Amenities were amazing including some drinks in fridge. Beds were very comfortable and huge, and room was larger than others we had stayed in. It was very close to station and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The area was relatively quiet yet close to everything. There was a view of mountains from our room. We stayed 4 nights and were very pleased we booked this hotel. Best we stayed in during our time in Japan as well as being the least expensive. It was fantastic value.

This hotel was amazing! The proximity to the train is really nice and there is a ton of walkable restaurants and other places to go to. The staff was incredible. We notified them about our late arrival and had no issues as well as let us store our luggage there for free for a couple of days after we checked out and headed up to the Shiga Kogen Ski area. The room was very nice and they offered a variety of amenities in the room which I enjoyed. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Very clean hotel, modern room, great view of the mountains. Amazing breakfast at the top floor restaurant, serving ice cream, local delicacies and fresh smoothies. Very quiet and safe area. Room cleaning is top. 10 min walk from Nagano station, close to restaurants and Zencoji castle.

Due to the relatively small size of the restaurant, each room is allocated a time slot. Ours was 9 to 9:30. I would have preferred an earlier one, but no choice was given. Rooms are small and it is difficult to get 2 single beds.

The room was very spacious by Japanese standards, well equipped and comfortable. If you step out of the hotel you can immediately see the Zenkō-ji Temple in the distance, which is an absolute must see! 7 minutes by foot and you get to the station. Many restaurants and shops in the area and a bus station is very close. We chose this hotel as our base to go see the Snow Monkey Park and we even took a side trip to Matsumoto. Laundry Room is very well equipped, you can even read manga while waiting at a table for your laundry to finish. Staff was super friendly and helpful, we would definitely come back here again for a Nagano visit.

The key is rather chunky and takes some space in your pockets if you only have a fanny pack on you to store things.

Room was way more than I was expecting, stayed for one night, wish I could've stayed another! Room size was big for Japanese standards with a great view of the city and mountains. There were plenty of amenities (The coffee/tea machine was fun to use!), lots of nice relaxing bathroom treats too, thank you! Shower was great and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The cinnamon rolls and fresh apples were delicious! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!! ありがとうございます!

Wish I could've stayed longer!

Breakfast was excellent - food and view exceptional. Convenient location, easy to find lunch/dinner/shopping and walking distance to the castle and station.

A coffee shop/station that were open 24/7 would have been greatly appreciated. It would have been good to have rooms close together as a family, but since we did not book the same type of room, we understood the reason why it didn't work out that way.

Beds were very comfortable. Room was spacious for a Japanese hotel. Many toiletries and varieties of beverages were provided. Could leave luggage and wait in the foyer prior to checking in. Paid parking was available for our car. Located close to the train station, restaurants and shops.

Cable channels and Netflix did not work.

Great location for the hotel- about 15 minute walk from the station. Close to sightseeing opportunities. Room was comfortable and clean with a nice desk and also a table and chair by the window. View over the mountains was lovely. Very friendly and helpful reception.

The room didn’t have an individual thermostat so room was a little warm however reception spoke to Maintenence when we bought it to their attention.

The. order twin room had space for luggage and a great view over the city and mountains . It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a lovely view from the top floor dining room. The location is handy to the train station and you can walk to most things .

The room had clearly had people smoking in it - although advertised as non- smoking- and you could smell it when the room was shut up. Luckily you could open the window so we did this whenever we were in the room.

It was a convenient location to many areas close by. The breakfast was incredible! The food choices were plentiful, the coffee choices and fruit juices were high quality, and the views of the mountains were a great way to start the day! The room was small, but clean and good use of the space.

The staff didn't really speak any English, but we were still able to communicate with a translation app.
