The hotel is located just under 5 min walk from the Sapporo station so it is extremely convenient in terms of moving around for since we made day trips throughout the time we were there. Make sure you get a JR pass as it saves a lot of money, and I would recommend getting the free reserved seats (which can be arranged at any station) for the longer trips. It is also within convenient reach of the New Chitose Airport via the train system (use Rapid service). The rooms are small but very comfortable. Breakfast has a range of basic items like bread and rolls, hard boiled eggs, juices, milk (must try the Hokkaido milk!), and yoghurt. For the price we paid during our stay, the 'total package' was real value for money. There is also quite a bit to see within walking distance like the Odori Park, Clock Tower and even Museum. Quite a number of nice restaurants also within walking distance.

Not so much not liking but just being prepared to manage your daily clothing and packing. There were no cupboards in our room (probably because of the size of the room) but we were able to get around it by using our luggage as 'cupboards'. Just needs a little getting used to. Soe space is available for hanging your jackets and stuff.

Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Serving time starting from 6:30 am was convenient for me since I started my day trip early in the morning. Location is excellent. It took me only five minutes to walk to the Sapporo train and bus stations. Staffs were nice, friendly and helpful. Ms. Tokuta helped me secure a reservation at the only Michelin three-star French restaurant in Sapporo, Moliere. Without her assistance, I wouldn't have such a great dining experience. I had stayed a total of nine nights and was very satisfied with the JR Inn. If I visit Sapporo again, JR Inn in Sapporo station will be my first choice.

It is right next to the new Shinkanshan construction and existing railways. If one is really sensative to noise, it could be a problem. Every room does have a sliding door to cover the entire window and reduce negative impacts from train and construction noise.

This was our second stay at this hotel, primarily due to its excellent location near Sapporo Station. Just like our previous visit, we had an enjoyable experience. The bed was as comfortable as we remembered, ensuring a good night’s rest. The hotel also provides breakfast for all guests—while the offerings are fairly standard, the food is delicious and satisfying.

There was ongoing construction in front of the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, it seems the hotel hasn’t undergone any significant updates in the past seven years, as the furniture appears quite outdated.

Literally 2 mins walk to Sapporo station and Daimaru. The hotel also offers a pillow library at reception, just choose the one(s) you want! A range is free amenities in reception and you can also borrow an umbrella! Plenty of shops and restaurants, daimaru food hall is incredible! The room was big enough for one person, clean, comfortable. I would recommend

It was hard to find and google maps sent me in wrong direction I went right around the block with my suitcase but it was only across the road. Maybe add a note to the post, when you come out of JR station main entrance, the hotel is on the right and behind you.

Superb location which is very near to Sapporo station and convenience stores/malls. You can get extra pillows in the lobby. Has a laundry area and appliances available. Staffs are very nice and accommodating. Easy checkout.

The staff are really helpful and some of them can speak a bit of English. They always greet you with a smile whenever passing by and would go out of their way to help. The hotel is close to Sapporo Station about 8-min walk.

I like the size of the room but the bathroom shower space is a bit small for a petite Asian like me. Breakfast options are the same for the entire duration of my stay (diff kinds bread, boiled egg, potato salad, soup, yogurt, and drinks).

The breakfast is the same everyday but it has protein, vitamin and everything you need for a morning so little to complain. The staff is polite and the room is incredibly clean. It's very close to the Plaza Hotel, the venue where we had a meeting. The room is small but I guess it's typcial Japanese hotel and it has basically everything one needs.

It would be better to prompt customers different payment methods, especially upon arrival. I only discovered I could pay by WeChat afterwards. The staff's English is not proficient but they use software to help with communication. That's kind of fun.

Hotel 5 minute walk from Sapporo station and well located to visit all of the tourist attractions in Central Sapporo. The bedroom was on the compact side, but comfortable and perfectly adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was hot and cold food available at breakfast time. The food was plentiful and continually being restocked by the staff. The hotel was good value for money and I would have no hesitation of staying there on any future visit.

I could find no fault with either the hotel or the performance of the staff.

Amazing location in a quiet area - close enough to Sapporo station with a convenience store just across the hotel as well as a Starbucks/Kinokuniya for all books lovers. Room and bathroom more spacious than usual, everything was clean. There's a complimentary breakfast until 9.30 on the ground floor with selected items (but delicious regardless). Staff is very courteous and will greet you when you come back and leave the hotel. Within walking distance to Odori Park and underground shopping. Rokkatei Sapporo Main store also just on the next street, great for snacks/souvenirs. Recommended!

Location - 5min walk away from JR Sapporo. There's Daimaru and Kinokuniya and convenience stores next to the hotel, which are very accessible and convenient! Space - sufficient for us. Space was a bit tight for 1 medium +1 large luggage, but we could manage. Bed - firmness was just right. There is a pillow lounge with a wide selection of firmness at the lobby. Toilet - water pressure for showering is great! Love it! Other amenities - we used the coin washer (¥200 per wash) and dryer (¥100 for 30min). It was convenient. Just remember to pick a time with fewer users and be considerate (collect ur laundry on time. Otherwise, the reception would have to safe keep for u). There is no phone in the hotel to let us call out when we want to call the airline for enquiry. Staff - very friendly and helpful. They greeted all the guests who passed by. A lady (sorry we forgot her name) very kindly gave us some advice when our flight to Tokyo was cancelled due to typhoon. We appreciated it very much. We stayed a total of 4 nights, and it was a pleasant and comfortable space.
