This hostel was very comfortable and I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. It was very clean and the shared bathroom facilities were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Daily breakfast of toast and jam was really appreciated, along with coffee and tea. It is close to lots of shopping and restaurants and an easy walk or tram ride to major tourist sites in Nagasaki. I was in an air conditioned room with 8 beds, all women. I was glad to get a bottom bunk. There are privacy curtains on each bunk. The bed was comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping. All bedding was provided. I would definitely stay here again. Free wifi was also included.

I didn’t mind that there was no elevator, but I was on the second floor. If you are staying on one of the higher floors, that may be an issue.

Very convenient location. There’s a convenience store across the street. If you like to walk a lot, Chinatown, Dejima, the Dutch Slope, the Confucius Shrine, Glover Garden and Oura Church are around the area! I also walked to the port to ride the ferry to Battleship island and it took me only around 15 minutes. I also like that it’s close to the bus terminal so it’s just one straight shot to and from the airport.

I wasn’t too happy about the luggage storage area because it’s just out in the open. I had a backpack with me and my laptop was inside. Since I don’t have a lock, I couldn’t leave it. I also didn’t like the frosted windows- couldn’t get natural light and see the outside world!

Really lovely little travellers lodge. Clean & comfortable. A great little communal area. where we unintentionally ended up spending quite a bit of time making friends with Japanese travellers. A really memorable experience 🙂

The only downside was the thin walls & doorways. Our room had virtually no soundproofing, so we could hear doors banging and conversations as other guests came in late on a Saturday night. Not great if your a light sleeper, but apart from that it was a real gem.

The location is the best. Right in the middle of town. You can take the airport limousine straight to and from the hostel. The bus stop for that is only 5 mins walk flat path. Close to tram lines. Owner and staff are very nice and kind. Check-in procedure is seemless. Bathroom and toilets are clean. Kitchen is clean. 7-11 directly across the road. Wifi is robust.

Stairs only, if you're carrying heavy luggage it might make you huff. The blanket is a bit short but that's to be expected of all Japanese style accomodations. 6" person like myself, it doesn't cover from head to toe.

A very simple hostel located in Chinatown. I was lucky to come during lunar new years so I got to see all the lanterns on displays. The tram is a 2-3 minute walk. Even though it was a hostel setting, the space you were given was enough to lay out your luggage. They give you two hooks and there are two light switches. Even though there’s no lock to your space, there are curtains which blocks out everyone.

The stairs. My room was in the fourth floor and I was winded every time I came back. Thankfully the staff who was present to check me in helped me bring my stuff upstairs

It's a small Guesthouse with one floor for women and one for men, and the shared space located in Te ground floor Place is clean, well maintained and staff always helpful. Each bed has an additional half square metre so it's handy for placing your small luggage and personal stuff.

I stayed in a bed right next to the windows and there's was street noise coming in during the weekend, but it stopped at around 1am. Nothing that really stopped me for having a sleep afterwards.

The location was great for exploring the town as it was right by a few bus stops. It was very quiet inside (VERY, to the point of being almost too quiet) and clean. The bed size was great with plenty of room to keep my things in my bed area. I appreciated that there were hooks for hanging my stuff up in my bed as well.

It did not have the typical hostel hang out feel; there wasn’t any friendly conversing anywhere.

location is superb, just few minutes walk from Chinatown and bus stop of Nagasaki airport bus . Easy to get food, as 7 eleven and other restaurants are just opposite the road. It's near tourist attractions too. The decor and furnishings are really tasteful, cosy and comfortable, with full cooking facilities. The Staff, Mr. Ite is extremely helpful. Generous provision of bread, butter and jam for breakfast or when we are hungry. The showers are superb and toilets too. We met very friendly and well travelled guests from all over the world here. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse to all our friends and relatives

All the staff are friendly and kind. The facilities are really clean and the rooms give you a lot of privacy for a hostel. Very good location too. I want to give a shoutout to the German girl who checked me in very late and the Japanese staff member who helped me sort out payment

Maybe if there was a rule to turn off the lights in the dorm after a certain time late at night, but it wasn't really an issue at all, not that bright and I still had heaps of privacy.

The location is AMAZING. Brief tram ride from Nagasaki station which has the huge mall, and next to the Shinchi-Chukagai street (Chinatown). Short walk to a Sukiya, convenience store, huge tax-free drugstore, Daiso, a local kaiten sushi restaurant, Animate, the post office, Starbucks, need I go on? You feel like a local living here. Also, as a solo traveler, I got a bunk bed room with a table and that's made a huge difference in terms of space. Super affordable as well.

I don't know if they showed that here, but I only found out there that there are no elevators. The female floor I was on was the second floor, and the staff helped me with my luggage in the beginning, so it wasn't that bad. However, something to keep in mind for male travelers, you might be dealing with third or fourth floors! Walking up flights of stairs for your room after a long day of exploring is no joke.
