This was our third time at the Hostellerie, we return for the location, the city is in walking distance, one can take the city elevator to reach the top. The breakfast is nice and the Hostellerie Restaurant amazing and always worth a reservation. The Staff is wonderful, welcoming, polite, seeking to make ones stay pleasant.

Perhaps a no cell phone use could be enforced by the staff, during breakfast times, as one guest held a private phone call entertaining all breakfast guests :(

The hotel is lovely. The location is excellent - good restaurants just a stroll away and the bus stop is a few 100m down the road. The rooms were spacious, warm and cosy - with the option to open the windows which I really like. Breakfast was a really nice variety of hot and cold foods and all delicious.

The only 'negative' is minor - the rooms are not especially soundproof and the noises from upstairs and the bar at the back are quite noticeable. That said, we slept well and the beds were extra comfy.

I enjoyed the hospitality, staff was very friendly, helpful and flexible. The room was clean, practical and good for the price that we paid. Overall, well matching expectations.

Upon arriving, the room was very hot. The curtains had not been closed, and there was scorching sun. To our surprise, the air conditioning was also not working, so we panicked a little (as one does). However, we got offered a portable Dyson fan which did help a bit. Also, after 5 p.m. it got significantly cooler outside so in the end it was quite manageable.

Great features like window ceilings for complete darkness, silent and quick working AC, A Proper Safe, silent doors, best low lighting ever seen (this coming from a person with 20yrs in lighting industry with leaders), very comfortable bed, no noise from outside etc. I like many details that make your stay better as a customer.

Only negative was booking the last room was we were left with a tiny room on the second floor with no lift and absolutely only one place on the floor possible to open a big suitcase!

THE FOOD THE FOOD THE FOOD we did not expect the food to be so good . But later found out the restaurant is Michelin rated. Although we were not able to eat at the restaurant the staff were very helpful with the English menu to provide the best room service ! Room size was amazing

We both felt that the offer for breakfast was limited. Although everything was great , especially the bread the choices were limited and things ran out later on at breakfast. For example no more oranges for the fresh orange juice

The TV hadn't so much options to watch movies, it was very expensive, and the room was cold despite of max heating capacity, and the money guarantee was a little bit odd. Usually the hotel has its own insuranxe policy or contract.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull, the dinner was great! We loved each and every bite we had. We were fortunate that there was also a private party during dinner in the garden, so we could enjoy the live music. Great bonus during a fantastic dinner.

The room was okay but for a superior room at this price, the least you expect is the room to have a mini-bar and not directly situated above the storage room of the kitchen where they handle the crates and the empty bottles of the night before. It's kind of noisy and they start early in the morning doing that. Yes, we could have closed the window but it was 30 degrees outside all day and the night was very warm as well in a room without airconditioning. But still, I can recommend this hotel: You will have a good stay!

Nice place, great feeling and ambience, I think it could be clearer that the hotel has two buildings and you don’t really see beforehand if you’re in the main building or across the road … but it’s a negligible detail - yet a detail 😉

I liked location, quiet and green. Garden is small but so beautiful and cozy. Breakfast was good but not super. But in the restaurant dinner and especially wine were really good.

I didn't like the hair dryer. It's definitely old and barely can give you air to dry your hair. Also there's no air conditioner in the room. It was not so hot that day, but the side of the room was sunny. Imagine if it was 30 degrees.

Very spacious, comfortable room. Good location, slightly out of the main city area but super easy to get in by bus (love that public transport is free in Luxembourg).

The bathroom has very limited shelving and the shower is not sealed and I almost flooded the whole thing! Very difficult to not get water everywhere. There is also no soundproofing so you can hear every footstep and conversation from the room above.
