We enjoyed the location. The peaceful park was a bonus. Beautiful heritage building. Rooms are so interestingly designed. Really fun. Staff were very attentive. Great transport options to get around from where the hotel is located.

WE loved it all.

The hotel is beautiful. It is a lovely building in Oosterpark. The breakfast was rich. Location is a little far from the downtown but there are many restaurants, bars and cafes nearby.

The room was a bit different than the photos shown in booking.com, the bed was shown upstairs in the living room furniture was shown downstairs in the photos but the furnitures were located the opposite which is ugly for me. Adittionally, it was a groundfloor corner room so, its view was ventilation grilles of the inner courtyard. The bathroom door in the room is not isolated. The hotel was lovely overall, but I did not like the room.

Everything was perfect and the service was very friendly and attentive. The comfort of the bed and pillows is particularly noteworthy. The distance to the center of Amsterdam is not a problem, it is a small city and you have a tram very close that takes you to the center.

Our room faced the park and there was a container nearby, and we could hear the loading and unloading truck at night and early in the morning. It was a bit annoying but it didn't last long. Everything in the bathroom was made for very tall people. I'm short and hanging up a towel or looking at myself in the magnifying mirror was an Olympic sport 😂

Perfection localisation, the environment is calm and cosy. Super kind, the team is more than available and is answering all the requests!! They are the best team ever. When we arrived, we got a room seen on scaffolding. We were sad about that and called reception, and they changed us of room. ( probably because we stayed 5 days) Whatever, it was just so kind. They gave us a beautiful room; each room was lovely, but the view was something else. The rooms are delightful after a long and freezing day in Amsterdam. Moreover, even if the breakfast is expensive, you must try it a little during your stay because it's perfect! Fresh and good food.

Maybe the room wasn't very clean when we arrived but nothing big!

Our two rooms were in first floor accessible by lift easily and adjacent to each other. Air conditioning with comfortable bed. Bathroom had walk in shower and the water pressure was excellent with hot water facility. Hotel had restaurants of its own and dinner is open till late. Kitchen closes at 10 pm and the bar is open until 1 am. Location was very nice - big park with beautiful view in front of the hotel - just under a minute walk. Tram to the city is within 3 minutes' walk and you can arrive in the city centre within 15 to 20 minutes depending on where you are going. Supermarket is 6 minutes' walk and open until 9 pm. We did not have breakfast in the hotel. Buffet breakfast is served everyday but NO a la cart, so we did not choose. But we had dinner every night and it was really good. Staff were excellent. I can definitely recommend this hotel and will book again in future.

Cannot think about anything regarding room and amenities. May be add a la cart breakfast next time so that we can choose what we want to have. Sometimes, we want to have a quick and easy breakfast and not have to pay for all the inclusions in the buffet breakfast.

The hotel faces onto Oosterpark, which is stunning. The rooms are modern and the beds are very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel and stay again. Good buffet breakfast. Slow service in the restaurant.

The only strange downside was that the first night we checked in at 10pm and were placed in a single level 'comfy' room with a small 1m window enclosed by construction, so no natural light came in in the morning and a builder was standing on scaffolding (see picture 1). It was not the 'comfy' room I had seen in the images when booking. The staff were more than happy to move us the following day to the 'comfy' double level room with a large window out to the park, as seen in photos when booking (see picture 2).

The location is excellent. A short walk or 2-3 metro stops to the centre of town and right next to a beautiful park. We had a large very comfortable room, with a good shower and lounge area; and, as it was my birthday, the hotel had decorated the room and left some chocolates and prosecco - very lovely. The restaurant was good and the atmosphere was cosy. There is a nice bar with fire for cold winter days and a terrace for summer evenings. The hotel does a good buffet breakfast including hot and cold options, with smoked salmon, meats, fresh rye bread and other choices. Dinner included lots of meat, fish and vegetarian options plus dairy free. We had pumpkin and mushroom soups followed by steak tartare and an artichoke burger respectively The service and welcome from the staff was very nice and we felt looked after. Upon check out there are huge suitcase sized lockers in a secure area, away from the hotel entrance, so you can leave your bags without worry or dependency on the front desk.

We liked the hotel very much and would stay here again. Therefore, areas for small improvement: - plug socket near mirror in bedroom for doing your hair :) - firmer mattresses (ours were at best a medium) - parking is very expensive at €50 for 24 hour, which should be highlighted on Booking.com as a key reason for booking the hotel was it had its own secure parking. One minute away, however, a local car park only charges €30 per 24 hours. It would be better to keep so many spaces for hotel guests at a reduced fee e.g. €30. We ended up moving our car to be economical but then lost the convenience of parking at our hotel... - it would be great if the hotel had a gym/sauna. It's a huge hotel and has space for this. It would just add that real touch of 4/5*.

Lovely restored building with an interesting history. We opted for a room upgrade to "Super Cozy" through a hotel email (cheaper than through booking.com) I am so glad we did because it seems the most basic room would have been quite cramped. We had a beautiful patio, as requested. The hotel restaurant/bar is also beautiful. We found the service too slow to rely on them for breakfast since we had to get going in the morning. Nice for an evening drink though.

We were unable to check in early, even though we made the request while booking and again at 10am when we arrived. Our room was ready about an hour after check in time (4pm). The check in staff offered some complimentary drinks and snacks as compensation, but considering all flights from the US are overnight, the hotel should consider offering early check in, even if for a fee.

Beautiful setting and just outside of city centre which I loved, but v easy to get in to central. Our daughter loved the proximity to the park and amazing playground and splash pool and thr restaurant was great. Throughly loved!

Would have preferred a double bed rather than pushed together singles, but that was it

Very nice hotel from inside and outside. Next to the beatifull park. With tram 1 close to city centre. Double floor rooms on first floor are really fantastic.

In hotel restaurant were almost all stuff super nice. But there was one person not nice at all. This was disturbing our beautifull stay. In hotel room there was bathroom with transparent glass, so other person in the room could see other person taking a shower or using a toilet. This was quite strange. Some rooms had not transparent glass and this was better. Some rooms on second floor have scaffolding in front of the windows.
