Staff and service is wonderful. The siting and eating area is very unique and has a wonderful atmosphere and lighting. Food and drinks were amazing. Our Spanish was lacking and we were able to get by with the help of the staff. Beach location was ideal. No major complaints.

Rooms are very basic. Would be nice to have water in the room every day, more hangers and more towels. We had some ants in our room which led to having some bites.

We had a fantastic stay for just over one week. We loved that the hotel is close to the central area but it’s tucked away and very quiet. The resident cats are adorable and listening to the sound of the waves from our patio hammock was incredible. The room was spotless as was the pool and all the staff were super friendly. Our AC broke after our first night and Pili was so helpful, she moved us to another room immediately and we saw the AC in our previous room being fixed the same day. Really appreciated the responsiveness. The internet connection was also pretty good. And the restaurant was excellent!! You really can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a quiet, more upscale spot in Zipolite.

We loved our stay at Hotel Noga! The atmosphere is truly beautiful and the location is perfect. You feel like you’re in a jungle tree house, however you’re steps away from the ocean. The food was delicious and home-cooked. The service was also stellar. The rooms were missing a bit of colour/ decor and the beds were a bit firm. While we found some ants in the room, we felt this was to be expected for the environment. Although yoga was not included in the price, I would highly recommend as it was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken! Would definitely come back here.

Loved the location, the restaurant, the food. The staff was lovely—the manager Daniel was so personable and Luca at the front desk and all of the cooks. Loved the sweet kitty cats as well!

Potential opportunities to have a bit better mosquito control, maybe citronella candles or fans on or a recommendation to wear picaridin. Or nets to enjoy the evening while being outside.

This is a great location and a great place to stay. I thought it was too far inland but to my pleasant surprise, it was on the beach. Quiet at night so if you want a little nightlife you can go next door to NUDE. I noticed the WIFI was stronger in the restaurant than in my room. I was able to do work and Zoom meetings with no issues while sipping coffee or having a meal. The staff was great, especially Chepi!

What I didn't like was my credit card(Discover) and my ATM card(CHASE) didn't work in the front office. Luckily I went to the bar/ restaurant to order a drink. I told them to charge me first cause I wanted to see if it would work. Their credit card system for payment at the bar worked. I was able to use my Discover to pay for the room and food. There are only 2 ATMs in town, no banks. Those did not work for me either until I got into Oaxaca. So bring extra cash and test your cards before it gets a little scary.

Hotel Noga is an absolute gem! Management and staff alike make you feel right at home and Noga is a beautiful oasis in the middle of Zipolite, less than 1 minute away from the beach. The restaurant is brilliant too – we've had delicious breakfasts and dinner with everything homemade (including the salsa!).

Nothing, we loved our stay!

This place is just fantastic. It's right next to the beach and a super quick walk into town, yet the hotel itself has these elevated walkways that make you feel like you're walking through a lush jungle on your way to your room. The hotel bar/café/cantina is right next to the beach but also shelters you from the sun if you prefer. Many or all of the rooms have private terraces and hammocks. The WiFi is super fast as well. There are also a couple other hotels right next door with nice restaurants and bars too if you want to mix things up. But what really makes this place amazing is the people / family that work there. If you prefer to keep to yourself, they'll leave you be. But if you want to chitchat - and I recommend doing so because they're lovely, knowledgeable people who know everything about Zipolite and the surrounding areas - they'll be happy to hang out and have a beer with you, from the owner on down to their adorable six-toed cat. Seriously, the cat will lie there on the bar with you and nap while you sip a Corona or a cocktail. The people working at the bar remember you after one visit and make sure you have everything you need (and the drinks and food are crazy affordable given the quality).

Great atmosphere. Beautiful natural design. The staff especially the General Manager and the reception staff were so welcoming. Very good level of service and always felt nothing was too much trouble. The beach was just steps away with service for drinks and food.

Everything was really good but the hot water was not always available in the peak morning period.

Great location on the nicest stretch of playa Zipolite, literally one min walk from the beach. You hear the waves if you open the windows at night ❤️ They also have a nice tent on the beach, with cushions and beach chairs where you can enjoy and chill ! The staff was very friendly and nice and they even cleaned our room once even though we only stayed two nights. The WiFi when we were there was working pretty fine. The hammock in front of each room is amazingly comfy! And the bed was big and comfortable too (had a king-size)! Overall I enjoyed my stay here and can recommend it. If you want to stay on the beach in Zipolite I feel it's one of the nicest options :)

The room need to be revamped: the bedsheets had a hole, the AC was really loud (without AC was very warm - and i usually don't even turn it on- but there's no fan available) and the shower and bathroom floor could be renovated, considering the room price.

Delicious breakfast. And lunch on the beach was a highlight of the stay.

The hotel is beautiful and beautifully situated. The rooms, while very pleasant and airy, are very spartan. There isn't really anywhere to sit comfortably in the room when you want to escape the heat of the day expect on the bed itself. However, there are lovely patios in the trees with hammocks.
