The hotel facility was very nice and the room was large and clean. We enjoyed the very nice pool and the laundry facilities worked as described - using my phone.

We noticed that the side, ground-level door near the pool was left open at night several times. This could have allowed a non-guest to enter and use the elevator to come upstairs. We felt insecure. The walk down the street to the hotel from the main boulevard was dark and quiet at night with random men sometimes loitering nearby.

Rooms were spacious and well equipped. The terraces were although could be better. Air con was efficient and definitely needed.

Although everything was reasonably good a few tweaks would make it much better. For example the full length mirror in one of the rooms we had was positioned in the wrong place so the bed was in the way, drawer knobs were difficult to grip, the lounger on one terrace was worn and grubby. Although one terrace was pleasant it would have been nicer with more plants to screen it a little. The other room's terrace was too hot to use much. Having said all that we still had very pleasant stay.

Good location, in a quiet area. The room was spacious enough, with a small kitchenette equipped with what one would need. The bathroom was also quite large, separate from the toilet room. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast offering enough options.

The wifi connection was quite poor and we would have preferred the TV to be installed in the middle of the wall opposite the bed, instead as of near the windows. Also, in the first morning there were works done outside starting with 8am immediately underneath our windows and we would have preferred not to have noise at that time, although we were awake.

It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the center. There are buses as well. The breakfast is good. The pool was heated in October. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The staff pleasant. There is a washing machine and dryer near the breakfast area.

The breakfast is 16€ and the parking 12€ per day. Both a bit steep. The edges of the wash basin are slanting so you can’t keep things on it as they slide and fall. The drawers provided are very small so it’s not convenient. The cooking area is very basic and, you can, at the most, heat food. On the first floor, we could hear noise before the crack of dawn (either trash cans being rolled or delivery being done) and some kind of flood light coming on streaming through cracks in drawn curtains. Some lower balconies face the parking. They don’t pick your trash on the last day.

The rooms are spacious, featuring a bathtub, toilet, and a small kitchenette. However, the hotel could improve by providing some additional amenities expected of a 4-star establishment. For instance, the kitchenette could include coffee, sugar, and other essentials. Unfortunately, the soluble coffee provided ran out on the first day. Additionally, on one holiday morning, there were repairs being carried out with hammers and drills as early as 9 a.m., which was quite disruptive. Nevertheless, the hotel is well-located and boasts a heated pool, which is a definite positive aspect.

Very good location, especially if you are coming by car from the highway. Garage available. It is abot 5-7 min walk outside the centre so it's quiet. Store around the corner. Close to the park. The room was nice, little kitchen, if there is 4 people and you pull out the couch you don't have enough space so you have to put it together again during daytime. Also ih you have more then 1 suitcase it can be a little tricky. But for few nights or family stay really good. The balcony is spatious and really great.

Great amount of daylight , and the windows opened in bedroom/ living area.

At least one more English speaking channel on the television. Minimal number of glasses, cups and dishes. While we appreciated the free breakfast, we were disappointed that we weren’t given some kind of discount when we experienced flooding from the water heater in the room. The contents of one suitcase and it’s contents were completely soaked and they had to be dried out before we caught the train the next morning. Changing rooms meant that we had to pack up , unpack and then pack up again for the night. It took time away from our trip. More explicit directions need too be given for guests arriving at the bus station.a

This is a fantastic place to stay, very close to the centre and a very smart hotel. The staff were exceptionally nice… once I put my rubbish in the wrong bin outside and the lady on reception had to inform me of the correct one.. she was so friendly and such a pleasure.. I wish other hotels had staff as nice as this place.. what lovely people.. first class service! 😀

The place exceeded our expectations, we stayed for one nigh, so booked something cheap and cheerful, the apartment was very clean and spacious, a short walk to the centre. Car parking also was easy, as hotel has underground parking, otherwise if you need to park on thr street could be difficult to find. Unless you want to stay in butique hotel, and pay accordingly, this place was fantastic for the value, nicer than box standard hotels.

Nice and quiet. A 5-10 minute walk to the historic district of Aix, so perfectly acceptable. The standard rooms on the lower floors are a good size for a couple or perhaps a young family. Nearly all staff, but especially Hary, went out of their way to be happy and helpful with us. The pool is a very decent size and well protected from the hot summer sun in the morning and later afternoon. Good to have laundry facilities, irons and drying racks available for a longer stay. We did not try the breakfast so cannot comment.

We booked a terrace room on the upper level, which cost more than a standard room. However, to make room for the terrace, these rooms are very small. In the summer it is almost impossible to use the terrace because of the heat, so after one night we downgraded to a standard room on the ground floor and were much happier. The rooms are looking a little old and tired, mainly because the initial fitout of the room was basic and budget rather than high quality. We were surprised to find out that NO cleaning or towel changes at all were included for a 7-night stay. We would have expected at least one change of towels, though we note that room cleaning is available on request for an extra charge.
