From my observations, there were more locals than tourists among the guests at the hotel, which was ideal for me, since there was no noise in the hotel. Ideal location. 15 minutes from Shinjuku station and 3 minutes from Shinjuku-gyoemmae station. There are few restaurants and supermarkets in the area. The breakfast was balanced and tasty.

The bed and pillow were killing my back and neck every night, and I don't have any back problems. The breakfast was more Japanese style plus they serve chopsticks rather than forks so for those who don't know how to use chopsticks there may be some problems. The room is quite small, which is ideal for one guest, but for two guests it will be quite cramped.

Convenient place, 3 minute walk to the subway, 15 minute walk to Shinjuku, also right by the shinjuku gardens. The staff were so helpful and friendly even though my Japanese was pretty much non existent. Rooms were cleaned everyday and bed was changed every 2-3. Breakfast was lovely, vending machines were convenient with good selection. Shower had great water pressure, couldn’t hear any of the other customers from my room. Air con was a blessing and created a bit of noise but nothing irritating. Staff even held my luggage as I was a couple of hours early to check in.

The bed was a little uncomfortable on the first night but I think that was just me adjusting from my normal bed. Was a bit unsure about onsite laundry but also didn’t ask so can’t really fault them. I ended up going to the coin laundry which was really close by just probing how good the location was.

Staff were friendly but had very limited English. I stayed for a week and had a room on the top floor with a nice view. Thanks 👍. Included breakfast was adequate, reasonable variety which changed a little each day. Room was adequate size for 1, not too cramped. Both the room and bathroom were bigger than my next two hotels so far.

Full room service was twice a week, towels and garbage bin were supposed to be changed everyday, with a basic bed tidy. No staff entered the room between full service days, they just leave a bag hanging on the door handle with clean towels and bin liner. You then have to leave your dirty towels and garbage outside your room for collection in the morning. Very untidy. I chose not to change my towels and bin liner daily for this reason, with bags of fresh towels building up in my room 🤭 Bed was very firm like many Asian beds, but to my surprise I slept ok luckily.

The room size was as I expected, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The amenities were also very complete, which I really appreciated. The hotel is located just a 15-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, but there is also a closer station called Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station, only a 3-minute walk away. Additionally, there are many convenience stores within a 3 to 6-minute walk from the hotel.

The thing is I booked 2 to 3 months before my actual date. And it seems that I went during the high season, so there is no non-smoking room available. Therefore, the room that I got is the smoking room, which its smell was quite strong.

Very close to the Shinjuku-Gyoemmae station. It’s like a 1-2 minute walk to the closest exit. Breakfast every day between 6:30-9:00. Breakfast isn’t the same every day, aside from the rice and bread. Staff is very helpful despite the language barrier. Just get your translator app out. They have a translator device too. Coin laundry is also easy to use after you throw the directions into a translator app. The room is of perfect size as a solo traveller.

Staff doesn’t really speak English. When I checked in I got two cleaning dates that I completely agreed with from the self check in. Then the staff came back to me with completely different dates that I agreed with less, because I wouldn’t be in Tokyo those days. Took a while before I figured it out with the staff. The mattress is very hard and hurt my back the first couple of days. Breakfast is very Japanese which is not really a problem, but it also means there are only chopsticks for utensils.

Simple hotel located just outside of the busy part of Shinjuku. Relatively small and with few foreign guests. The location allows you to come to where things happen in 10-15 minutes and then retreat to your quiet street without having to take the metro. The nearest metro station is around 100 m away, and so is the nearest convenience store. The room is very small but relatively well planned. Ask for a room on one of the top floors and you will not be disappointed with the view. The staff is very polite and speaks English well enough. Good simple Japanese breakfast.

I wish there was a shelf or a drawer where I could unpack some of my things. Staying for 4 nights having to put everything back in my luggage every time gets tiresome, especially that there's barely enough room on the floor to open the luggage.

I traveled alone, although the room size is slightly smaller than standard double room size in Europe, but the room had everything I needed. It was very well organised room, had everything as described. I’ve read the reviews before I book, so I had expectations that pillow will be firm, but I had no issues with it at all. The location of the hotel is just perfect, it is about 10 minutes walking distance to main shinjuku shopping area, also close to a big park. But it’s at the quite street, with lots of shops and restaurants around, so it’s not noisy at all but very convenient. The receptionist was also very friendly, I’ve arrived in the morning, so they stored my suitcase before check in for free. It was a perfect day for me to check shinjuku. My room also had breakfast included, it is Japanese style breakfast, it’s not very fancy, but the food is decent and dining area was very clean and quiet. They’ve also provide coffee, which was a huge plus for me. I would definitely come back to this place, not sure if they offer bigger room if you are couple, but for solo traveller, the room was perfect! And after staying in other area, I appreciated more of this hotel’s location. That just made everything so convenient! Only 3 minutes away from underground station.

It was a great experience overall, if I had to pick one, maybe the receptionist’s English could be better. They were all very friendly, but I had to ask something and it wasn’t anything major, but I could imagine if something comes up, communication would be a problem.

The hotel staff is very nice, and the check in and check out is very easy, (automated machine). The rooms are really good. It is true the bed mattresses are hard compared to European ones, but I quite enjoyed it and had no issues. The breakfast is included, however it is nothing too special. Most importantly, the location is amazing, with 10 to 15 mins away from shinjuku Station, 5 from shinjuku gyoen garden, and 2 from the local metro mananouchi line. I also had a wonderful view from my room with the skyline and docomo tower which was really fortunate. I was a solo traveller, so small room was perfect. Clean towels every day.

Walls are a bit thin, and other tourists can be loud. It seems they separate foreigners on the top floors. Understandable as different culture norms but as someone who is quite and respectful, it was unfortunate to have to hear loud tourists. Drinking cup was clean, but tea cup in room was very dirty so not used. Bed sheet could've have been cleaned a bit better as even though they seemed cleaned, I came across a few hair strands that were not mine (I am blonde and these were very dark) I enjoyed bed but pillows could be better.

The hotel is easily accessible from Shinjuku Gyoenmae-station (just around the corner), Shinjuku Sanchome-station (a few corners off), and Shinjuku station (10 min by foot), while still being off the main roads avoiding the noise of traffic. The rooms are similar sized to other business hotels (usually rather small compared to western standards) but this is also Tokyo and smaller rooms are expected. Despite this I had no issues fitting into the room, bathtub, or wherever as 190+ cm tall. Despite my poor Japanese I had no issues communicating with the personnel via combinations of english, japanese, and google translate.

Walls into the hallway might be a tad thin, if you have rowdy floor neighbours you might hear them traversing the hallway. Can't really blame the hotel for people being unable to keep quiet outside their rooms.

The front desk people were very helpful. My daughters wanted Totoro clothing but I couldn't find any in Tokyo. The front desk Caucasian lady and a Japanese gentleman who could speak English called a lot of stores and inquire about Totoro clothing for me. They both deserve commendations as they went above their duty to assist me. Japanese breakfast was good and the staff always replenish the food. Hotel location was excellent. There was a subway station a couple minutes of walk from the hotel. And it's a half hour walk to the main Shinjuku station. There were many 7-Eleven, Lawson and Family Mart around the hotel.

Paper thin walls and windows. I was at the highest floor (13) and you can hear conversations in the street. Also, you can hear next door people talking, coughing and packing lugguages.
