Very clean and feels new-ish. Close to convenient stores. I would definitely stay at the hotel again if I am traveling with company.

It was not close to the railway station although it was two stops away on the subway. So it means dragging my little suitcase for 5 minutes on the road. Also couldn't locate the elevator so had to carry my suitcase down many steps

This is a Travelodge so you get what you expect (which is a lot better than a Travelodge in the UK). Stayed a couple of nights for a visit to Ghibli park and it was ideal for this. Easy access to central Nagoya for food and wandering the streets, and ready access to the park and train station.

- friendly staff at check-in who also spoke English - room was spacious and had a seating corner - spacious bathroom with walk-in shower - extra bathroom amenities available at front desk - in central area of Nagoya, within 15min of public transportation (bus and subway)

- no towel exchange at door, instead need to bring towels to front desk to exchange which is a bit weird - did find hair in room that wasn't ours, as well as dust pileup here and there (I have allergies), also the blind had been damaged -bathroom door is partially see-through (frosted sticker) - surrounding area is a nightlife district, so keep that in mind...

Location was close to several train stations within walking distance. Hotel was nice and clean and out of several hotels I've stayed at during my trip, the bed and pillow was most likely one of the best in comfort and size (booked a queen bed room). Loved that the room included an air purifier, which I was happy about.

There wasn't enough walking space and luggage space as we had to open our suitcases in different parts of the room like on the sitting area or the narrow hallway or the bed; both suitcases cannot be opened in one place as you would not be able to walk around them. Wish the amenities were included in the room rather than in the lounge area of the hotel near check-in as you would have to go down to the first floor to get what you need if you forgot something.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Best of all the hotels we stayed in during our 3 week trip. Surprisingly big room and beds were big enough for two adults, a six year old and a 2 year old. Staff was extremely nice - we arrived with very tired kids half an hour before check in time and they allowed us to check in ASAP. We didn't expect or demand that and were extremely grateful! Breakfast did not have a huge variety but sufficient and tasty for us. Cosy pyjamas. Modern bathroom with nice shower. Blackout jalousie - great for travelling with kids because the rooms get really dark.

Really pleased with our stay at Travelodge Nagoya Sakae and as first time visiting Nagoya feel we lucked out. I did check the reviews and pictures on Booking.com before making a final decision. Travelodge in UK not to the same standard as this Travelodge, which was just more funky and a really pleasurable stay. The room was small, but fine, everything there you could need, the staff were charming and excellent service throughout. No problem with noise inside or out. The area around this Travelodge was bustling and interesting.

It had a full bathroom where the shower was full sized no tub or molded cube. The dining area was open to be used after the breakfast was finished being served and cleaned away for 10am ro 22:00 hours. So it was good to use to eat your own lunch or dinner. Or just to sit and converse. The bed though not a double was comfortable. Good laundry facilities near the dining area. Instant coffee was available but one had to make it in their room. The breakfast had a good variety of food items. It was close some attractions as long google maps was functioning properly or one was able to read certain nearby land marks. Overall my experience at the Travelodge was excellent no main issues.

It was further from the Nagoya Station then expected. Google maps does not give a fully correct idea off the walking time and distance to the hotel from Nagoya station. Walking takes approx 1 hour.

Our family especially liked the breakfast spread and the drinks from the social room. Beds were comfy and the hotel is near a lot of train stations. The bus stop coming to and from the airport is conviniently located near the hotel too. We'll definitely book this hotel again for our next trip to Nagoya. .

Housekeeping is only done once per 4 days and you need to buy laundry detergent from the front desk if you need to do your laundry. It's not too bad though.

Staff at the front desk are helpful and I loved that the hotel has luggage delivery. When we're in Nagoya, we always stay at this hotel, it's centrally located. It's a few blocks away from Nagoya Tower, Sakae district, don quixote, train station and even the airport limousine bus stop is a few blocks away. There's also a lawsons and family mart nearby and an amazing bakery around the corner. They have coin laundry and free drinks as well throughout your stay (except of course when the common area is closed at 9/10pm -can't recall exactly what time it closes.

Hoping they have an ice maker available and also hoping that coffee will be included in the free drinks for hotel guests (they only have cold sodas and juices available).

1. Location: It is reasonable close to the subway station (5-10 minutes walking distance) and the main shopping area, Sakae, (10-15 minutes walking distance.) There is a convenience store (Lawson) across the street. 2. Facilities: There is a luggage scale in the lobby, a microwave next to the elevator, a coffee machine and soft drink dispenser in the social area on the second floor. 3. Room: The stable hot water in the shower room was impressive! Room is small but cozy.

Just one minor thing: The hotel provides complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste packs, but the size of the toothpaste is very tiny. I ran out of toothpaste on the second day and had to ask for the whole set again. Felt it’s a bit wasteful as I got 4 toothbrushes for the 4-night stay.
