Clean, modern and comfortable rooms, good location just 5 mins from 5th Avenue and the beach, great rooftop pool. Beds were made everyday and towels changed. Staff friendly. Supermarkets nearby.

Breakfast- although it was sufficient for two- a bowl of cereal/milk, pre toasted bread, fruit, coffee and juice. We were surprised when told it wasn't available to our two children. We shared it with them (and bought our own food) but can't understand why the children can't have the same. Kitchen facilities are very basic if you want to cook but we managed.

We were greeted by Aderi at the front desk, always smiling and willing to help. She gave us tips on where to go around town, including a discount for a beach club (10 min distance walking) and special bracelets for our tour to Xcaret for a free souvenir! The hotel in general was spotless and modern; cozy terrace to chill at the beds next to the pool or play games at the tables.

Only on one occasion we noticed our door unlocked after they cleaned our room buuuut they have cameras on every floor which made us feel safe and after we told front-desk about it they made sure it wouldn’t happen again. They truly seemed ashamed of something like that happening.

This Hotelito is approx. 8 blocks to the beach. It is a quiet neighbourhood, approx. 5 blocks from the tourist 5th Avenue. We had previously reserved this hotel in the past and were quite satisfied, therefore decided to return this year. The property is very secure, with 24/7 staff at the reception and key pass front door. The rooms are large and well kept. The pool is on the smaller size but it is in a pleasant location, with umbrellas and lounging chairs on the 6th floor upper deck. The best attribute of the hotel is its staff. Gina, the manager, is efficient and her staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. Victor the caretaker. Adery and Manuel, at reception, Anna, our housekeeper were all very approachable and helpful. They are helpful and caring of quality service. We will hopefully be returning next year to enjoy Hotelito Del Mar and Playa del Carmen.

Really friendly staff, big two bed apartment with a TV in each bedroom (with Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max), very comfortable beds, and the rooftop pool/terrace was beautiful - we had it to ourselves almost every time we went up. Each room has separate WiFi which was really fast for 90% of the time (we stayed for a week). There were three seperate aircon units which meant we could adjust the settings for each room. The location is away from the main strip of Playa del Carmen but only a 10minute walk to the beach and a 30min walk to the centre.

Only a couple of very minor points - the kitchen could have done with a few more plates/utensils etc as there were only two plates and two bowls for four of us! A clothes airer or line would also be really helpful for drying out wet swim gear/towels. And there was only one main light in the bedrooms - a reading light or lower level lighting would have been nice.

Close to the shops and beach. Beds are extremely comfy. Very good wi-fi. Cleaning service every day.

Beautiful, modern apartment with fully equipped kitchen and nice balcony. Huge windows, comfy bed, peaceful surroundings. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Quiet neighborhood but walking distance from beach and restaurants. Wonderful top floor patio with pool and views. Great street tacos next to AKI supermarket!

Rate was higher than informed in Booking.com when we made our reservation and all the taxes were not included in the price either.

We loved that the hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle yet near enough for us avid walkers to walk to the beaches and all of Quinta avenue. It was also great that we could book our chairs at the beach front of Martina beach club through the hotel and were provided with towels as well. The staff was super helpful with finding us a doctor for my husbands minor injury and organising a taxi back to the ADO station for us. We had a late flight out of Cancun and they not only stored our luggage for us but also allowed us to enjoy the rooftop until we were picked up. A big "Thank you" to the staff for all your help and support!

If you enjoy /are used to having toast with jam and cereal for breakfast, you're definitely fine - it just wasn't for us.

Very good location away from the craziness but still close to the beach and everything I needed. The Appartment was very big with comfortable bed.

The breakfast was a total joke. Too basic for the price of the room. The toast come without butter for example, I few small pieces of fruit and cereals with milk. In my opinion some butter, boiled egg and a few more pieces of fruit won’t brake the budget of the hotel. The room and everything was 4 stars and then you get 2 stars breakfast, very disappointing. Another thing is the thin walls, you can basically hear every noise from your neighbours, which can be funny listening to their sex games😂

The staff was the absolutely best!!! Shout out to Gina (Georgina)! She was like n instant friend and loved my kids so much! The entire staff helped with taxi service, best eats, and activities. The bed was super comfy and the place was cute and clean. I could have lived there.

The only thing was the living room curtains were sheer. We wanted a privacy curtain like in the bedroom also to keep the sun out when we were sleeping

The hotel room was spacious and it had a separate bedroom. Although it says that it is a studio, it is a one bedroom. There was a continental breakfast included which was nice, although it was the same (melba type toast, sugar frosted flakes, coffee, milk, juice and watermelon). It is near Calle 38 and it is 4 or 5 blocks from the beach. Quiet and the room service on a daily basis is quite a treat. The staff was very accomodating, allowing us to check our luggage before check-in and the same after check out. We had permission to use the poo area prior to check-in and after check-out which was really appreciated.

More variety in the breakfast would be appreciated, especially if you have a longer stay. The pool is quite small but there is a nice deck on the roof where you can sit to read.
