The view from the property is truly stunning, and we were fortunate to have clear weather at the end of December to fully enjoy the beauty of the Annapurna mountain range. To celebrate our 12th anniversary, my husband and I chose this property, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The staff were warm, humble, and genuinely kind. They made our day even more memorable by decorating our room and arranging a beautiful candlelight setup. They surprised us with a cake and even sang for us, which added a personal touch to the celebration. Cutting the cake surrounded by the team felt like a heartfelt experience—almost like being at home, away from home. The manager, Mr. Kamal, was nice and shared fascinating insights about Fishtail, which we truly appreciated. The breakfast spread and overall food quality were excellent.

One suggestion would be to add some seating arrangements at the front of the property so guests can better enjoy the breathtaking mountain views.

Absolutely exceptional! In every way! Fabulous staff, fabulous food (huge breakfast buffet with a view) fabulous pool, fabulous service!! The large spotless room with a gorgeous bathroom had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. I was travelling with my mum and we had two rooms - they kindly put us in ones that interconnected if we chose to - which we did so it was like a suite. And oh my goodness THAT view! From your room!! Or the rooftop bar, or the pool. Just wow. A short walk to the world class cable car to take you down to Pokhara but why walk when they offer a complimentary drive to the cable car and even pick you up if you contact them (or in our case saw us walking back when they dropped off other people and promptly came back and picked us up). It’s also right next door (a 30 second walk) to the zip line which you HAVE to do! One of the BEST places I have ever stayed. Stay here instead of Pokhara, and catch the 9 minute beautiful cable car with an incredible view when you feel like going to town. You will LOVE it!

Beyond our expectations. The hotel is perched on the mountain top with spectacular views of the Annapurna Range overlooking the lakes of Pokhara below. The staff greeted us with drums and a local folk song and we felt so very welcome. The rooms were fabulous with everything you could wish for including wine, nuts and fruit which was refreshed every day. Everyone from management to all staff were a delight and extremely helpful when organising transport and everything else during our stay. The infinity pool on the roof and bar was a real highlight as were the views from both there and our wonderful balconies. Breakfast and the restaurant were amazing. The service is unsurpassed and I can honestly say this is the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in.

The rooftop terrace further elevated the experience, providing a panoramic view of the Himalayas and the lush valley below—a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. Luxury at Its Best Every corner of Sarangkot Mountain Lodge speaks of elegance and comfort. From the beautifully designed rooms to the stunning infinity pool that seems to merge with the surrounding landscape, the facilities are nothing short of exceptional. The pool area, in particular, stands out as a serene haven where you can relax while enjoying uninterrupted mountain views. Always Smiling Staff The hospitality at Sarangkot Mountain Lodge is second to none. The staff are incredibly warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. Their genuine smiles and readiness to assist made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. Culinary Delights The culinary experience was another highlight. I followed the chef’s recommendation and opted for Nepali cuisine, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and authentic, showcasing the best of local ingredients. The breakfast spread was equally impressive, offering a wide range of delicious options to start the day on a perfect note.

How we were welcomed: Sarangkot Mountain Lodge is as beautiful as the view it offers. We have been welcomed by the hotel staff and their manager with a traditional song, leading to sipping a saffron tea while checking in. How about the rooms: You don't need to worry about getting a view of the mountain ranges, for all rooms have it! And we are so grateful to have been upgraded 🥰. Just like the mountains, you'll never know when they will open up, but keep hoping. How about the staff: Nepal is well known for great hospitality, but they've delivered more than expected! I can't recall all your names, but they are all amazing! They made sure that we got all that we needed to make our experience extraordinary. Shoutout! Shoutout to Mr Kamal, the manager and his team! The hotel was stunning, the view was absolutely amazing. I have traveled in many countries (50+), have been in many luxury hotels but never ever have I experienced that level of honest hospitability! The staff members are all brialiants but Id like to express my gratitude to Bibek who is the most humble, kind, genuine and welcoming person I have communicated with! That boy is the gem of the hotel ❤️ thank you for making our stay memorable and unforgettable! NAMASTE 🙏🇳🇵

The room had a bit thin walls so that you could hear noise from the next room

Probably one of the best viewed hotel in Pokhara. you can view the whole Annapurna range in your room. Staffs were very friendly, even gave us a Nepali style welcoming ceremony. The ala carte dinner was very nice. The room was exceptionally good, comfortable with everything you need. They even provide complimentary fruits and wine. Spectacular. Good location, walking distance from Annapurna cable car. The famous zip line station is in the hotel range as well.

Breakfast could be a little disappointing. It tasted ok but I do expect a little more varieties for this kind of price. Shuttle from airport and bus station cost 40 USD. That's a little unreasonable for me.

Our stay at Sarangkot Mountain Lodge was simply magical! We had casually mentioned our recent wedding, and to our surprise, the staff went all out to celebrate us. They beautifully decorated our room and even prepared a special dinner setup complete with a celebratory cake while serenading us with a lovely song. Their friendly and attentive service was consistently outstanding throughout our stay. Compared to many hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara, this lodge topped them all with its spectacular views, great food, and heartfelt hospitality. An unforgettable experience—highly recommended for a truly special stay!

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed at. It was my partners birthday when we were there and the staff went above and beyond to make it special - thank you so much again! The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are comfortable, clean and the view from the balcony is amazing. The restaurant food is great and not expensive at all. The staff are so helpful and will do anything to make your time enjoyable. The rooftop pool is great and has great views. Thank you so much for our time there, will will definitely recommend and definitely come back.

The walls are quite thin in the bedrooms, so we could hear next door sometimes. Not so much an issue for the entire time but children are allowed at this hotel and sometimes we could not go to the pool area to relax as they would be splashing, shouting etc - it might be an idea to make this an adult only hotel or have a pool area for children. Sometimes the splashing would go over the side of the pool and wet guests who were dining below. Staff were aware of this and advised the children to stop but responsibility should be with parents. It did not spoil our time but we wished we could have had more quiet relaxing time at the pool.

Breathtaking views, amazing location! I loved the planning of the hotel with all guestrooms and facilities facing the mountains. The rooftop pool is exceptionally inviting, so is the restaurant. Add to it the warmth of the staff. It is a haven for those who love to socialize, offering a variety of games and cozy spots perfect for families and small groups.

While the rooms are comfortable with cozy balconies, I would love to see an upgrade in the room finishes. And a little tip for future guests: bringing your own toothpaste might be a wise move to feel completely at ease :-)
