Location was incredible, just minutes from the Yodoyabashi Station on the Midosuji Osaka subway line, making for quick and easy access to Namba/Shinsaibashi areas for food and shopping and Umeda/Osaka/JR and Shin-Osaka train stations. Staff were so warm and helpful. They made a few phone calls for me where Japanese langauge was needed and executed on the requests flawlessly and cheerfully. Housekeeping was readily available daily but not insistent so on many days of our 6-day stay, we declined it but the hotel hung a bag of fresh towels and water on our doorknob so we could access fresh supplies without disturbance. Room was not fancy but appointed in a clean and efficient way. The area is a financial/business area with office buildings so there were many restaurant options nearby of different price points and all patronized mostly by local office workers. A couple of the smaller restaurants did not seem to want foreign tourists but other places were welcoming.

My only complaint is that the bed was not very comfortable. Mattress was hard and spring coils could be felt somewhat. Plus the pillows were feather and smushed too much so that they became hard and were not fluffy at all.

What a beautiful hotel, this hotel was pure class. It really did feel like a small boutique hotel. The air conditioning worked well. My husband loved the shower pressure. Pillows were great and bed comfortable (a wee bit firmer than my one at home) but still okay. The location was fabulous, with plenty of great food options close by. The area of Dotonbori (great shopping and nightlife) was within an easy 30-minute walk. We easily did this walk back to the hotel at night after dinner and a look around we felt totally safe. The drip filter coffee sachets, what a great invention, I hadn't seen before we stayed in hotel in Japan. And they acutally make a nice cup of coffee.

Having to climb into the bath to shower, but I am short and baths are deep, so wouldn't be a problem for all. Only had green tea as an option, thankfully I bring my own earl grey tea when traveling, but would have been nice to have a couple of different options. Our last hotel had 3 tea options - green, earl grey and darjeeling

Nice clean hotel. Good location - close to two subway stations, Dotonbori is within a walkable distance. Staff was helpful. Room cleaning is every 3 days, so we didn't get it, however we'd get new towels and amenities every day. There is a small onsen, which is a nice touch, though it would get crowded in the evenings, and a bit loud. Breakfast was good, lots of local and western options, and they change it up a bit each day.

Breakfast ends very early, you have to be in the restaurant by 9:30. Room is quite small, cramped, not as comfortable as in Resol Trinity Kyoto. Given the price we paid, I'd say there are other options with a better price and quality ratio.

The breakfast was amazing. It was the perfect beginning for our trip, and it was the best breakfast overall in the entire trip. HIGHLY recommend it, if you were considering whether or not to pick it or not. The location was great, it was a few minutes walk from two different train stations. Also, there's a family mart 2 or 3 minutes away, so it was very convenient. The bathtub was great, it was nice to relax in it after every night. The showerhead felt like it was giving you a massage, so no worries about water pressure!

The space was small, so two people opening up their suitcase isn't ideal. But it's not bad, considering all we really wanted was a place to lie our heads down. I would still stay again!

It was our first trip to Japan, and Osaka was our last stop. We've stayed at several hotels, and none have matched the excellence of this one. The location was ideal, near the train station. The breakfast was amazing the best we've had in Japan! It was designed for people with diverse tastes and demands. Staff are fantastic and extremely helpful with all of our requirements, whether we ask for ideas on where to have dinner or shop, or if we need to book a taxi. We stayed in Osaka for three nights and did not want our room cleaned, therefore this hotel provided excellent service by putting clean towels and a bottle of water at our door. We had great experience!

Great location, classy hotel, typical smaller rooms for price and city, helpful staff, clean

No air purifier or humidifier. We were provided a humidifier when we asked the front desk. This should be standard in the room especially when air quality in Osaka isn't always great. The room seemed quite dusty too, clean overall but plenty of dust in the air was noticed, dust on cups, dust on the bed head and in the hallways (see it under the lights floating). This needs to be sorted out as both me and my partner reacted to this dust with dry cough, sneezing when in the hotel. Not sure if its just our room, but the corridors were the same. Other hotels in Japan provide air purifiers as standard for this price and we had no issues there.

We like it’s boutique style. Their buffet breakfast was by far one of the best, well curated and different to your standard offerings. The hotel also has an a nice onsen for both females and males which is a welcome end to a long day of exploring the city and open till late. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a nice size with great amenities and comfortable fixtures. We loved the location as it’s private, quiet but still central. The price was also great when comparing to other hotels. We will be back.

It would have been nice if the room had an iron.

This hotel has a really nice look and feel to it. The staff were lovely and the facilities the hotel has are great (including a public bath). The rooms were well decorated and an alright size. The location isn't particularly central to a lot of the main tourist areas in Osaka, but realistically it was hard to get a quick underground train or even walk for about 30 minutes. There are some nice restaurants about too.

The only real downside I can think of is that our room's view was that of the side of another building. But that's to be expected and we hadn't chosen a room with a view or particularly required one.

Room was much larger than anticipated, with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. The location was in more of the city district as opposed to where all the tourist action is but there were lots of great places to eat and drink right on the door step and close to the metro. Onsen was nice for inner city.

I’m being picky- Onsen didn’t supply towels which would have been great. We found ourselves on the metro a lot to go and see the sites. Otherwise it was a very comfortable stay.

Had the first part of our honeymoon here. Absolute gem of a hotel if you are looking for a good place to stay while you are out exploring the city and Japan the whole day. Very clean and comfortable rooms, very welcoming and kind staff, great atmosphere. Everybody and everything was amazing, my wife loved the onsen especially, it was her first onsen experience that she will cherish for the rest of our lives. Amazing breakfast. Amazing location (Yodoyabashi station is 5-6 minutes on foot + 7-eleven is also nearby). Amazing atmosphere overall. We will forever consider this place as one of the best hotels we have ever stayed, it will always be close to our hearts. We wish the hotel and the staff good luck and prosperity in the future.
