A stunning location in the heart of Ruta de Cenotes. Why anyone would stay in Cancun, when this place is only a half hour from the airport, is beyond me. Amazing staff, incredible location and superior room experience. The owner, Melonie is on site to ensure everything is attended to, and that you have everything you need. Was given a better room than the one I booked, great wifi, hot water and AC in the room. Some people may find it too far out of the way, but if you need a true escape, and a sublime piece of nature, this is the place to check out.

I couldn't stay longer as I had pre-booked my next destination.

We arrived relatively late, directly from Cozumel, salty and tired. The owners were waiting for us with a delicious meal (perhaps the best we had in our week long stay) and they dried all our wet clothes from the beach as we needed to depart very early the next morning. It was a life saver. We only saw the hotel at night. It was stunningly beautiful yet marvelously simple: the way we like it. Dinner tables were hand made from local wood, every detail was lovingly set and attractive. To be clear: this is not a luxury hotel, but one that knows how to make you comfortable in good taste. We had three beds for a family of four (excellent) and the sheets were surprisingly dry for a damp region in the middle of the forest. The owners were extremely friendly. We chose the hotel for the proximity to the airport and slept there only a few hours. I regret not having spent more time, enjoy the pool and explore the area. We may come back. We wholeheartedly recommend this neck of the woods. We are spreading the word among our friends.

Didn't stay enough to detect anything wrong. We did not have breakfast because we left before dawn to catch a plane, but dinner the night before was simple and simply delicious.

Good hot breakfast included in the stay. Nice location in the jungle off the Route of the Cenotes with easy walks for bird watching and cenotes. Lounge chairs in sandy area near pool. We appreciated the upgraded room. We enjoyed having the farm animals (ducks, pig, chickens, turkey) though the turkey could be loud at times. The owner, Malonie, was very helpful in arranging transportation, excursions and providing additional kitchen equipment. Laundry service was appreciated.

Unfortunately the room didn't have hot water during our stay but we should have simply asked for it to be checked. We appreciated being able to order optional dinners though they were not extensive

This was the perfect property to stay at in the heart of the jungle on my last day in Mexico. The staff was amazing and not only greeted me when I arrived but also made dinner and saved it for me when I was later than expected returning in the evening. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated and I had a great balcony to do yoga on in the morning. All the meals I had with them were delicious and I highly recommend getting a massage with Mauricio if you have the time. You definitely feel like part of the family at Hokhmah and it's a beautiful place to rest and reset.

We were only able to do a quick stay, but the accommodations were beautiful and peaceful. We were in the "honeymoon suite" with a large bed, whirlpool, ac, smart tv, kitchenette, porch and large shower. We had spider monkeys for company as we ate dinner on site and again as we were leaving in the morning. Motmots, wood creepers and many other birds abundant in the area. Malonie was kind and helpful. We did not have time to visit them, but there were many cenotes in the vicinity and a lovely looking pool at the hotel.

An unexpected gem in the jungle! We were very welcomed and felt well cared for during our stay. Very comfortable bed and a wonderful place to explore for our young kid. Great beach design! Loved watching the animals. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I think we would have liked a little more privacy in the honeymoon suite- there was a group hanging and having fun with music and it felt very close to us! Breakfast was delicious and I would have paid more to have even a small piece of fruit.

Great staff, really solicitous and guest oriented. A special sort of place with a memorable vibe. If travel for you is about trying to connect with cool people, stay here.

Out of the way, so not great if you don’t have your own wheels, but this also means the client demographic is perhaps more discerning than those who might typically be encountered at all of the other largely charmless resort-ified properties in the region. Rooms are a bit rustic but it’s a work-in-progress.

The tropical forest ambience of the property exceeded expectations. Made-to-order breakfast is served at your table (not self-serve) and consists of authentic Mayan coffee with fresh-cooked items of choice (such as huevos or pancakes). Entire staff is wonderfully hospitable - starting with the property host Melanie right down to her cooking and cleaning folks.

Bathroom plumbing - shower and faucets in unit had poor water pressure

The posada is a beautiful haven in the middle of nature. The owner goes above and beyond to keep the area clean and manicured. It is in the middle of Selvatica where bugs, wild animals, and natural habitat are abundant so keep it in mind that is a lodge in the middle of a remote area. Yet, the place is very comfortable and it has many touches and details to make the stay a memorable one. We will definitely come back again

An error in regarding the date, of arrival, however the hotel staff was very kind to accommodate us for the actual night that we needed. The place was better than expected it was Very pleasant ☺️ in the middle of the natural jungle like,with all the amenities would love to go back again with more time to explore the area, simply amazing.
