooms to be warm and comfortable with some tatami and some standard western beds available. The shared shower facilities were never an issue and easy to access. Our highlight was the two onsens - we never had to wait for one and they are THE perfect way to rejuvenate the 'ol bones following a big day on the slopes. There is plenty of space in the dry room for all your gear. The location is fabulous - a very short walk from ski hire, cafes, restaurants and the shuttles. We will be back and we know where we'll be staying!

Great location, full list of accommodations, helpful staff. The heating worked great, and the mattresses were surprisingly comfortable. Loads of extra blankets and pillows. BEST pillows of any hotel we stayed at. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Check in and out was easy. Super close to local transportation and restaurants, easy to get to. Charming cottage experience.
The only issue we found, and it was very minor were the towels provided for a small fee. The towels were microfibre, so didn’t dry very well. But we could have brought our own towels and the ones provided were inexpensive and worked well enough.

The owners were extremely sweet. There was a language barrier but they were patient and very helpful. The ryokan was extremely clean and well-maintained. I loved the German theme throughout the entire place. I also loved how the shower room was a private room, even though it was technically shared. The rooms were spacious and it was convenient to have a sink inside the room.
It was difficult to figure out the shuttle schedule so it would be nice if there was more of an explanation. Hakuba is hard to get around if you don't have a car. A free or even a low-fare phone on the property would be nice in order to make local calls for pickup (i.e. arranging pickup for ski rental shop). I couldn't make an international phone call on my cell so I had to borrow the owner's personal phone. I also noticed that in general Hakuba is a little more expensive than other ski towns like NozawaOnsen so there is an upcharge for services. For example, it cost 1,000 Yen to be picked up from the bus station.

Our chalet cottage was perfect for our family of four. The accommodation is very close to the Lion Adventure rental shop (1min walk) and we were able to buy passes online and at the base of Goryu and Happo-one. Drying room brilliant and our chalet was very warm.
Not much at all, just not always easy to get to slopes so we resorted to Uber as we weren’t overly organised with the shuttles.

Location is right in the middle of Echoland, just off the main road. Rooms were always a comfortable temperature, host was friendly and dry room downstairs was never locked so there was no need to rush in after a day skiing. We were also able to leave our gear at the accommodation when we booked out so the hire place could pick it up! Very hassle free stay.
The rooms are very quiet. Whilst the majority of people can sleep well in a silent room, I need white noise like a fan to sleep. Unfortunately the property wasn't able to meet this request but that is okay.

Perfect location for use of the free shuttle and close to plenty of great restaurants and bars in Echoland. Rooms were super comfortable and clean. The hosts were really welcoming and kind and provided a great breakfast. We would 100% stay here again.

Breakfast is good. You can order dinner in the hotel. Onsen is good and help to relax every night after skiing.
It's not convenient to bus terminal. You can pay the host or taxi to terminal. Restaurants are much less than terminal area.
