We had a wonderful stay at Dune Boutique Hotel! The free breakfast was incredible, with a variety of options like fresh daily juices, beautifully presented fruit and yogurt plates, traditional Mexican dishes, and made-to-order omelets. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect—peaceful and away from the busiest areas while still providing a serene beachfront experience with great music and stunning views. That said, there are a few things to note. The hotel is in a party zone, so some noise is expected at night—it’s part of the Tulum vibe, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Storage in the rooms was limited. With only two carry-ons, we still struggled to find enough space to open our luggage, and there weren’t enough hangers provided. Additionally, our room didn’t have a hairdryer, but we didn’t ask if one was available, so it’s worth checking with the staff. Overall, Dune Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a relaxing boutique experience with great food, a gorgeous beach, and welcoming staff. Just be prepared for the lively Tulum atmosphere!

What I loved about this property was how close it was too the beach and how private & aesthetically pleasing this was!!! As soon as I walk out of my room it’s amazing and sandy and the restaurant and beach was immediately close by. Behind the hotel you can walk all over Ramal Punta Allen Street & enjoy many beautiful restaurants & shopping! The hotel staff were amazing, friendly & kind and helpful. Breakfast every morning was fresh green or red juice & a platter of fruits and a savory dish!! We miss it. We tried the seafood grill it was amazing! The servers were amazing, Abraham, Franc, Hector, Silva were the best! The cocktails was amazing there, Gio was the best!

The bed was a little stiff, I am a side sleeper so was a bit sore fm shoulders but not too bad. Walking out of your room there is sand, and when you come in there a small pool of water for you to wash your feet, I wish they put a carpet on the patio to help dust off the sand off before entering the room.

The staff were exceptional. The front desk personnel were very helpful and it was easy to reach them on whatsapp with any questions. We had a rental car for which the hotel had a small space on the side. The security would help get the car out onto the main road for us whenever we needed it. We were able to walk to most of the restaurants we had booked. Beach clubs were also within walking distance. You can barely hear the bass from the music from surrounding beach clubs, we didn't find it bothersome at all.

The bed was very uncomfortable. My wife and I normally like firm mattresses but this was rock hard with awkward pillows and we would wake up with neck/body pains.

it is the most adorable detail oriented hotel situated right in the center of the viral restaurants and clubs on the main beach strip. the property has everything you will need for your stay including the pool, beach, restaurant, breakfast included, daily yoga and gym equipment. it was perfect.

I think we loved being at the beach and prioritized that for the purposes of our stay and would choose it again, but if you want to easily go to town or eat more authentic Mexican cuisine you are about 3 miles from there so you will need to taxi/drive or take bikes (which are free with your stay!)

The staff at Dune was AMAZING!!! They were so attentive, accommodating and just great people! The room we booked had a fantastic view, was very spacious, clean and overall fantastic. The included breakfast was delicious and nutritious with a variety of choices and made fresh on site! The fresh juices at the bar was so quenching and fantastic! The vibe and overall aesthetic of this hotel was great I would highly recommend staying for a quiet, romantic, high level of attention and service at this hotel! It is also located in the middle of the strip at Tulum, walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, clubs etc.

The only thing that was not amazing was even though the room was air conditioned, it never seemed to be cool enough (maybe because the ceilings were so high and the room was quite big) - the ceiling fan did help at night to sleep, but getting dressed and moving about the room would get hot at times!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They really want the extra mile to make it a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the daily morning yoga and use the small fitness equipment. It was a nice surprise to see dumbbells up to 15 pounds and kettle bells and some bands.

We stayed here for a Bachelorette's trip. The location is perfect, right on the beach within walking distance to many restaurants/beach club. Right across the street is a convenience store/pharmacy. The Concierge/Front Desk team was very accommodating and friendly. They helped to facilitate early check-in & booked restaurant and beach clubs for our group. Housekeeping went above and beyond to decorate the Bachelorette's room. Highly recommend to other travelers.

Staff was amazing and always instantly ready to help. Food was great, reusable water bottles were sustainable and location right at the beach the best. Also we used the bikes to tulum ruïnes which was a nice extra.

Hotel seems very new so few things were still missing I feel. No tv in our room, only 1 towel hanger, no door to the shower. (room 1)

The staff was very friendly! The front desk responds quickly over WhatsApp so any questions we had were answered quickly. Including easy room service! The food was good and the access to the beach was great. We enjoyed their beach setup - it was cute with plenty of shade and great service to keep the food/drinks coming. The hotel is close to a corner store so we picked up beer for our fairly big in room fridge. We enjoyed our plunge pool with a view in the afternoons.

Sorry to say because I know the hotel cannot control it, but you should know that the club noise is a real thing. It's not good and it went all night, at least until 3am! Earplugs don't really help because you can feel the thumping.
