The location of the hotel is truly unbeatable. It's ideally situated with a vibrant array of restaurants and bars on one side and the charming old bazaar on the other, all just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel itself was outstanding. Beyond the thrill of staying on a Galleon anchored on the river, the property is properly maintained, very well-kept and impecabble clean. The room was exceptionally comfortable and came with a wide range of amenities to enhance our stay. The entire staff, from the receptionists and night porter to the maids and catering team, were truly exceptional. Their professionalism was evident in every interaction, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Not only were they highly skilled in their roles, but they were also incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with any request. Their warmth and dedication made a significant impact on our stay, with the level of service far surpassing our expectations. The breakfast at this hotel is truly the best in Skopje. While it may not be as extensive as the offerings at larger hotels, I found it to be far superior in quality. The food was fresh, delicious, and carefully prepared, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. We had the option to choose anything from the menu, in addition to a delightful small buffet featuring a variety of both hot and cold selections. The attention to quality over quantity made the breakfast a standout feature of our stay. While the hotel excels in many areas, dinner and lunch offerings could use some improvement. Although the quality of the food is commendable, the portion sizes are on the smaller side. In our experience, dining at the hotel can be relatively expensive, especially when compared to the more affordable options available at nearby restaurants. Enhancing the portion sizes or adjusting the pricing would make these meals more appealing to guests.

My wife and I were staying in the A1 room, located just beneath the deck, which unfortunately proved to be quite noisy. The deck above serves as a bar area, and the constant movement of chairs and tables created a persistent noise that lasted until midnight, making it difficult for us to fall asleep early. However, for those who are heavy sleepers or less sensitive to noise, this may not be an issue, and they would likely have no trouble sleeping through it.

The hotel staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, which even included omelettes and soup, was great, better than most hotels in Europe. As a coffee lover, I had cups and cups of coffee, and on our third day the staff brought my coffee without even asking :) we only paid for whatever we had after breakfast. The hotel’s location was also very convenient, at the heart of everything.

I should have asked for an extra pillow, I didn’t, that’s my fault :) My husband is very picky about the quality of beds in general, so he didn’t find it very comfy buy it was Ok for me.

I arrived at the hostel with my passport lost. When I was in a state of panic, the clerk at the reception desk (sorry, I forgot to ask her name) comforted me by telling her story. And she tried to help me sort out the situation. Also, she woke me up at 5:30 in the morning when I had to go to the bus terminal at 6 in the morning. Especially thanks to her. I went to the bus terminal and was able to retrieve my passport. Along with this, she also informed me that I don't have to pay too much money to taxi drivers. All the staff at the restaurant in the hotel, which I visited during breakfast and dinner, were very friendly and professional. My trip to Macedonia, which almost ended in panic, was able to finish well! thanks to the staff at this hotel. Thank you.

We had high expectations when we booked the Hotel Senigallia and happy all were exceeded. The location is marvellous!! We had the Deluxe Room (which is labelled A2) on the door. This is their largest room at the bottom of the bow at water level with a very comfortable king bed, sofa, chair, & coffee table with lots of room for our luggage. The A/C worked reliably, the plumbing and shower, and light systems were great. The breakfasts were as good as everyone says, altho’ most neglect to tell you that a wide variety of hot breakfast dishes are available just for asking the server. The dinners and lunches were as good as anywhere with a 10% discount for residents. The staff spoke English & were happy to chat. The crowning glory: there is even an elevator to whisk you up to the restaurants and streets. Speaking of streets: on Saturday night the land side of the boat was hopping with music and happy crowds, but in our room we opened the window on the river side and the sound of the water going past was effective white noise & lulled us to sleep. Safe underground parking is about a 5 minute easy walk away & you will get clear instructions how to get there prior to your arrival.

Obviously, we were delighted with the choice & wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Everybody's helpful, boutique atmosphere with people making the place even noticing the good location and the shape of the building) On the upper deck, Elizaveta really rules with food&beverage recommendations and helpful with the younger travelers. Would easily visit again. City: parks on the left side of the river and old town are nice and the zoo takes about 2-3 hours to navigate. Some smaller places only take cash.

