Lovely hotel, could walk to town in an hour or so if you are fit and we were away from the hustle and bustle of the city which we liked. If not Ubers are available within minutes. Gorgeous beach and pool which was perfect for a peaceful morning swim. The staff are all incredibly friendly. Breakfast was great and room was perfect with a sea view. All round fabulous stay and would return!

As it is a big hotel you do get bus loads of people turning up so it can feel quite busy (especially at breakfast) Would be good to have some more vegan options (dairy free yoghurt/butter etc) at breakfast

The food served on the beach is not good enough and needs inprovement, also there is not enough waiters, so you have to fight for their attention. It is allowed to smoke on the beach so you will probably experience a smoker smoking on one of your neigboring chairs and the wind migt blow it towards you. Once we had a cigar smoker next to us and it was blowing towards us and when the waiter was serving us food we asked if this is ok and he said it is allowed to smoke there “why not”. Smoking is also allowed on the breakfast terrace, they will even bring you an ashtray to your table while people next to you are eating breakfast, so again if you have a smoker next to you you might smell smoke while eating.

Superb breakfast with every possible option catered for. Staff were friendly, efficient and very accommodating. Spectacular views from every terrace. Lovely swimming pool with towels provided and plenty of sunbeds. Lovely room with excellent bathroom.

Price of drinks was rather on the high side - particularly soft drinks. 4 500ml bottles of still water to have by the pool were in the region of €18!

Breakfast was very good and the beach area was perfect with no need to rush in the morning in order to get a spot. The bus stop right in front of the hotel is very convenient to reach the old town.

The hotel is lacking some maintenance. In our room the minibar wasn't cooling at all, only one elevator out of 3 was working properly during our stay. Door handles to get back from the beach were broken, forcing guests to follow a longer way back to the rooms.

It was nice location and all the facilities were good, staff were lovely and hotel had everything.

Only thing missing was a heated pool for when it was a little breezy and cold .. to still be able to have some pool time at a nice temperature, outdoor pool would probably be used more if it was heated in the colder days

The view, the location, the indoor pool and spa area and the size/cleanliness of the room were all great. The outdoor pool area is lovely and the beach is really well maintained. It was a really lovely hotel.

There was a really awful smell on Level 1. The hotel food was expensive (in my opinion), compared to what we were paying to eat in Michelin Star restaurants in Old Town!

From the moment you walk into the lobby, you will be amazed by the panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea. Fortunately, you will have ample opportunity to enjoy the view from multiple areas in the hotel: dining room, piano bar terrace, room balconies and the pebbled beach. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the property being extremely busy in August. The meal buffets were plentiful with many options. Desserts were very enjoyable. Our highlight was spending our days by the sea as it was so clear, clean and the perfect temperature. We usually spend some time in the pool, but no need on this trip. We especially appreciated the beach bar waiters and staff. Maro was so kind to our family and remembered our daily orders. Oh, and the best part was it was easy to get enough towels for your family to stay comfortable and dry!

The front desk staff seemed a little short staffed, and so check-in and other interactions took longer than I would anticipate for a 5-star hotel. The hotel is at least a 15 minute ride from the Old City, so just something to keep in mind. Food options are limited for lunch unless you leave the property. If you walk straight out of the hotel and onto the sidewalk across, you will find yourself about 5 minutes away from a small strip of stores and restaurants. These stores have all the basic needs you to stock up your room or for last minute beach supplies.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful...probably the best we've ever had at any hotel. The beach and pool areas were great. The restaurants and the lobby/terrace bar were really nice. And the view from every window on every floor was simply breathtaking. A wonderful hotel and we will be back for sure. The location is also great with other things to do in the area and the port is only 5 min drive away.

Sadly, our room was not up to the mark when we arrived. There were many spider webs(on the lamp, in the minibar cupboard, near the door and in the bathroom), shoe marks on the floor, grease marks on the headboard of the bed and ants on one side table. The cleaning staff came in but only one spider Web was removed and the floors were cleaned but still not well enough. The linen and the rest of the bathroom was very clean. For a 5 star this was disappointing but we didn't want to bother the staff. (We had the very last room at the end so maybe it was just not used as much as the rest.) We needed a late check out so we were shifted to another room that was super clean. So this was just a one off it seems.

Location and facilities

Food. Cold, tasteless, no variety and pathetic vegetarian options

Wonderful room and everything was thought of. Couldn’t ask for more from the room. Welcome drinks and fruit was a lovely touch. Beautiful unique uninterrupted view of the sea. We stayed in their VLevel service with breakfast. It allowed us access to a lovely lounge area and we used both indoor and outdoor pools. Staff were very polite and helpful. We were given some tips about local restaurants and shops. We also used the shop at the hotel to buy bus tickets and snacks.

The quality of breakfast could have been better. We didn’t like the bacon or eggs provided. So don’t expect a cooked breakfast as you would imagine. However we did enjoy the fruit and pastries. Unfortunately we had an incident on our last morning when we sat at a table that another guest said he had reserved as he had already placed a glass of water on it. It was all very odd and we think it was not the hotels fault. However perhaps going forward the hotel could provide guests with a ‘reserved’ notice they could use to mark the table.
