I stayed a week with Hotel Tomos and wish I could have stayed longer! I will miss the warm and friendly staff, who greeted me each morning and night, answering all my questions (the WhatsApp communication was so easy!) and entertaining my need to journal my travels by giving me some cherished mementos to put into my traveller's notebook. I was lucky enough to enjoy the most beautiful view of the Tokyo Skytree by myself and with a friend from the rooftop. The hotel is beautifully designed around the concept of Shadows, making Hotel Tomos the most comfortable and relaxing stay I've ever experienced in all my travels.

I do recommend looking for a coin laundry outside of the hotel as the one provided is often in high demand by other patrons. The staff were especially supportive in letting me know when it was available and for changing a note into coins, but it will be easier to do your laundry elsewhere if you have a rather inflexible schedule to adhere to.

This small hotel is fantastic. Everything was great and spotless, and the beds are very comfortable. We also had a small balcony, perfect for relaxing, and the neighborhood is relatively quiet. There's a rooftop with a stunning view of the Tokyo Sky Tree. Perfect Location : near the Metro, Tokyo Sky Tree and Sensō-ji Temple. The staff is incredibly kind and professional; they helped us with many things. I've never encountered such kind staff. Truly incredible. There wasn't anything we didn't enjoy, everything was really nice and perfect ! However, it can be a bit challenging to do your makeup in front of the bathroom mirror because the lighting isn't bright enough. But you can do your makeup in the living area by drawing the curtains to let in more light. I highly recommend this place! I would gladly return !

We were pleasantly surprised to see that each floor only has one suite, so it was very quiet and very large even for our group of 6! Plenty of floorspace for our luggage, immaculate and comfortable with excellent amenities, wonderful views from the balcony and the rooftop area was amazing! Staff were honestly so warm and welcoming, Hotel Tomos is in the perfect spot in Asakusa, close to Tokyo Skytree, Sensoji Temple, Asakusa station, plus many restaurants and cafes. Staff had plenty of recommendations on hand also. Our family loved the calm and quiet of Hotel Tomos.

The staff are extremely helpful. We wanted to dry our clothes at 12am but the clothes dryer were occupied. The staff helped managing this and we can see our dried clothes outside our door the next morning. This was impressing. I'm surprised there're 3 staff at the reception during the busy hours (check out time). All of them speak good English.

The room is smaller than expected. There's no door or curtain outside the show room so it's a bit embarrassed to pick up your clothes after bathing, and the floor can easily get wet.

Fantastic hotel, located 10 minutes away from the Asakusa metro station and therefore near everything but in a quiet part of town. Rooms are small as it’s the standard in Japan but don’t feel cramped, it has a great terrace and lounge on the tenth floor which considering it has only 1-2 rooms per floor you may have for yourself most times, but the best of everything is the people working there, super helpful and super nice, they arranged for us luggage transfers and restaurant bookings with the nicest smile. I’d stay here again without a doubt

The location for this place is amazing if you are heading for Haneda Airport. There is a bus stop that takes you directly to the train station right at the doorstep. The staff is very welcoming and extremely helpful, we had delivery issues with our luggage being delivered and they went above and beyond in helping us. I would stay here again. roof top is very cute. The toiletries in the bathroom smelled amazing. Beds were comfortable.

We were on the first floor and found it a bit noisy if the windows were open. Toilet was small.

I made a good decision staying at this hotel! It’s conveniently close to the train station for ginza and asakusa line with a approx 10 minute walk. This location is peaceful and not as busy as shibuya or ginza. The hotel also has a 7 Eleven on the opposite side of the road which is very handy for snacks and drinks. The room is pretty big and spacious with all the amenities you’d need. There is a communal area and a roof top with a beautiful view. What made our experience even better was the friendly staff (shout out to Go and Ninima I believe 😅) they were so helpful and never failed to offer to assist in any way. Always a smile on their face! Thank you for everything!

The staff is very welcoming and nice. The hotel offers many additional experiences (like a lesson with a tea master, which was very interesting). There is the possibility to do laundry on location, which is very convenient, and the staff was able to easily arrange the delivery of the luggages to our following hotel, which was also great. Very recommended for short and long stays in Tokyo.

The room is very nicely furnished following traditional/modern architecture. Though it has to be said that it was maybe a bit small and, additionally, the sink was not in the bathroom, but in the room, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The room and toilet are really spacious and beautifully decorated, just like what u see on the website! The bed is super comfortable, firm enough yet still soft and I like that their pillows are not the super soft type that becomes flat after u lie down. Aircon works well and they even have a dyson fan to help circulate air around! TV entertainment is great because they have Netflix, YouTube, prime videos, Disney plus, etc. Location is near the river and about 15 mins walking distance to sky tree and 10 mins to Tobu & Ginza line, with a 7-11 just across the hotel, its great! For family with young kids, u might wanna bring a white noise machine along cause u do hear ambulance quite often even at night but it didn’t really bother us much:) Lobby serves free tea and coffee and also has a microwave for you to heat up food. There is also a coin-operated laundry room at the lobby, which makes washing laundry so easy. Wifi in hotel room works great too. Lastly, the service from the team was great and everyone was so friendly and helpful, really made us feel at home. Always cheerful and ready to help, GO-san and his team made our trip very memorable and we would love to go back next time!

The toilet door has no lock so do take note! The only thing I can nitpicked is that perhaps vacuuming of the carpeted floors can be done more thoroughly. But I’m sure if u raise it up to the team, they will be more than happy to do it for u upon request.

Tomos is a boutique hotel with just two rooms per floor. We loved the balcony and ability to have an air circulation in the room! The toilet was excellent, shower strong, deds were comfortable (we were a couple with a 11 y old - so bed plus sofa bed). Free coffee and tea and water refills is a bonus. The area around - sumida park is great for a stroll along the river. Subway is a 10 min walk which we did not mind and 7/11 is just across. We liked Asakusa for its serenity and lack of crowd. Ofcourse sensoji is a gem and it is just five mins away. The roof is a must visit for its views.
