It is a great place for families, beach is just 1 min walking, rooms are spacious and confortable and the staff is super friendly. We needed to leave before the breakfast time and they offered to prepared something for us the night before,very much appreciated. I would recommend 100% this place and we would come back for sure.

It was just a night to avoid staying in Cancun after landing and it’s a nice little place and nice town. The place is right off the beach which made for a great walk for sunrise. The room was clean and the mattress was good. The hammocks are nice to relax in.

I was eating breakfast and at the table next to me someone started smoking and the staff got them an ashtray. There should be no smoking allowed during breakfast.

We arrived late and realized that we got scammed at the airport and also had a problem with our rental car. The owner helped us a lot and even made phone calls to try to solve our problem. He took a lot of his time very nicely. He also advised us on safety recommendations in Mexico then. We got upgraded to a bigger room as it was available. Breakfast was really amazing and local. We should have stayed longer.

Relaxing shady garden with cool pool steps from the beach. Beach chairs and towels available to borrow. The service was exceptional. Renzo, Nico and Sra. Alvira were great. The breakfasts were excellent, plentiful and the main course never repeated in 10 days. We had the opportunity to see many of the rooms. They were all different but great.

We had cabaña 3 with a kitchen. It would of been nice if it were better equipped, however, they provided anything we asked for.

The penthouse suite/room was incredible, with a beautiful view of the beach, a thatched room with a peaked ceiling, and 2 balconies! The bathroom and shower were brand new and both were gorgeous. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated having a clean source of water, fridge, and a coffee maker in the room. It was so much more than I expected! The breakfast was also delicious, and the kids loved swinging on the hammocks. It was very convenient to the beach and felt safe as well.

The second room we rented, the ground floor cabana, was nice but did have a cleaning smell present at first. But we had plenty of room for our family with both rooms we reserved (one with a king bed and sofa bed and another with 2 queen beds). The rooms were close enough together that it didn't matter that they weren't directly next door--and in fact, we were just so happy to have the penthouse one that we probably could have all stayed up there! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a big room overlooking the beach. This was a total bonus as we didn't expect a sea view. The room was perfect for our family with a huge and comfy king bed and a single bed for my son in a separate area. We tried to extend our stay as we loved it so much but it was unfortunately booked out. The owner and staff were super helpful with any local info we needed and organised a great snorkelling trip for us. The breakfasts were amazing. Situated very close to the beach and many restaurants within walking distance

A tranquil tropical oasis right next to the beach with a warm & inviting atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. Emanuel & Nikko, the daily receptionists, were absolutely delightful. They were always helpful & eager to arrange any excursion we were interested in to ensure our stay was enjoyed to it's fullest. The breakfast in the morning was delicious & something we looked forward to. The snorkeling was phenomenal whether going right off the beach or taking a 5 minute boat ride to the National Park reef. This is definitely a gem of a place & somewhere you'll want to come back to.

This is a truly incredible place. It is welcoming, charming and beautiful. The tropical garden is such a lovely place to relax. We stayed in a cabana which was well equipped - I loved that they had thought of everything, we really value those little added extras. Communication with the team was great and everyone was so friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and clearly made with love, we looked forward to them everyday! . Right next to the beach and 5 minutes walk from the town, Hotel Amar is a special place not to be missed. We stayed for 3 nights but would love to have stayed longer.
