The hotel Is super clean, the staff is incredible polite, the location was perfect to me, it's just few minutes from the station 1000yen by taxi, I could walk to the main tourist spots, market, temples, shirines. I found also the best restaurants and bars in that area, you can walk by the river starting just few steps from the hotel
I couldn't stay more days, my holiday is over.

Perfect Kyoto location. Close to Gion but also to downtown and station. Lots of great bars and restaurants in strolling distance. Felt new and rooms were clean, quiet and good sized. Extremely good value at time of booking. Really friendly staff and they offer free breakfast snacks.
Nothing at all.

Front desk staff were incredible. Could not do enough to make our stay even better
The cleaner on 9th floor was absolutely useless. The bath was never washed and twice the bed was not made when we got back in the evening.

Appreciate the hospitality the hotel provides with full of welcome and passion. Glad I can be the first customer to enjoy this place. Super comfortable and it’s right by the Kano river which is awesome 👏🏼

The room was spacious and clean and the staff were so nice and polite, even when we accidentally locked our room card in the room. They also offered some complimentary Japanese sweets from Kyoto and the staff explained to me what they are. When we left they gave us some sembe which are Japanese rice crackers which was fun to try. The soundproofing was good because we didn't hear any sounds from the other rooms or from outside in the street while we slept. It was nice to receive a water bottle each day with room cleaning.
For some reason the heater in the room seemed to turn itself on automatically once a day in the afternoon. Since we visited in winter, it was nice to come back to the warm hotel room. But we couldn't easily work out how to use the airconditioner remote to turn off the heat for sleep. Of course, we should have asked the staff members who would kindly help. But could I suggest the hotel to provide some instructions for foreign visitors who cannot read the Japanese remote? This is a very minor thing and not really an issue at all :)

I booked the hotel based on the good reviews, and it really didn't disappoint me . The staff were very polite and helpful going above and beyond to help us during our stay of 4 nights . Location is very good with a lot of good restaurant qithin walkining distance . Gion district and nishiki market are just nearby . Kyoto station is 5 min by taxi and 20 min by walking . There's a soba restaurant a few steps away from the hotel recommended by the staff. It was really good, and you should really try if you're soba lover . The hotels provide basic skin care at the reception, which is amazing. We love our stay in this hotel and will definitely come back if we visit again .
We came back to the room when the staff was doing cleaning, and i didn't like that the pillows were left on the floor when he did the changing . To me is dirty and the pillow should be not be put on the floor .

Located a very short walk from Kiyamachi-dori, Pontocho and just across the river from Gion, with a bus stop a minute away. Also close to Kawaramachi and Nishiki Market. Staff was very helpful in arranging a dinner reservation for us, even going so far as to writing a note in Japanese and including their personal telephone number.
The advertised "light" breakfast was not a good quality. Not sure if was because we first booked two nights, then added three -- instead of booking five nights -- but our room wasn't cleaned nor was our linen changed for our entire stay. Room was really small but the size is indicated and we knew that going in.

The staff were super polite and friendly and went out of their way to make sure guests were well looked after. The room was a good size for Japanese hotels - we had a twin room as we found the rooms to be bigger. There was a kettle in the room and drinks provided and all the toiletries you would need in the bathroom. Also there was a laundry room where we were able to do some washing and the hotel also provided a small breakfast in the reception area. The hotel was on the corner of quite a busy road but with the window closed the room was quiet. The location was great to access public transport and was walking distance to the Geisha district.
Everything was great. The only thing perhaps worth noting was that we only went to get the breakfast once and the reception area was very crowded and so we went out. This was not a problem for us as we had found a hostel across the road serving great breakfasts.

We loved the location! It was easy walking distance to Gion District and Nishiki Market. The staff was amazing. They were courteous, helpful, and incredibly kind. I travel often and am fortunate to stay in very nice hotels due to my work and extensive travel. We had a room in Tokyo for the week as a home base hotel and stayed a night in Kyoto thus selecting Hotel Traveltine. We knew we were not staying at the Ritz and this would be a 3*/Courtyard Marriott vibe. The price for the hotel was unbeatable and it was clean with wonderful service. I would recommend it to any of my friends traveling.
The only thing that comes to mind is that one of our towels was old. To clarify, it was not dirty. However, it had old towel smell and should have been retired. The rest of the towels were in great condition.

We had a great stay at Travel Time Kyoto. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the price was reasonable. We loved the modern decor and the convenient washing machine with a secure lock feature. Overall, we were very happy with our experience, thanks to the wonderful staff and the hotel’s new, stylish atmosphere.
The only downside was the breakfast options; it was very limited with just croissants, chocolate bread, matcha bread, coffee and tea .. which you could take back to your room. The room itself was a bit tight for 2 suitcases, but we managed.
