I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The location is excellent, close to major attractions and perfect for exploring the city on foot. The Dobashi tram station is just a 2-minute walk away, adding extra convenience for getting around. There are plenty of convenience stores, shops, and restaurants nearby as well. The room was comfortable, and the shared space provided a great atmosphere for connecting with other guests, sharing thoughts, and recounting our day’s adventures. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area! P.S: Please note that the hostel does not have an elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs to different floors. However, the hostel offers a convenient luggage room where you can store your bags instead of taking them to your room. You can easily access your luggage and retrieve anything you need whenever necessary.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hostel. It was a little bit old but so clean and I met awesome people in the shared lounge/kitchen. The location is great, only a 25 minute electric tram ride from Hiroshima Station and a 5-10 minute walk to the Peace Park. There are lots of food options around, including a supermarket.

The same as others have mentioned, but you have to press a button for the shower and it turns off in under a minute. It was so frustrating to have to keep pressing it. They really need to invest in dark curtains! The blind in the room didn’t block the sunlight and the cream curtains to my cubicle didn’t either which made it hard to sleep. I had a pretty unlucky cubicle that had two curtains facing the window and there were definitely other beds that weren’t as impacted by the light. I would definitely go back, but would hope for a better bed next time.

Great hostel, perfect location, near the center area, but also very close to the tram station. Also possibility to rent a bicycle, very convenient ! The dormitory are very confortable and spacious. Nice rooftop and it was so easy to meet people on the commun room on 1F. Would definitely recommend. Also, the staff is really welcoming and always ready to help.

I would say the showers need a little bit of improvement/refreshment but that is just a detail. Otherwise everything is simple and great.

The bunk beds were especially spacious. If you took the top bunk. The facilities were clean. The reception was extremely helpful. One of the places you'd want to visit in Hiroshima is Miyajima (Deer Island). If you didn't get the JR pass, you can buy a cheap day pass at the front. You can use it for both the ferry (Not the JR) and the rail cars. The lounge area is spacious and homey. Met some wonderful people here. The hostel is close to a railcar stop, and it's really close to the Peace Park.

This is the only place that served their coffee in drip form. Most people don't really know how to prepare their coffee in this fashion anymore (haha). Probably would be best to replace the coffee maker with a jar of instant coffee.

Very helpful and friendly staff who spoke excellent English. We had a very spacious private room. The futon beds were very nice and comfortable. Good facilities, aka kitchen (with all appliances), bathrooms on every level, washing facilities, and a lounge area, to name a few. In a great location to access the peace park and local trams.

Can be a little noisy at times (depending on the other travellers). There is a poster stating that the "quiet time" starts at 10pm. No elevator (bigger bags can be stored on level 1).

Friendly, helpful staff who speak English. Dorm room size was OK and the futon mattress was comfortable. Good wifi. Free filter coffee was good. Kitchen well stocked and equipped for cooking simple meals. Good location near the peace museum and main roads for public transport. Easy walking distance to supermarkets and a fruit/veg shop. Shared bathroom and toilets were generally clean (always depends on other guests), just the weird showers that are push-button operated so you have to keep pressing it for water. Good lounge area with various books to read & chill. Luggage storage available.

The smoking area is directly in front of the hostel and the cigarette smoke & smell can very easily drift into the lounge dining area.

Great location a few minutes peace park museum. Hostel was very clean, organized and attractive. Large stocked kitchen lounge was great. On site coin laundry was a bonus. Bikes were good, but they are not included. You need to rent them at a fair price. Quiet place. Linens were good. You have to rent towels. Wifi was good. Luggage room available on ground floor.

We were on fourth floor and no elevator. Futons were thin and stained. No hanging hooks in the room.

The room and the facilities were excellent, quite comfortable with lots of space and amenities and perfectly clean. Ryu at reception is a great guy to talk to and he knows his way around Hiroshima, he helped us to plan our visit to the city and was always there whenever we needed anything. They have a locked room for luggage where you can safely store it and the location is great, overall a perfect stay!

As in many Japanese houses, sound tends to leak into the room, but guess what, they give you free earplugs!

I loved everything about this place! Great location, central but very quiet, supermarkets and restaurants really close by. Many streetcar stops were just around the corner, so we could go to the station and also to Miyajima island directly. The room was very spacious and comfortable, the shared facilities were always clean and never crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful, he gave us good tips on what to see and how to move around the city!

Lovely room with tatami mats and futon. Helpful staff, a good kitchen and break out space to meet other travellers. Washing machine and clothes line. Very close to peace park which was great, the neighbourhood was somehow quiet, but excellent okonomayaki restaurants and public baths and Izakaya’s around.

Minor complaint but we had 3 flights of stairs to room.