We took a room with 2 separate beds on the side, front cabin really looks better if available and a kingsize bed is an option at all. Couple missing fittings in the bathroom, which is good otherwise but re:general level it's reasonable to expect the small stuff fixed. City: the area between Museum of contemporary art, US embassy and Vardar river is quite neglected / not good as a walking route.

The location was great. Few minutes walk along the promenade from the City Centre. Promenade also seems nice but it was raining when we were there. The hotel really does look like a galleon and, upon arrival, you get the feeling like you're entering an adventure. Staff was nice and answered all our questions and needs. Breakfast was pretty good and had a nice selection of items. It's also great to start the day with the view of the river and the city centre. The car park is very close, which is great, you just need to take in consideration the additional cost. It cost us Eur20.00 for a full 24 hours. It is important to enter 'GTC Parking' in your GPS or you will be guided to a dead-end which was rather frustrating considering that we had to go all the way around the city again in rush hour traffic to come back to where we wanted to go. Overall, the one night spent in Hotel Senigallia was great. I would gladly stay again.

Could do with a few more clothes hangers.

Location right on the river Vardar. Close to everywhere. Loud during night. The rooms were ok outdated furniture as you would expect but taps could do with replacing as they just look old not even rustic. Also the windows have the mesh protectors but mine in room 21 seemed to have gap so had few flies and alot of spiders come in was 7 that night. Would have been nice to have the sails out to make it look more like a sailing ship instead the terrace has been converted to bar eating area and although pretty I booked it for the pirate feel.

The bedsheets could have been softer. English tea and milk provided in room instead of green tea and no milk. Had to go get milk from the bar.and luckily I had a spare tea bag from my last hotel as realised alot do the EU countries do not give teabags. But coffee and creamer. I think the sails should be down and maybe run a few pirate themed nights

I was a little unsure about booking Hotel Senigallia, but there was no need. The fake-boat concept is quirky, but the finish out is actually elegant (and really feels like an upscale old-style cruise ship). Our room felt surprisingly roomy and was well-equiped; the bed was comfortable; the marble bathroom was stylish and had plenty of hot water and water pressure. We were on floor-2, so very near water level and levels below any common areas so our room was absolutely quiet. The air conditioning took a little while to catch up due to very hot temperatures outside, but once cooled, it could be downright chilly. We had a couple of flies in the room when we arrived, but quickly dealt with those and saw zero mosquitoes. The location is ideal. Even though our drivers couldn't drive right up to the hotel, it was a short walk in the shade to the Holiday Inn where they could pick us up. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and Elizabeta was probably the best server we had in the Balkans: very cheerful and attentive. Breakfast was tasty and ample, too.

It was all good.

Such a unique hotel. This is not a "real" navigable boat, but a hotel fabricated to look like a boat. The hotel is actually in the river, but again it does not move and is built on a cement foundation. The rooms were boat-like, bigger than I expected, and more comfortable than some real boats. The breakfast buffet was nice, but we really enjoyed dinner and drinks on the upper deck more. 10% off food and drinks for hotel guests was also a really nice touch! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, arranging a car to the airport and they walked us to the meeting area to make sure we got the right car.

We weren't sure whether or not to dispose of toilet paper in the toilet or waste bin. We settled on the bin given that this is eastern Europe and the norm for much of the area. There was a sign in the bathroom, but it was poorly translated. We often wished breakfast lasted until 11, by 10:00 most of the food was gone.

Well you get to stay on a hotel that looks like a ship. That is always a bonus. Location wise, you are right in the middle of the city, close to all the major things to see (you can see some of it from your room). We stayed on the side facing the river so it was very quiet. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfest buffet is very good. The reception staff are really helpful.

It was the most expensive place we stayed at (it was a treat and the location is amazing) so I am being a bit more picky about the asthectics. A little bit worn in places in our room but other than that is was a great stay.
