The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to the Keikyū Airport Line (light blue line), making the journey from the airport quick (< 40 mins) and straightforward. Shinjuku is just a 20-minute ride away via the Chūō-Sōbu Line (yellow line), Yamanote line is reachable through Akihabara Station (about 15 mins walk) and the Asakusa area is easily reachable on foot in about 30 minutes—perfect for early morning walks to Senso-ji Temple. The staff were exceptionally polite, spoke perfect English, and always ready to help. There are several kombinis, restaurants and bars just a few steps away, adding to the overall convenience. Also, the room was properly soundproofed and was cleaned every 3 days.

The room size, while fine for a solo traveler, might be a bit cramped for two people and reminded me of my university dorm days. Additionally, I found it odd that the A/C and lights stayed on even after removing the room key card.

It’s really well located, easy to reach from both airports with direct trains. The rooms are standard Tokyo size but the bed is quite large and very comfortable. The room has a good bathroom, fridge, large tv, hairdryer. The staff is really nice and you can store your luggage for the whole day on your check-out day. For long staying guests, the room is cleaned and the bed sheets are changed every three days. They provide clean towels daily.

The rooms don’t have any safety box. Instead of providing clean towels everyday by leaving a bag in front of each room, I would recommend offering new towels only upon request. I don’t need to have new towels everyday and I kept accumulating towel bags in my room which I didn’t need.

The hotel is located just behind the Asakasabashi station on both the metro and JR lines so it is super convenient to anywhere in Tokyo. The station is a smaller one so the walk to exit the station was always short. It’s also in a more “local” neighbourhood and there are many small local eateries in the area and a 7-11 between the station and hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful; their English was very good. The hotel also has a coin laundry so that was convenient as well. Also I thought I would get a single bed because I booked a single room, but was pleasantly surprised to have a double bed - made the week-long stay much more comfortable.

The room is very small. I travel carry-on only and was barely able to find a desk space to open my suitcase - have no idea how people with large suitcases would find room for anything. That said, the space is functional and had everything I needed, including workspace and a kettle. Also, the coin laundry is next to reception on the first floor so it was a little awkward to be walking around in main reception with my laundry.

This is my go-to affordable hotel that I always think of when I visit Tokyo. Good location (JR and Metro train both within 5 minutes walk to hotel. Several convenience stores nearby, and lots of restaurants and bars), staff are courteous and communicate well in English, hotel and rooms are clean.

It would be more accurate if the description of the size of rooms showed the difference in real life. As I have stayed here before, I've been in the bigger room which is as advertised and some rooms are smaller or typical room size in Tokyo which was not indicated. Other than that, this hotel is great!

This is the first time we stayed at APA, and will definitely be back! They have really thought of everything and squeezed it into a tiny package; if these amenities were provided in North America, it would only be a in super luxury hotel. The location was great- in a neighborhood with lots of shops and right around the corner from the metro/train to Narita. It was both quiet and busy. I appreciated little things like a quick elevator, openable window, shelf by the bed, blackout blind, info on the tv, and being able to turn the lights off in bed. The space is well organized and there was enough space for all of our things. Staff were great and service was excellent.

Nothing. For some people, the room and bed may be considered small.

Very convenient location - near the station Asakusabashi (jr line and metro line together), many convenient stores (7/11, family mart), a 10 minute walk to Akihabara, 25 minute walk to Senso ji temple. Strait route for 40 minutes to the airport Haneda by the train. The room is not so tiny as it may seem. Everything you need is there. Comfy bed, air conditioned, tv, WiFi and so on. And it is very quiet there. In the evening you can eat at many nearby little restaurants. The stuff is very nice. And you can check out in early mornings by yourself at the stand.

Everything was ok.

Wonderful room with a big bed and best view on Tokyo Skytree. Very kind and helpful staff that made me feel at home. Conveniently situated hotel very close to a train and metro station so every part of Tokyo was easily accessible. Lovely neighborhood with a shrine, lots of Konbini and places to eat. Sumida and Kanda River in the vicinity make it a special little corner in Tokyo you are happy to retreat to after a long day of exploring the biggest city on earth. I am so thankful and can't wait to come again.

Very central place only like 5 minute walk from Asakusabashi station. Close to the central street with all nice restaurants. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Strange mention but the showerhead was sooo nice it had this soft spray function I love. Oh and I also got a welcoming gift and I thought that was very cute. A very good hotel chain!

It isn’t necessary something thats bad, it’s just a different culture. I felt very watched because I got greeted every single time I entered or left. Also when I was going to do my laundrey everytime I had to pass the counter I was greeted. Made me a little uncomfortable as someone that comes from a culture where one greeting is the norm. Haha but that’s minor, thats a me problem. The staff is very kind and helpful though!

Breakfast was Japanese style no european breakfast available. Nevertheless the hotel is sited amongst many cafes that serve good food at affordable prices. The hotel is sited 2 minutes walk from Asakusabashi station on the airport line giving easy access to both Narita and Haneda airports. A large variety of good outlets at very affordable prices and variety.

Communicating with hotel staff was sometimes difficult as little English was spoken. But having said this there are many translating apps available.

Perfect location as a base for exploring Tokyo with two rail lines they run North/South and East/West. That means a direct subway line to Haneda (and even Narita) and other key points of interest in Tokyo. It's an easy stroll to Akihabara and Ryogoku. Great for avoiding fellow tourists when you've had enough. Right on the doorstep of the hotel are numerous local restaurants and drinking spots serving all variety of cuisine. It smells amazing every evening!

There's still a lot of plastic packaging and single use items being employed by the hotel.
