Brand new hotel on the other side of St. Pauls Bay in Xemxija, with great transport links to everything you would want to see in the north of the island. The hotel is small and the staff were great, in particular Miodrag on reception, he was so friendly and incredibly helpful, really good at his job, he couldn't do enough for us. Simon in the restaurant was great too, and Oksana in front of house they were both friendly and helpful. Obviously, with it being a new hotel, there are teething problems and still some snags that need attention, but this is to be expected in a new build. The team were apologetic with any issues and dealt with them impecably well. When it's all finished, and the spa and indoor pool are ready and open. I have no doubt this hotel will be a little gem in Malta. We hope to come back and see it when it is xx

Everything was luxurious and fresh. The breakfast was incredible and I had the best customer service overall, they were all so professional and kind. I loved the shower and the amount of space there was, the bed made me feel so relaxed and my sea view was breathtaking I could hear the gentle sound of the waves when I woke up.

I booked a short stay at Ushuaia Playa Xemxija Boutique Hotel for a romantic getaway with my husband, and our experience was nothing short of spectacular. The rooms were elegantly designed. Although we didn't opt for a sea view room, we were still treated to a lovely glimpse of the shimmering sea, which added a touch of charm to our stay. One of the highlights was the indoor pool, which felt like a hidden oasis—a tranquil retreat where we could unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle. It was a serene space, perfect for leisurely swims and relaxation. Every morning, we were greeted with a lavish breakfast spread that catered to a variety of tastes. From fresh fruits to baked goods and hearty options, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We also had the pleasure of dining at the Apulia restaurant during our visit. The delectable dishes we tried were not only flavorful but also reasonably priced, making for an exceptional culinary experience that we would happily revisit. Overall, our stay was a perfect blend of relaxation, indulgence, and unforgettable moments.

Mickey at reception was a redeeming factor and Sanjay also! Two great lads who made it a fun stay. View from the room was amazing.

Firstly, the window for our hottub in the room wasn't working. Held up with a wooden plank. Given it was likely the best room in the hotel it was disappointing. Basically rendered the hottub unusable. The food selection wasn't hectic either. Nor the prices. Didn't exactly shock for almost 350 euros a night. The paint was also peeling and in poor condition in some spots. As well as having a pretty bad ant problem for such a new hotel.

Absolutely perfect, beautiful, clean, well maintained and managed. The staff in the bar and restaurant could not of been better. Fantastic Guinness and good cocktails. The food was perfect in every meal. We ate there for most meals. Honestly some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. The pictures really do show a great representation of the hotel. The views are stunning. The location is in a beautiful part of St Paul’s bay slightly out of the way but not so much that it causes issues. Buses are regular and cheap, traffic is rubbish, rush hour is difficult to get about. Download BOLT app taxis. Get you where you need to go and reasonable. Go and see Gozo island and take a boat trip. Historic and beautiful Malta. Will be back to the hotel.

There seems to be a smell coming from a property close by. Affects the walk past. I am sure it isn’t the hotels fault but it is the only negative I can see.

Room felt luxurious and was well appointed Great views from Leo's bar and rooftop bar The indoor pool was a really cool experience not something I've seen before (if a bit mouldy in places)

Service was a bit variable barmen were friendly but wait staff and hotel receptionists seemed to mostly ignore you. No friendly 'have a good day' when you pass by or anything. Didn't sleep well all week combo of air conditioning being quite weak, bed too small and noise as our room backed onto the road, also lights in the room (alarm clock, air con etc) Breakfast was fine but repetitive and varied day by day presumably by which chef was on It's a good walk to St Paul's if that is something that will bother you.

Everything was finished touch high standards. The views from every window are incredible. The food in the bar is really good and really reasonably priced. The hot tub in the room was amazing, looking out into the bay having a glass of fizz, very special. The underground pool in the cave was seriously cool, very very special!

The staff could have been friendlier, particularly the restaurant staff we saw at breakfast, just not very smiley and you felt like they didn’t want to be there. There wasn’t much going on in the area and some parts a bit grotty but if you want a relaxing for nights you probably wouldn’t need to leave the hotel

This was our second time visiting this hotel in a matter of months! We simply cannot recommend it more highly, everything from cutting edge design, the most exceptional staff, it truly is meticulous in every possible way! The rooms are sublime and pure indulgence! The cuisine is superb, from breakfast through to dinner and my husband was delighted with the latest addition of their sensational Sushi Menu!! Leo’s Bar has a fabulous atmosphere with great music, very vibey! The restaurant is beautifully tranquil and everything you could wish for, stunning views, relaxing music, divine food and the most attentive staff! It is a perfect hotel to spend your holiday in Malta. The room was very nice and clean with a great view. The very tasty breakfast made me want to eat in the morning, which is not my daily habit. The restaurant has friendly staff and the food is very tasty. The indoor pool very original, grotto-like and the outdoor pool with bar, with the possibility to order food, plenty of sun loungers and a great view of the sea. The professional, extremely friendly staff is ready to help guests in any problem. I recommend this hotel to even the most demanding because it is special.
