The rooms were spacious for Japan. The hotel/hostel itself was modern and clean. Has great facilities such as kitchenette and washing machine and dryer. Vending machines and pool table. Great facilities to room as well. Love the location as so close to the temple, markets and train station.

We had a private room on Level 2. It was great however it was on the same floor as 1 other private room and 2 spas and the laundry and kitchenette. This was a big negative considering we found such an awesome place that has everything to offer. There should be no rooms on the same floor as the common area that shares walls with these spaces. The accomodation does not have a curfew or signage up to say people cannot use these facilities past 11 or 12, therefore we heard banging and voices to 2am in the morning every night. It was my only negative otherwise I would give it a 10/10. This should be advertised in advance if you have this room. I did complain as well and staff said they would put up signage and no signage was put up.

Clean, modern, pretty spacious, and great staff. Free onsen too, so take advantage of that!

Bedroom light could not be turned off, even after asking staff. I don't know why they have this policy of keeping the lights on through the night, but it made sleeping a bit difficult. Dining room was in the same room as the laundry, resulting in a humid atmosphere.

Location, about 5 minutes' walk from Asakusa Station. Plenty of eateries, very close to Asakusa's main attractions such as Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise, as well as river cruise. Starbucks is 2 minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is super comfortable and value for money, knowing Tokyo's cost of living and expenditure. Front desk staff might require a bit of exposure on "how to be a front desk staff" training kind of thing. Noticed that they're not as friendlier as other places that I visited, nevertheless they had never been rude. Room was clean, despite some stains here and there on the carpet, which I noticed few reviews pointed out on the same subject. A decent size room for myself and spouse, while the other room for our children slightly larger to accommodate 3 of them. We love the bathroom, with all amenities provided. Our bed was so comfy and despite the room size, we spent most of our times exploring the cities hence it is a decent place for a good sleep at night.

I loved how quiet it was in the sleeping area. I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels while in Japan and this one had a great culture of people really respecting the sleeping area. The location was great! Close to the train station and the markets! The spa in the women’s bathroom was incredible after long days of walking !!

It took me a night to get used to the shared female showers but honestly it’s not a big deal. Im just not used to it - but I felt safe and comfortable with it after the first night.

The hotel is well-located, close to the metro and Asakusa train station. It it situated close to turisitic attractions (SkyTree Tower, the famous temple, small streets with souvenirs), but overall you do not hear the noise as it is at the quite street. Also coin laundry machines and public hot bath are available on the spot. While waiting for your laundry, you can also have one or two pool games:)

The private room was quite small, but clean. It would be great to provide at least one additional towel in private rooms.

The location of this hotel was great. It was close to Sensoji Temple and the Skytree. The room we stayed in had beds instead of having to sleep on futons, which was great since we were still adjusting to the new time zone. We had our own shower and restroom in our room, so we were able to get ready in the morning and evening at our own pace. Staff was friendly and we didn't have any language barrier issues.

The room we stayed in could have 6 people stay in it. We had 4 adult men stay in it and it was perfect size, so having 6 people stay in the room would be tight, especially if they have luggage.

It is a good place to stay. Nice, modern and really close to the metro station and attractions. A lot of food options nearby. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere (really!). I don’t know why there are some negative reviews about this place, it is really nice. Especially for the money they ask. I was expecting much worse…..

It was not VERY clean in the room, but clean enough, I guess

Really comfortable and pleasant capsule rooms in shared dorm. I’d recommend getting the superior room. Very cosy and good amount of space. Bathrooms were great, all stocked with soap and tissues. Very clean. The onsen was a fantastic part of our stay at the hostel - very relaxing before and after days spent out in Tokyo. Would highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for basic accommodation at this price point.

I found the dorms loud with people moving around and sniffing during sleeping hours but the hostel provide earplugs for free. Common space is very basic without soft furniture or socializing.

I love how close this location was to a few of the stations (Asakusa and Ginza line), and also its proximity to Senso-ji. There are tons of restaurants and shops around too. The public bath in this location was very nice also, and soap is provided. There were many alleyways nearby that had just TONS of shops and restaurants (on the Senso-ji side of the street), and there are several locations for kimono rentals (you'll see lots of people doing that!)

Due to how the beds were divided, I didn't have a very good place to place my luggage, since I wasn't at the end of the line of beds, I was sort of in the middle. I ended up keeping some of my bags just at the foot of my bed, but I would have liked to hang them somewhere. Taito-ku is definitely much busier than Sumida-ku across the bridge, so keep that in mind for more touristy areas.
