It was clean and as advertised. There were no issues- family loved it

The complex is amazing. Really private, with public pools for everyone and just about a 3 minute walk from the beach. The apartment is perfect for a group of 5 or 6. It’s really modern, comfortable and has a private little pool. Check in is really easy and the support and personalized attention from Jasmin was perfect. The only downside is that it’s far away from the town center. It’s either a 25 minute walk or you can signup for the public bike app, which makes it much easier to travel back and forth.

too many things didn’t work. oven was broken, toaster (given as a replacement for the broken oven) was broken, extraction fan was broken and the water cooler was leaking. Most of those things should be visible to the caretakers who should have had it fixed.

The apartment is well maintained, spacious and has everything you may need during the stay (and I mean it as you find smaller utensils there, range of coffee machines, etc). Private pool in front of the apartment (if you have the one on first floor) is very nice and cleaned regularly as well as pool in the center of the complex. Mareazul complex are is well maintained as well, secure and has nice cafe and restaurant. On top of that one of the greatest beaches in the area right there one step away from pool. Will be happy to come back there next time!

The resort is BEAUTIFUL, well kept and well secured. Our beachfront condo was absoutely STUNNING!!! Just a few steps to the private beach. Views from every window facing ocean. BREATHTAKING!!! Large patio to relax with ample seating and hammock. Sunrises look like a picture PERFECT painting, only better!!! Tons of sleeping options in unit. There were 3 of us -- the unit could have easy accommendate 8-10 people. My concierge person was "Yazmin" she was AMAZING!!! I booked this vacation 6 mos in advance, by the time we arrived at the resort "Yas" felt like family. She responded to ALL of my questions in a timely manner, she greeted me when I arrived, connected me with a personal chef to prepare my BD dinner, connected me with a tour person for activities and even scheduled my spa appointments. The spa is located at the front entrance, one day there was light rain. Yas picked me up in front of my condo and dropped me off right in front of the entrance and offered to pick me up so I would not have to walk back in the rain. Yas was a breath of fresh air, she made it so we could enjoy our vacation to the fullest. And we did!!! We're not only planning to return but seriously considering purchasing a condo. Mareazul Beachfront Condos did NOT disappoint!!!

It is an excellent location with great furniture, had security, and the check-in and checkout were flawless thanks to the code we got on WhatsApp from the staff.

We arrived before the Beryl hurricane. Even though we were in a foreign country and had zero knowledge about where to eat and buy stuff, the customer service was absent for 18 hours - they left us stranded with no options. We had to manage ourselves until they suddenly showed up in our conversations like nothing happened. Thank God we found an open grocery store to get what we need for the kids! Moreover, for one day, they hadn't cleaned the pools and the alleys, so we paid for shelter, not for a vacation, even though the weather was better. At the end, they offered us a late checkout, though—by late, I mean just an hour later—not too empathetic of them. Other than that, all good: great beach, great pools.

The resort facilities are amazing. The pool is massive and the beachfront is absolutely gorgeous. The grass and lawns are so open and it feels really spacious and quiet. The apartment was perfect ground floor with a little paddling pool out front and great deck. Apartment was well laid out with all the kitchen equipment we needed for our month long stay. The maintenance guy was so lovely kept helping us with all our bike issues! The food at the restaurant was good too. Oh and the local little shop had a lot of necessities and the lady was lovely there as well.

The taxi fare - if we left from the property costs $300 pesos to go anywhere but if you walk a few minutes and then get a taxi it’s like $50 pesos. I found that extremely annoying especially as my son had a broken leg and it just made things way more challenging than they needed to be, especially because it’s just simply an unfair and unnecessary practice that can’t be justified.

The restaurant/bar on premises was good. There are couple of places in walking distance, but you have to go through quite poor district. The hotel is in "double" gated community. The beach was clean and the sea was nice. The swimming pool is a bit cold in January, especially compared to the sea. But it is nice to have options. There is a small playground for kids, two trampolines and few swings. We went in the middle of January and it wasn't crowded at all. I will probably come back here.

It was hard to get a hold of concierge. When I get there couple of times there was no one. I sent an email, but didn't get a response. So I had to find a COVID test site in the town. Some lights in our apartments were not properly working. Overall there was enough light, but just a bit strange. There were pans and pots, but no oil to fry eggs :( I bought one, but I don't need a full bottle of it. Hot tub was not working :(

Lovely property with multiple pools, tennis & padel courts, and a kid's trampoline/play area with a slide. The beach was clean with soft sand, and located just a couple minutes walk from the pool. The gated property has security 24/7 at the front gate, as well as during the day at the beach (staff also provide lounge chairs). Overall, an excellent experience and we will return later in the year. Next time we will have a car for the entire trip to be less reliant on taxis / private transfers.

You need a car to explore the local area or go to shops. The nearest supermarket is about 10-15 minutes away via taxi (and they charge approx $20 each way).
