This hotel was awesome and we didn't expect it to be. Very new hotel with excellent rooms, quite modern and a delicious breakfast (don't get me started with the champagne on the buffet) Great location as well with a metro station right beneath the building in a very high end area. Great views of the city. You can't beat the price of this hotel, probably the best out of 5 hotels we stayed at in Japan.

So the laundry machines were a bit of a pain, but we were a party of 3, 2 adults and a baby, so we had a lot of clothes and those machines are designed for really light loads. This was fixed by doing a coin laundry run which was close to the hotel.

Absolutely loved this stay. This modern hotel can be reached very conveniently from Sakae station, one of the central transport hubs of Nagoya, directly from the new mall connected to the metro station. I really liked the style of the hotel and the rooms, plus the view is just phenomenal. A clear recommendation if you can spare some extra to get a corner room, as you might get a direct view of Mirai Tower and Oasis 21, besides literally half the city from the comfort of your bed. Service was very good as well, from the vast breakfast buffet to the staff at the reception.

Nothing negative really. Some other reviews find the dark passages to access the lobby on the 24th floor a bit scary, but I really liked this style with dark wood illuminated only by some nicely placed spotlights.

The room facilities and view were amazing. Beautiful bathroom and comfortable beds. The location to Sakae subway station made it very easy to get around. An Australian TV option was a pleasant change from CNN and a bonus at the end of a busy day. Loved our room.

On check-out, we requested a taxi but were told it would be quicker to get one on the street. Unfortunately, it was raining so by the time we found a taxi we and our luggage were soaked through, stressed and almost missed our airport train. This was the only hotel we stayed at in Japan that didn’t assist us with a taxi and was a disappointing end to our stay.

Very new modern style hotel. They play this type of white noise music in the lobby that makes you feel relaxed and the view of nagoya from the 24th floor lobby is spectacular. Being in the chunichi building makes you central to much of what sakae has to offer and it's simple to get back to by taxi because you only need to tell the driver the name of the building. Fortunately I lived in nagoya for a long stretch so the area is familiar but it also gives me the cred to say this is a great location.

Only thing that wasn't good was the beds since it was 2 adults and an 11 year old. Wasn't difficult to fit but a bit uncomfortable because the two mattresses were on a single platform and kept sliding away from each other creating a large space between that things kept falling in and was not comfortable to sleep over.

The location is perfect. It is right above Sakae station exit 13. It is less busy compared to being near Nagoya train station but you can take the Higayashi line to Nagoya (2 stations away) to connect to most other transportation options. Take the airport shuttle and it will take you directly to Sakae station, saving you the trouble and money to connect on different trains. It is also brand new, having only opened in Feb. The hotel lobby is on level 24 and rooms are from level 25 to 32, which means you get an amazing view no matter which floor you are at. The rooms are modern, shower pressure strong and beds are very comfortable!

The other part of the property(retail) is still work in progress, so you cannot cut through the building to get to the hotel entrance which is behind the building, but it will be ready by 23 April 24! There is only 1 cafe and 1 Chinese restaurant in the hotel, so you need to go outside for more food choices.

I had a wonderful stay at The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Nagoya. The hotel offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the city. - Convenient location next to Sakae subway station (exit 13). Need to take the elevator to reception at 24th floor and another one to the rooms on the higher floor. Taking 2 elevators to reach our room and go back down wasn't a bother for me. - Amazing interior design, full of craftmanship stories. - The rooms were large with a high city view. Beds and pillows are really comfy. - Staffs were polite and helpful. Good English, able to communicate clearly.

- The elevator lighting and room hallway were really dark. If the hotel can make it brighter, it'd be a lot better.

We stayed with several other families who booked the same hotel. We all agreed that this was one of the best hotels we have every stayed in. The ambiance of the hotel makes you feel like you are in a very high-end expensive hotel. The price was right for this stay! The hotel is within walking distance to shopping areas, food & dining and things to do. The staff is welcoming and the cleaners took great care of the room. I highly recommend this and would absolutely stay again!

the room light needs to be bright. Staff manpower insufficient, so it takes time to complete our requested. We have a drink in 24/f lounge, the checkout bill takes a lot to time to verify our identity,

The hotel’s location is excellent and close to subway station. However, finding the entrance for the first time might not be straightforward because it is inside a multi-story building that houses various activities, mostly restaurants and cafes.

The process of accessing the room involves three stages: first, entering the main building; then taking an elevator to the hotel reception; and finally, using another elevator to reach the rooms.
