What a great value for the money, especially for solo travelers! The hotel is conveniently located 1 block away from the Funabori station on the Shinjuku line, making travel very convenient. I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood at all times, including late at night after getting off the last train. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, and they had extra supplies/toiletries that you could grab for free from the lobby. The breakfast in the connected restaurant that was included in my stay was great (Japanese, western, and Korean options), though there are other good places nearby for breakfast and other meals if you prefer. Tip: take advantage of the free coffee in the lobby instead of getting it from the restaurant where they charge you extra. Also, take advantage of the free beer and other beverages in the lobby each day! The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They have varying levels of English fluency, from native speaker to very basic, so please just be very kind and patient, and be prepared with a translator app if needed. I am a native English speaker from the US who speaks very little Japanese, and one morning I needed to ask a staff member a question, but they didn't speak much English. I took out Google Translate, and we had no issues! They were super friendly and even walked outside to point me to a nearby restaurant -- how kind! I will absolutely stay here again in the future!

- It is on the Funabori metro station and near a Plaza and the Tower Hall Funabori. It is a must see - the view over Tokio at the sunset is amazing! - The room has every necessary furniture. - You can get amenities and a cup of coffee or tea at the morning.
- The breakfast was the worst I ate in whole Japan throughout my trip (4 weeks). Japan has one of the most delicious and rich kitchen in the World, serving some "amerikan style white bread sandwich" or a raw egg as a possibility is really disappointing. Besides the whole restaurant was busy preparing "take outs" for later on, therefore there were limited seating. A won't recommend to eat there. - The rooms are small and not the newest also bit smelly.

The location is less than a 5-minute walk from Funabori Station. I had a late check-in and contacted the hotel beforehand. The staff quickly replied and ensured everything would be okay even if I arrived late. One free daily drink can be collected from the fridge near the reception desk. There's also a hot beverage machine serving coffee and cocoa. The room is a typical compact Japanese business hotel, but it's clean, and all necessities are available.
There is no trash can inside the bathroom.

The staff were amazing, every one of them. They also have a translating device for when communication is difficult. It is very close to Funabori Station. There is a coffee machine 24/7 which is free to use, and you can take one drink a day from the fridge with a good selection to choose from. Toiletries are also provided. We have stayed here many times and will book again if we have another chance to visit Japan. The air-conditioning in the room was a life saver as it was still extremely hot in September.
The rooms are very small and, because we usually stay for at least 10 days, we always book separate rooms usually opposite each other. The single rooms have a bit more space to store your luggage.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to the train station and supermarket as well as an arcade. The staff was very friendly and understood English. The free drink everyday was refreshing to come back to.
Some parts of the room weren't clean such as some dried blood on the bed sheets and wall stains. I would've preferred a stronger air conditioner. The emergency flashlight had a battery leak and didn't work.

There was a lot of extra amenities available on shelves next to the lift as you head up to your room. The staff reminds you every day that you are allowed a free drink from the fridge. There is also a coffee machine where you can get free coffee and hot chocolate. The staff were always there to greet you as you left or came back. The beds were very comfortable. Rooms got cleaned every day at no extra charge. They supply you with towels and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and gowns for after taking a shower/bath.
Only negative was that you aren't allowed to open the windows so the room would get stuffy (there's only heating available through vents no air conditioning) and the pillows are very thin. If you are lucky there is an extra pillow available on the amenities shelf and maybe if you ask for an extra at reception they would give but I was too shy to ask.

Great value business hotel, close to train and facilities, 2nd time we’ve stayed, they have a really great friendly team that make you feel very welcome
Got sick with flu so spending the day in a small room wasn’t so good, normally just there to sleep so not their fault.

Station, shops and restaurants are nearby. The staff very helpful and the breakfast is super. You have to choose one dish from 3 style ( korean, western or japanese) My favourite was bibimbap.

I lovedddd that this hotel had lots of amenities. If you forgot anything they had you covered. Lots of free drinks as well and a grocery store right around the corner!
I could use another pillow, but that’s only a minor mishap

Very well-equipped hotel with everything you could want. A bit old, but very high quality and well maintained. The rooms are very tiny - you could view this as a negative, but it did not impact me so I found it nice.
The room did smell quite strongly of smoke. This isn't terrible as it clearly says smoking is allowed, but I expected the smell to be less powerful.
