Located just across the road from the KLCC and Petronas Towers, it was easy walking to everything we needed. The rooms were incredibly spacious. The opportunity to open balcony doors added to the experience watching the thunder and lightening roll in as pert of monsoon rains. Staff were very helpful, kind and I felt very safe and welcomed. I found some gems of restaurants- Mandarin Oriental for breakfast, Aliraqi for lunch and Marinis for dinner. There's also cheap "hawker stalls" in the laneway walk behind the hotel. Siam bodyworks Thai massage just two blocks away.

Looks like management need to put more money into preventative maintenance eg at least 4 washing machines had faults and balconies were dirty. Jacuzzi on rooftop is not warm so there was limited opportunities for swimming if the day was cooler and overcast. Suggest utilising the pool area for a snacks and drinks stall.

The cleanliness, the service, the rooms.

The breakfast was really lacking. For such a star-rated hotel and the amount paid for breakfast, it was truly miserable, worse than some of smaller rural hotels in Malaysia. The spread was very limited, the staff couldn’t take the eggs order correctly (even after the 2nd time) and the overall quality was lacking. We didn’t even go down for breakfast the 2nd morning there, though we paid for it. And mind you, for 6 pax, that is quite a substantial amount that would have gotten us a good spread outside. I feel that if the hotel of such star-rating is unable to provide a similar quality breakfast due to whatever reason, then don’t offer breakfast. Otherwise the difference is too stark.

I absolutely loved the room, the big bed, the balcony view, the linen, the space, closets, bath tub, shower, sofa, kitchen, bar counter, work desk, the Starbucks at the lobby, the proximity to KLCC and eateries, the daily cleaning.

I did not like the arrival and check-in process, arrived on a rainy midnight and was unsure if I was being dropped off at the right place. There's no signages at the drop off area itself and it did not look like it was Ascott because the frontage visibility was some restaurant, convenience store, unlabelled lifts that look residential. We did not see the hotel lobby or signages. It's easy when arriving at night. The check in process was so long, after a delayed flight, long queue at KL immigration, I really just wanted to rest upon arriving. There must be a better, quicker way to check in like how I've experienced in other countries. The wifi keeps disconnecting.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The apartment was on the 21st Floor and we had a partial view of the Petronas Twin Towers/KLCC Shopping Mall which is a mere 2 minutes walk. Pavilion Mall is also an easy walk via a covered air-conditioned walkway.

We were very disappointed with the buffet breakfast that we stopped eating there after 2 days out of the 5 days of our stay. It was an absolute disgrace - the selection was inadequate for an accommodation provider of such high repute and the quality was extremely low.

Whilst checking in, the supervisor kept on pestering the receptionist who was checking us in to serve others who came after us asking for assistance. No apologies were made when I sounded out my dissatisfaction. Breakfast was ordered for 9 am on the first day but when we called up to ask about this the receptionist said that there is no record of our order and also queried if we have changed rooms which was not the case. Furthermore, if we have, this should be recorded in their system. These experiences put us off from choosing Ascott in the future. It is unfortunate as we have stayed here several times throughout the years and came back to a rather sub-par experience.

the Location, so near to KLCC. the apartment was spacious and clean.

the waiting for the room to be available. we came a bit early just to settle the registrations etc and plan to check in on time i.e 3pm. the room is still not ready 30 minutes after 3pm, and we have to request the receptions to check on the rooms. we booked the room w breakfast for 5 pax, dont expect hotel-like breakfast buffet. The buffet was very simple w a simple menu. we got our toasted bread burnt instead because there they use a toaster whc was manually operated. there was not any instruction on how to operate/ use it. so, here it is, giving you the tips not to get your bread burnt.

comfortable & good environment, friendly & helpful staffs especially receptionist & staffs at the restaurant during breakfast

work of Bellboy can be improved especially during check out time when most customers going out and waiting for their transport or the transport waiting for customers to come. need more control by the bellboy- not to allow any car or transport waiting for too long at the front without any customer as it will disturb others who are ready to go or ready to load their bags.

The location is excellent. It's within walking distance to the Petronas Towers and the huge shopping mall. The studio room was lovely. I wasn't expecting a kitchen! There is a laundrette on the 22nd floor!

The breakfast is very basic. The tea/coffee cups are small. There isn't a restaurant/coffee shop or a bar. I wouldn't describe it as a 5* property.

The cleanliness of your apartments. The easy check-in and check-out process. The ambiance. The location. The calm. The bed. Appreciate for the helpful of your morning-shift staffs.

Your evening-shift front desk staff. A free-hair lady but not Naza, I can't recall the name. She is not so friendly. I understand that maybe the hotel were lack of staffs and there were many pressure from the guests, however it is not the way to act as a front desk staff because they'll be the first one to meet the guest. First impression for the hotel is your front office. Therefore, they need to be very well prepared of the pressure and always be nice to everyone regardless the title including the delivery boy. That is all, nothing less.

Congratulation to Ascott team. The room is very spaces for family with kid. Good cleanliness. I am satisfy with the 2 days stay. Really love the lotion that provided by the hotel. The aroma and it's texture are nice.

Limited channel to watch movie. I would like to suggest for NEFLIX.
