The location is nice. There are busses about every hour. If you can walk up steps you can be at Kawana station in about 15 minutes and the views are great. A small mall with fast food and stores is within 30 minutes walk. The beach is beautiful. There is a pier to look off of. The beach consists of tumbled pebbles and the water is crystal clear. As for the room it is clean and comfortable. There was a good size tub and shower room. The bathroom seemed new and modern. Only about 50 meters from the water, the hotel was quiet both inside and out. I highly recommend this hotel as an inexpensive option for those visiting Mt. Omuro and the Jogasaki Coast.

Good price. I enjoyed the small village it was in and the nearby beach.

I didn't realize that I had to notify the hotel a couple days before that I needed a parking spot. There was no one to speak to when I arrived and I didn't receive a helpful response to my email. So I had nowhere to park. Luckily, I was able to park at the beach without my car getting towed or fined but it didn't seem like that would also be an option for visitors year round.

Location is great! 1 min walk to the beach, location is super quiet. but you probably want to drive to the hotel, because there is not many convenient stores or restaurants around. It is very easy to communicate with the owner. Room is big enough for two people, bathroom is new and spacious, bed is comfortable.

Inside the room, all the surface is clean enough, but I think there is a lot of area that the cleanliness can be improved. For example the, lobby, the hallway, the staircase, and under the beds.

Its a great place for a base, easy to drive down to Shimoda ( you will need a car to stay there). Dolophin beach is great for families with small kids, no waves, plenty of fish too see as well.

The walls are very thin, if it is full, you will hear the people around you. I had to bang on my neighbor's door harshly as their group was talking very loudly at 11:30 PM. ( Not at 10:30 and the rules state be quiet after 23:00)

Straightforward self check-in, clean room, peacefull. Next to the beach and diving club and a bus stop.

Quite a few rules and direction that other hotels do without as they are self evident. No stores or cafés in the vicinity that work after 7pm, bus is infrequent.

It was easy self-service to access the room. The room was clean and the aircon was cold. The beach is a five minute walk away. The stars were beautiful at night!

Comfortable beds, good WiFi and bathroom facilities were excellent. Easy to find and access the room via the key safe.

There’s a kettle in the room but no mugs for hot drinks. It’s a very late check in at 5pm. Considering check out is 10am this seems a bit excessive. Please note that the walk to the station is up a very steep hill (there is a sporadic bus if you need it). This was fine for us but if you struggle with hills and don’t have a car you are completely reliant on the bus which goes 1-2 times/hour. There was a microwave on the second floor but if, like us, you have children and are reliant on being able to make your own food (especially breakfast) there is no shared crockery. We had to buy polystyrene bowls from the supermarket by the station which was less than ideal. I don’t think it would be too much to have a few bits of communal crockery / spoons / chopsticks in the area where the microwave was. We would have found it very helpful.

Nice location right next to the beach, in this cute port town. Directly on the pacific cycling road which we were doing, which was convenient in that regard. The room was clean and comfortable and the self check-in quite smooth.

Noise insulation between the rooms was very poor and we were disturbed in our sleep by our noisy neighbours. Also, the location was not so convenient in terms of access to supermarkets/convenience stores. Indeed, the closest supermarket is next to the station, which is on top of a serious hill, making it difficult to reach by bicycle. The closest convenience store is even further up the hill, on the national road.
