Super friendly staff, directly at the beach with cool sunbathing area, clean rooms, changing breakfast buffet every day

Our baby was almost hidden (1m away) by a fallen coconut. Super dangerous. Staff promised to take care about the coconuts that were hanging above the sun chairs. Unfortunately the coconuts were still hanging there until we left some days later with even more falling down during those days.

Beautiful large room with large balcony and stunning view. Great breakfast offering each morning and always kept fresh and replenished. Great location on the beach and short walk to centre! All the Staff very friendly and helpful. Serenity beach area was so chilled and relaxing atmosphere.

Food and drinks were expensive at serenity beach club but everything was delicious and great variety to choose from

We loved the location and the staff! We are vegan and loved that the menu had lots of vegan options for lunch and dinner. It was easy to walk down the beach to get to the sandbar and close enough to town to be able to walk into when the roads weren't flooded.

The room was nice, but there were not enough hooks to hang towels, and not enough surfaces to put things on. Would have been great if there was a small dresser or something. The breakfast had very limited options for vegetarians/vegans which was surprising given how vegan/vegetarian friendly their regular menu is. Given how poor the infrastructure was in town, we probably won't go back to Holbox. There was a storm one day and it left all the roads flooded and the stench was horrible. We were glad we visited Holbox and Holbox Dreams was an excellent choice for our first, and probably only visit to the island.

The room was lovely, felt very boutique and was clean with everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent, everything you could want, fresh fruit, sweet option and savoury. The location is very central to everything and the pool is right on the beach front attached to the beach bar. Staff are so friendly there and really looked after us. Special shoutout to staff at the beach bar, Javy who was exceptional, and also Max, both who really made our stay special. Food and drinks at the beach club were delicious.

If I had to suggest an improvement it would be to have the water bottles replenished each day in our room.

I stayed here for a few days ( solo travveller), and I loved everything about this property! a perfect paradise in a perfect central location! Not sure how anyone can write anything negative??? what's not to like??? I question some of these people that wrote negative reviews, are you sure you were actually at the same place??? it's a very charming, rustic hotel located directly on a beautiful long clean beach where you easilly walk for miles! (The beach in front of the hotel is actually the cleanest on the whole island! ( and of course its only natural for the tide to come up,whereever you are in a beach, the tide naturally comes up, but that's only in the evening after 6:30pm but you can still enjoy a nice dinner on the beach) The room ( standard queen) was large, clean, very comfortable, quiet and safe. The breakfast included was perfect in a beautiful setting... it had more than enough options. there are 2 pools to cool off after a hot day and enjoy under palm tress and lounge chairs all around. The food menu for lunch and dinner had so many options, it was difficult to choose... i ate here everyday and whomeever makes the food deserves 5*, everything I had was absolutely delicious!!! actually some of the best I've ever had! The hotel is right in the ceter, just a few steps/minutes walking distace to all the shops, bars, restaurants etc. its a 15 min walk from the ferry ( unless your lazy and tired and want to take a taxi/ golf cart) Re: insects & mosquitos- I haven't experienced seeing any insects / spiders... and yes there are mosquitos, but you get that anywhere on a tropical/ jungle island. even if you stated at a 5* resort you would get mosquitos, its nature! most of all, the team here is exceptional!!! so kind, so nice and so quick with everything! I wish i could stay longer and I am definitly coming back here next year! Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

nothing, everything was perfect!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this place. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.The rooms were reasonable size with attractive decor; AC and water pressure were terrific with generous bathroom amenities; buffet breakfast offered a variety of choices ; plenty of shade and sunbeds for guests; the 2x fair sized pools were clean and well maintained . The bar by the beach was efficiently run with an enticing menu .My husband and I enjoyed Happy hour cocktails ( 5 pm to 7 pm ) on most of the days we were there to view the stunning sun sets.

The rooms were cleaned everyday but there were times when we thought our room was not going to be serviced as they came late in the afternoon . We had to confirm with reception that housekeeping would come in to make sure. Nevertheless, this didn't affect our overall high appraisal of the place.

Great hotel right on the beach. All the staff were very friendly and approachable. Location is fantastic, rooms and grounds were clean. The kids loved the pool (which we saw being cleaned each morning) and the access to the beach is amazing. We also ate at the beach club a couple of times and the food was good. Breakfast was also good with a selection of items to choose from.

Some areas look a little tired, we were up on the top floor and could see some of the roofing needed attention but that didn't affect our holiday, we had a great time and would stay again.

Location. The beach hut natural decor. Comfy bed. Excellent service attitude. Friendly, happy, caring staff. Happy hour cocktails were superb. The majestic sunsets! We went on an unusual time second week of March where rarely is family guests being told by waitresses is usually booked by for couples or group guests. Alex at the beach club took great care our entire stay. He was the dream staff, so happy, caring, respectful, fun and interesting to talk to and friendly all the time. We were only a couple and extended our stay from two to three nights whilst there we stayed at room 30. Loved our stay so much and we’ll be back!

Buffet breakfast could be improved. But recommend the fresh hot chilli sauces provided at the counter, yummy!

The staff were absolutely brilliant. The breakfast team and the breakfasts were fabulous. We also ate in the beach club on several evenings and enjoyed good food and great service. This is a wonderful hotel. Sometimes the music was a bit too noisy for us but otherwise it was a great break. Thank you so much.

Just the music really, it comes all the way across the beach all the time and clashes with the music they play in reception so if you're sitting by the pool you're getting it in both ears from different directions. However that's the only thing we could criticise. Otherwise as you can see from what we did like we had a wonderful time there. If they could just be a bit more thoughtful about the music. Well maybe for old people anyway, like us,

The location is amazing, right by the beach and close enough to have everything in town within walking distance. We loved that there was no super loud music, like you find in some other beach clubs. Everything was very relaxed and our room, which was near the second pool in the back, was really quiet at night. The food and drinks in the restaurant were good and the staff was nice. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choices. This was the best stay in our 3-week Mexico round trip :)

Nothing really... It was a shame there was a lot of sea grass, but that's just bad luck, not the hotels fault. The staff always did their best to clean it up :)
