Great service from all the staff who went out of there way to help us from the moment we arrived through evening meal , breakfast and checkout. Traveling with an elderly family member who is very unwell. We had an accessible room with adjoining double room which made caring for our Father very comfortable and convenient. They even an extra heater for our dads room. (The rooms are warm enough but he required that little bit warmer). We all slept well and left rested. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and staff very on hand keeping everything clean and topped up. Especially liked the extra zone for gluten free products and toaster. We only chose 5his hotel as its convenient to the motorway as a half way stop over. However we would choose this place again as we have family near by. I look forward to returning and being able to visit the pool and sauna area.

Having read the reviews previously written on your website, I admit to being sceptical about what to expect when arriving at the hotel. However, I needn’t have worried. We were met with a lovely welcome at Reception and all members of staff without exception, continued to ensure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. The food although slightly limited was amazing, especially children eating free at any time of the day/evening.

Only one small complaint, my granddaughter is 13yrs old and is a member of our local gym. She was looking forward to using the hotel facilities (the gym, pool and jacuzzi being the main reason for us booking this hotel), and extremely disappointed to be told she was too young to use the gym and the jacuzzi. As both my daughter and my husband intended accompanying her, and taking full responsibility for her, we felt this decision was rather harsh.

Great location near the motorway but you couldn’t hear it at night. The room was very nice. I informed them at check in that I might return late and wasn’t sure if the door would be locked and they gave me a card with the contact number. Both checking in and checking out was an easy process. Will definitely be back when I need something similar

I thought the water pressure in the shower could be stronger, and you can occasionally hear people walking past if they are talking. I was in a room towards the back (33) and I was walking to my room I could hear the music from the Christmas party all the way down the first hallway, luckily nothing past that.

The cleanliness of the room and hotel were exceptional and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The instructions for booking the pool and gym were very clear, and the food served tasted excellent. We enjoyed the cosy feel of the hotel despite the long trip to our room.

The breakfast options were quite expensive, especially for those of us who preferred to eat lighter meals. The bathrooms could be improved; the showers aren't very strong, and there's no vent or fan to clear up the steam, leaving the bathroom very wet. It would also have been nice to have a place to dry our towels so we could reuse them.

The customer service from the front desk was excellent. They made me feel so rich and so polite. The evening restaurant staff were all excellent. The customer service they give is outstanding. So attentive to my needs. On Saturday morning, my first day of breakfast the member of staff was so polite. The area around the hotel is really nice. The food is excellent. I have been to Italy many times and ate pizza,but the pizza I had with charged grilled vegetables was much better than Italy. The room is an excellent size. The view was private with bushes which I like.

On the second day of breakfast, the gentleman at the front desk did not make me feel comfortable at all. No smile and seemed he didn't like his job. I didn't like my dishes being cleared up as I was still eating. I felt rushed. The bath was clogged up as I took a shower, so I had to put lots of towels to stop getting the floor wet. I did speak to someone about that, so hopefully that would get sorted out. I wish they a fridge in the room to put cold drinks and food. Also the bathroom didn't have the ventilater working. The TV wasn't so great. But what made my stay so good was the staff. Not enough light in the room at all. The food is really expensive but nice. I suggest you save up. Or either get food from local shops.

A family atmosphere. The mix of older staff, who very clearly cared about their work, and younger staff, who evidently looked up to these staff, was exceptional. This is genuinely one of the best Hotels I have stayed in. Oliver at Check Inn, Mary on breakfast service, Viiktooria (apologies for spelling it wrong) and all the other staff really took PRIDE in their occupation and CARED about the way they were perceived. Facilities: astounding! I have stayed in 5 * hotels who's gym was less equipped. All the Gym staff were attentive and amazing. I didn't use the pool, but it was clean, well looked after and with a nice hot tub. The Sauna was icing. 30min session post gym stops DOMS. OVERALL, almost faultless. But given its a budget hotel, on a motorway, this gave the stay a way above par for the course they're playing. Premier of the "budget" league and overall punching well above their weight. Breakfast was AMAZING! I don't normally do breakfast, but just astounding every morning.

It's a motorway hotel, so it is a bit out the way, the building on the whole a bit worn, but, don't let this detract and if you want a 5* experience in a 5* hotel. Bookk a 5*. If you want 5* treatment, on a 3 star budget, in a motorway hotel, with AMAZING staff, then go here. You won't be disappointed.

The room had all the necessary equipment,the bed was very comfortable and the air on was great, it was lovely and quiet.Also being able to put the light on in the hallway from the bed is a great idea.

I was staying on my own with my dog, in the evening I went for dinner and sat in the dog area for dinning which was fine. Breakfast was self serve so proved to be a little challenging, as I could not take my dog into the buffet area, and had no one to leave her with. I looked for staff to help but the staff in the breakfast area were very busy. SoI had to leave my dog with a total stranger while I went to get my breakfast! eventually after eating some of my breakfast there was a member of staff on the desk at the bar, who when asked very kindly got me a cup of tea.perhaps on check in at the bar, they could ask if you are on your own, and would you need assistance. I didn’t realise it was a buffet breakfast until I sat at the table and saw people coming to the table with food.

We stayed for one night. We paid a reasonable price of £78 without breakfast. The room was a good size with a firm comfy bed. Good quality bedding and towels. Blackout curtains. Had a great nights sleep. Super friendly and helpful staff from the housekeeping to front desk. 6 minutes drive from Trentham Gardens(pics attached). Corridors were light and clean. We would stay again.

Not a dislike for us but it could be for some. We stayed in room 140. It was a very long way away from the reception area. It may be worth asking for a room close to reception if needed. The room next door to ours had an unattended dog left in it which was constantly barking. On the plus side the reception staff dealt with this immediately. My suggestion is to maybe separate the hotel rooms that you allocate to dog friendly guests away from those without dogs.

Hotel welcoming and our dog joining us was not an issue and did not impact the standard of room we received. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming and found us a swimming slot for that evening. Pool was basic but clean and a nice temperature, swim time was limited to accommodate all bookings but staff were polite and apologetic for this and it was a bank Holiday weekend, so hotel was busy. We swam again the following morning when it was quieter and this was no longer an issue. Restaurant was of a good standard and food was tasty. Rooms were clean comfortable and had great facilities, beds were super comfy. Location convenient for travelling plans we had, there was also a lovely little play park for the kids outside.

Rooms were situated on different floors despite requesting they be close, but we did book only a few days before, it was a busy bank holiday and reception did apologise that they had not been able to put us any closer. Restaurant was freezing in the evening!

Room was great, everything we needed, restaurant/lounge and games were fab, breakfast options were brilliant. Location and ease of arrival and parking were brill.

Receptionist stated that a twin room was not guaranteed and initially only offered a double. This was unacceptable as I was with my 12 year old daughter and we had booked two beds. With a bit of fuss they swapped to a family room but made seem this was a huge inconvenience to them with a busy hotel and we were ‘lucky” they could do this at the same price. Dinner was ok, but adult menu prices were clearly ramped up to cover the ‘kids eat free’ offer.
