This hotel is amazing!!! We spent our honeymoon here, it was 14 beautiful days what we never forget! The staff was sooo friendly and kind to us. ❤️ They were there if we had any issues. You can wake up with the birds singins (every morning we watch the sunrise and spent around 30 minutes in the balcony and just watching the birds ❤️) it has a daily room cleaning, the pool is also amazing! If we ever go back to PDC, 1000% that we will book this room again ❤️ also the 5th avenue shops and restaurants are in 10min walk, so everything was just perfect!! ❤️

We had 14 days here, so the ONLY thing what I could mention, there's not much choice in the breakfast, but if you are staying for the couple of days, it's gonna be ok :) (if you had a longer stay just like us, just try Bajo Café which is 5 min walk from the hotel! ❤️)

We loved it so much that we start our Mexico trip here and then decided to come back to finish our trip here. The breakfast was amazing and the beach is just across the street. The rooftop pool was small but super clean and the area to chill around the pool was amazing. Cielo y Mar will always be special for us because my fiancé proposed to me while we were there, in Playa del Carmen. We will come back for sure.

Nice quiet location, lovely staff, beautiful view, comfortable bed.

They advertise shuttle from the airport. However, they don't really run a shuttle. They will send a link to you with lists of shuttles you can call. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time since I listed when I signed up that I would need a shuttle. As it was, they didn't send me the link until the day of travel and by then it was too late. I ended up paying an exorbitant amount to a taxi from the airport. So, make sure you arrange your transport from the airport to Playa Del Carmen well ahead of time. That is the only way you can get discounts on transportation.

The rooms are very spacious, well equipped and clean. The higher rooms and the rooftop have a wonderful seaview. The rooftop offers a kitchen, a small pool and sunbeds to relax. The hotel is not directly at the beach, but only a small walk away and the closest beaches are all publicly accessible and free of charge, even with some sun-umbrellas for free. The breakfast buffet is rich and of good quality.

The reception is only occupied during certain hours, thus check-in is only possible during certain time periods. The accommodation is located a short walk away from the town center on the main road and the closest access to the beach is also a short walk away.

The area was generally quiet, except for the usual few neighborhood barking dogs, typical of Mexico and the Caribbean. The staff were super nice and helpful. The beds are firm and the airconditioners work well.The pool area on the roof was lovely, with comfortable lounge chairs and a small pool, chest deep and a nice temperature. Third and fourth floors have good views of the mangroves and ocean and the balcony is a lovely spot to spend time, watching the ocean. Bring binoculars. There are bikes to rent for 100 pesos and convenient to explore the area, with a bike path to nearby lovely beaches, and to the happening part of Avenida Cinco. A restaurant/cafe Crizol or Cristol is a few blocks away and i recommend it for light meals, coffee etc. Great place to eat with quality food and drinks, serving main courses only until about 5pm but open until 7. There is another small restaurant a few blocks the other direction (further from town) which is decent too, with burger options. A continental breakfast is offered at the hotel, included, with usual toast, cheese, fruit, cereal, coffee, yoghurt, but no eggs or ham etc.

Lack of clothes storage. There is a place to hang stuff, but no chest of drawers, just a shelf area.

We thought the location was great. It was a little bit outside the tourist center which we appreciated. We could walk to some nearby restaurants within about 20 minutes. The room was very clean and they even upgraded us to an ocean view because it was our honeymoon! We really appreciated that. They also left cute towel arrangements every day which was a super nice touch. The staff were warm and welcoming and very communicative with us about our arrival even though we got in late it was completely fine. They stayed to let us in.

I don't really have anything negative to say. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location close to the beach while not too far from the center especially if you go by bike (you can rent from the hotel or rent a city bike, there’s a station very close to the hotel) Beautiful room and view. The place has a bit of a hostel vibe with communal areas which is nice, including a rooftop pool.

The breakfast was a bit rudimentary, something I would expect from a hostel rather than a hotel.

Carla, Sergio, and the housekeeping staff were all fantastic. They made us feel very welcome. Carla gave us a ton of great recommendations to explore around the area. The rooms are super clean. The parking is secure. I felt safe and was able to get great rest. The views from the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. You can see so many trees, tropical birds, the sea, and even the Cozumel Lights at night. I love this place and hope to return. I wish I could live there! It was perfect! The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of many eateries and shops. I enjoyed that it was on a quieter, street with minimal traffic. The rooftop pool was also a great feature. We enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets from our room and also the rooftop/communal area. They even have bicycles available to rent.

Everything was wonderful. We stayed a total of 6 days and I've zero complaints whatsoever. I'll be returning as soon as I get a chance.

The place is in a quiet zone and about 15min by walk far from the busy area of the 5th avenue (full of bars, restaurants, stores...), which is perfect because you can enjoy the calm during your sleep. The public beach is also very nice, clean and wild. Beautiful view from the rooftop. Large bedroom with comfortable beds.

The bikes for rent could be offered by a cheaper price.

Great location, far enough from the noisy nightlife but still walking distance from the pedestrian area with various amenities. Playa 88 is only a few steps away. Clean and cozy room with comfortable bed. The room with sea view on the 4th floor offers a great panorama.

Terrible breakfast, with very limited options and quite low quality. Also, they had only 4-5 small tables that couldn’t accommodate all the hotel guests so that people ended up grabbing something and taking it away.
