Clean, modern hotel away from the city center, but close to the (free) tram, so very easy to just to pop in and out as required. Bed was large and comfortable, shower worked well as did the A/C. The area is a large arts complex/EU office so probably quite lively when active, but very quiet when we were there, presumably because it all stops during the holiday season. Probably explains why the hotel was relatively inexpensive at the time - may not be such good value otherwise.

There was an interlock for the A/C such that it stopped when you open/unlatch the window. Not an unreasonable idea, but there were no signs to that effect so the fact our window lock was a bit jammed and not completely latched meant we initially though the A/C was broken - needed help to rectify it.

I would like to make mention of several of your staff who went out of their way to welcome us and help us: at concierge I would like to highly commend Sigit and Benjamin. They helped us with a seamless check in and provided us with support and information during our stay. I would also like to commend Mavis Lyu who helped us at reception with an easy check in and organised a late check out and went out of her way to ensure we had the best rooms for our stay. We are 3 friends who grew up in HK and were reuniting for a weekend in Macau after many years. Our expperience with your excellent staff helped towards really making our weekend superb.

Incorrect information re the fountain show. T3 was up and therefore there was no show but the staff said it would be happening. Not much seating in the lobby area for people who need to sit and the lobby coffee shop was reluctant to have us sit if we were not ordering - we needed to wait in the lobby as we were waiting for someone.

Staff were very nice and efficient. The hotel is located next to the Philharmonic's Hall, so if you are going to an event or concert there, the location is absolutely perfect. Rooms were nice and well equipped - there was a good desk as well.

At breakfast, the restaurant smelled of Asian cooking - which may not be everyone's breakfast taste. The spa is small, with no staff that I could see - there could have been more information on how to use the facilities.

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in Europe. Location is great, close to a park with a nice view, 25 min of walking from the center or 15 min by tram. By the way public transport is free of charge in Luxembourg. Room was comfortable, spacious and very clean with all needed facilities. Staff is super friendly and helpful - they gave us recommendations and directions. Also it was already night, restaurant was closed but we were hungry. Ladies at the receptions helped to order food by phone without charges of delivery and very quickly. We absolutely loved sauna and spa in the hotel and used in 2 times during our stay. This hotel is definitely one of the places I am going to save for my future trips.

Nothing. The hotel is just great place to stay in terms of value/money.

Breakfast: good, good selection, nice tables, friendly staff. Room: good bed, plenty of space, good desk for work, sufficient power outlets to charge devices and connect PC. Other guests, and I, found the rooms very quite. Lead to great sleep but also concentrated work. Location: Just what I needed, as I was at a conference at the adjacent European Convention Centre Luxembourg (ECCL). Also close to the airport and the (free) tram line that connects the area with the city centre. Restaurant: Enjoyed 2 dinners, one in a group of 4, one alone. Both good food (tuna steak one evening; burger 2nd evening). Staff friendly and helpful, also for quick drink first night, upon late arrival.

Breakfast begins too late. The first morning I was one of a handful of other guest who had to request a brown paper bag breakfast as we needed to be at the ECCL at 7 am but breakfast only starts at 7. The brown paper bag breakfast was miserly, no beverage at all, and only a ham and cheese sandwich on plain white bread, a very unripe banana and a small dry bun. Surely a 4-star hotel can be more flexible. After 3 days/3 nights I had to call housekeeping to get 2 towels which had been used 3-5 times each replaced. Again, most 4-star hotels replace towels after 3 nights, during a 6 night stay.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not stay for breakfast. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Window could not be opened and shower and bathtub were old. the location was excelent for my needs.

The bathtub climb-in is really dated and even unafe due to the unfortunate palcement of the screen. The windows are all locked and I had to sleep in canned air. The selection of TV programs is atrocious for international travellers. The WiFi did not work after attempting to log on about 10 times, oh well...

We liked the restaurant and the dishes we tried, salmon and risotto, were very good. We enjoyed a very nice bottle of wine on the outdoor patio which was very quiet and relaxing. Rooms very clean and quiet, which was a nice respite after a day touring the city. Front desk staff was very helpful in getting us clear directions for using public transit and in calling us a cab for the airport. Location next to the tram stop and the funicular was a short walk. Deli market also a short walk.

The staff is excellent. Very cordial and helpful. However, the location was a bit far from the city centre but that's fine. There was a room service as well (charged) but we had to call a few times to get things done. In sum, I think their staff is the USP. They were kind enough to reach out even before my stay to ask about food preferences, allergies. Also, they let us know that there is a concert scheduled in front of the hotel so would you like to change the dates. This was really good gesture.

Nothing major honestly. The room service was decent though we had to call a few times to get the right thing but it's all good. No compliant whatsoever.

For the first time in many-many months my family and I slept like in heaven and we actually felt we had some rest. Without exaggeration the hotel did everything possible to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The room and bathroom were really functional, perfect temperature and conditioning in the room - not too hot, not dry. Hotel provides a great view to the old town and a great area for walking around the hotel. Definitely we will look forward to other possibilities to stay in Melia.

Nothing.

We loved the design of the hotel and the location; it’s not in the historical city center but you can get there in about 10 min with the tram (public transport is free in Luxembourg) or you can also walk (25 min). The plaza and the surroundings are beautiful, with museums, towers and the philharmonic just ours; the restaurant was great but you want more variety there are also other options really close by and the staff was very welcoming and professional. We even had a small issue with one of our restaurant bills but it was handled beautifully at the checkout. Another nice touch: great quality toiletries. We loved it so much we stayed for one more night. Overall, I have nothing but great memories from here and we will surely come back.
