Small hotel the wifi is poor and beds a little bit uncomfortable but location just side of the beach and view is like movies you cant wait to open the window and see this perfect blue from beach

the faucet drips and looks old and dirty I know that the concept of the island is rustic but mittoz could do something else to improve this details and let this place amazing

We had a great time! The hotel is just a minute walk to the beach and has tons of amazing places to eat all around! We had some difficulty with my credit card while checking in and the staff was super helpful in getting things resolved.

We read the reviews of loud music from the bar next door before we went but we didn't think it could be that bad but it was. The hotel also wasn't as clean as I would have liked.

Loved the amazing drinks upstairs, and the vive.

We had to use stairs twice, once to go get drunk at the pool, and to go back down and up to second building to our room, really bad planning, lots of girls drunk unable to go back down stairs, so I better pace myself because I knew I would go downstairs, cross the street and go to the second building for my room and go up 3 floors.

Mittoz is a great hotel if you’re planning to be out in the evenings. Centrally located over the main outdoor bar, it gets noisy at night but the hotel is comfortable and staff is friendly.

I lost my room key and they didn’t have spares which made things a little difficult but they were very, very nice about it. I wish they’d bring the lounge chairs back to the rooftop as it seems like all tables now.

Very nice hotel. Enjoyed the roof top bar. The staff were all fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Great location.

If you came for peace and quiet this may not be for you, but if like being in the middle of it all and steps from the beach this might be for you.

Excellent location, staff are super friendly and a great rooftop. Lovely shower that has hot water and very clean hotel. I enjoyed my stay here thank you to the staff! I even extended another night. It’s a magical island.

More hooks in the room to hang clothes, they should have more than one iron available and more plug sockets. More info on how to rent bikes or cars and tours but you can walk around the island and find it all.

stayed here for 9 nights with my partner and small dog. the desk staff were friendly and attentive. they always made sure our questions were answered and we had everything we needed. The rooftop was great too. we were up there almost every day for breakfast, lunch or just to hang out in the pool and enjoy the view. both the food and service were always exceptional! not to mention that we were steps away from the Playa Holbox, and right across the street from amazing tacos, a great artisan market, and convenience store.

Okay yes, it is right at the Hot Corner. It gets very loud at night, and the property does attract a younger crowd. My partner and I are in our early 30s and don’t really party or stay out too late, but honestly, we bought some nice earplugs at one of the local pharmacies and were fine. I don’t feel like some of the one star reviews about this place are fair. If you’re an older couple looking for a quiet romantic stay, then yes, obviously a trendy hotel right in the middle of the islands nightlife is probably not for you. Do some research the island before you arrive so you can avoid making these kinds of mistakes.

Location was super central which was great, 2 minutes walk to the beach, very close to great restaurants and bars. Staff were super friendly.

The rooms are a little noisy at night, this is at no fault of Mittoz but it is because the hotel is very central and there are bars and restaurants with live music very close to the hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything is within walking distance.

It can be a little loud at night, but it isn’t an issue if your plan is to go have fun.

The location was great if you are in Holbox to drink and party. There is a street party every night on the "hot corner" which this hotel is right on the "hot corner" and it is the party spot of Holbox. The roof top was nice with a small pool. the entire hotel was quite in the day, but at night it was a party on the roof and the street.

The room was a little small, or the bed was too large. And on those nights you just want to chill, well the hot corner is going to party no matter what you want and sleep may be difficult. And this is not the hotels fault, but there is not internet on the island, not anything above 1mb/sec. Even trying to tether off phone was dumb, phone service is spotty also, so turn your gear off and relax, you will not be working from Holbox.
