Clean and modern room in a small hotel with only 8 rooms. There is a small backyard with a pool. The owner was nice, helpful, and responded quickly to questions. It's easy to take a taxi into Cancun center; it took about 10 minutes with Uber. Good value for money.

It was quite noisy at night because the hotel is close to a tivoli that was really loud. The noise stopped at around 12 at night; after that, it was okay. The beds were quite short, about 180 cm in length, so for my tall husband, his feet stuck out of the bed. There wasn't much to do in the area, so this is more of a good value-for-money stay for a night when traveling to or from the airport.

Very good value for money. A clean, new building with good facilities like kitchen and coffee making. The hosts are excellent and accommodating and will help with any questions at any time e.g. they ordered us a local taxi which meant we paid a normal price and it felt very safe.

Beautiful little apartment with good facilities. Small pool but lovely and relaxing. Super market across the road. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Balconies are really lovely. Staff very helpful in getting to location and sent a map via WhatsApp for the taxi driver. Which was much appreciated

Not many restaurants around. One across road and another at the top of the street. Taxi ride away from main area of cancun, this was a bonus for us but could be downside for others. Not to do with villa sophia but be warned you will get ripped off on taxis from the airport if you do not prebook. 1125 we were charged to get to Sophia but only 350 back to the airport, book in advance!

Beautiful Villa. Our room had a 2nd floor balcony overlooking a gorgeous entrance courtyard. We were only 1 short block away from a huge modern grocery store. The villa is located on a quiet no traffic street, only 100 meters from the main road. Only a kilometer away is a parque that is dense with jungle, home to the local animal, Coati, and has lovely wide paved walkways. Free entrance fee.

Not convenient to the beach, if that's what you are looking for.

We stayed here only 2 nights at the end of our holidays. We chose this place for being close to the downtown that we wanted to visit after staying in the Cancun hotel zone. There is a bus stop very close and an outlet with many shops, restaurants and a big supermarket. We were looking for Mexican food and found La Parrilla next to the cinema, excellent restaurant! and I could finally try marquesitas in the outlet. The staff is very friendly, it was easy to contact the owner via whatsapp and he helped our taxi driver who couldn't follow correctly the directions (?!). The terrace and swimming pool area are really nice. The shared kitchen is well equipped, it has coffee, tea and filtered water available which is very practical, we didn't need to carry big bottles from the supermarket as we did in other hotels. The WiFi was good.

I had a very good experience from the beginning to the end. Frank contacted me with all the information for the check in before our flight, arranged a taxi for us and gave me lots of recommendations, making my stay in Cancun a lot easier. The apartments couldn't be better located: very close to the centre but far enough to be quiet. Across the road you can change money, get a SIM card and there's a huge supermarket too. The place is very clean, comfortable bed. There's a well equipped kitchen too.

The room itself as well as the balcony was really nice. In total the accommodation had a really nice Charme.

Unfortunately we had some small black spots on the bed sheets, otherwise it was absolutely nice and clean. You could clearly hear everything which was happening outside of the room (no soundproof). Therefore, especially in the morning it was super loud through people checking out early.

Just recently opened the Villa has everything you need for comfortable stay. The room was spacious and super clean with super fast Wifi. Super friendy, english speaking staff. Check in was super easy and they allowed us free of charge late check out due to flight delays. Pool was clean and easy entry from our room. There is a big kitchen free to use with all the utensils you may need to cook a proper meal. Free of charge purified water. Would definitely recommend this accomodation!

Lovely place. The best thing about it is the kitchen. Fully equipped with all cook wear, oven, stove, microwave, fridge. Really nice staff. The grounds were pretty and relaxing, our room (#2) had a sliding door that opened to the pool area, which was lovely at night. There's a giant grocery store (actually it's like a Target, grocery store is just one part of it) right across the street.

Stayed here on my last day in Mexico it was really nice for what I needed and in budget too. the small pool was a nice touch with the humidity. The staff was amazing and even called after we talked with a taxi company because the price was too high and they negotiated things to a proper price. After that all taxis were booked through them unless returning. Was close to a department/Grocery store which was nice.

Depending what you want to do location can be far from things and taxis are expensive! Nothing really in the area to eat need to taxi somewhere.
