Rooms are not soundproof...next door neighbors can be heard...

If you just need an inexpensive but clean safe place to sleep, this is it. The rooms are very small. If you get a single room with a twin bed, there isn't room to open your suitcase. I made sure I get a room with a set of Futon mattress so I can roll up the futon and have a floor space to spread my belongings. Bring your own bath towel. They'd sell you one for 300 yen but it's rather small and not absorbing like a typical new towl. The shared spaces are clean and pleasant. If you don't mind a dorm type accommodation, it's a very good place. A great location. 1 min to a subway station, 2 min to a JR station, 5 min to a Nankai station.

Very good Location, Shin-Sekai is a 5 min walk away and a Metro-Station 1min and the JR-Loopline 5 min. Clean an friendly Staff. Free mini Towel and Toothbrush with Toothpaste on arrival

The Bath is just for men, It woukd be goot if that could change from Day to day. The Pilow was just a Sack of plastic Tubes (probably the most hygienic solution). The Walls and Doors have no Insulation, if you are sensitiv to noise it is nothing for you. But they Offer free Earplugs aswell

It was my second time staying here. Aside from the great price/value of the rooms, the location of Hotel Sunplaza 2 is very convenient, so I always try to book my stay here whenever I go to Osaka. The nearest station Shin-Imamiya is only about a 5 minute walk and there are Family Mart convenience stores nearby too. Since we stayed during halloween season, the staff gave us free treats (sweets and snacks) to try. Showers are 24/7. There are 3 shower rooms in the female section, and toiletries and hairdryers are included.

The hotel only provides a very small towel, so I usually bring my own towel.

Near Dobutsuen Mae (Osaka Metro) station and Shin Imamiya (JR) station. The cheapest hotel i ever stayed in Japan. It has pantry complete with kitchen, microwave, water dispenser (so no need to buy drinking water) and ice dispenser. Shower is located at 1F (lobby).

The room is very small. Luckily I just bring 2 backpacks. May not suitable if you have lots of luggage. Elevator is facing the main entrance,so it is quite improper when you want to go shower or coming back from shower. However, overall I am satisfied and worth the price.

Great location right by Tennoji park, many interesting shopping and dining areas around the hotel. There's a street to the east of the hotel that heads south that's full of karaoke bars too. Clean hotel with free hot drinks at any time down in the lobby.

The free towels provided are basically hand towels made of gauze so bring your own. Rooms have no soundproofing whatsoever so you can hear pretty much anyone talking above a whisper anywhere on your floor.

Staff could provide instructions in the language you know - English for this booking. Clear navigation of the facilities. During our stay, it was quiet but ear plugs are provided if you need them because the walls can get a bit thin. Sound wasn't an issue at all during the stay. 1 lift for the building - lift comes quite fast.

Note that shower is on first floor. We stayed at 6th I think. Water/Drinks are on the first floor too. Had to walk a little from the station from the directions we got from Gmaps - getting there from the airport. The aircon was super weird. It would blast cold air for say 30 seconds and seem to stop functioning or be on sleep mode and after a good 10 mins or something blast another shot of cold air and be back on sleep mode. Was disruptive to sleep tbh. But could just be us who don't know how to operate the remote.

The hotel has a great location, just a few minutes walk to the Shin-Imamiya JR station (part of Osaka loop line) and closer to Dobutsuen Mae station. The room is spacious and has its own fridge. The shared toilets are on every floor and the shared showers (for male and female) are located at the first floor. Easy check-in, building access, and check out. Instructions and guide are simple and straightforward.

There are small towels and toiletries provided but bath towels are not provided. They can be bought inside the hotel or convenience stores. There is only a bath house for males.

Location was convenient near to Dobutsuen-mae metro and Shin-Imamiya JR stations. Great short stay for resting with comfortable and quiet neighborhood. There is also a kitchen area in separate floors (1F, 2F, 3F, 7F, and 9F) for heating / cooking meals. There is also a code for hotel access a night for added security.

Shower location is at first floor near lobby area. It might be seen as inconvenient or lacking privacy for some people. Also there is only a male bath house (onsen) available morning and late afternoon to evening.

The place is clean compared to location and price. Clean makeup room for ladies and Dyson hair dryer is cool. Staff are really really really nice allow me to check-in early and late bag pick up.

Extra thin wall so you can hear other guests talking, snoring, slamming the door all night even ear plugs can’t help. And super strong cigarette smell in elevator.
