The property is located next to the zoo, so it means that it takes 20 mins to get to the city centre. Neighbourhoods is pretty quiet despite the windows were in front of the road. There was enough space in the room to feel comfortable to unpack and pack everything back. Also hosts provide a coffee capsules, tea etc. so if you want to get coffee in the morning to do need to worry about it.

Actually it was really good stay. I would say that the only thing which I notice it is really dark light. Illumination in the room is not so strong so you cannot recognise if anything is dirty. Also very bad illumination around bathroom mirror, really very had to do make up. And even to check your face do you mostly you see this bright circle mirroring in your eyes.

It is a pity I just had 1 night in this apartment! I had a business meeting before, in a hotel paid by the company, twice as expensive and with pretty small rooms. De Jonker is impressive: my room (number 17) was a real mini-apartment, very comfortable, with good lighting, temperature, very comfortable bed. There is a lift to go up with any suitcase. My winter jacket got soaking wet in the rain, and in the apartment I discovered that the floor in the bathroom is heated, so just spreaded the jacket on the floor overnight to dry it! There is a kettle, a coffee machine, and actually a whole kitchen!

I don't like when the only shower option is the "rain" from the ceiling, no manual attachment, so there is no way to shower without wetting my hair.

The room was excellent- spacious, modern, quiet and comfortable. The location was good and the staff helpful.

It's a shame that there was no storage facility available for bags.

We had a 2 bed apartment which was very spacious. Facing the back it was so peaceful and quiet, overlooking lovely gardens. The restaurants next door, kebabs, Chinese both fantastic food. Lots of others we didn’t get a chance to try. Huge Supermarket 10 minute walk, and city centre a very beautiful and scenic 15-20 minutes walk. Tram also outside the front door. Special thanks to the young man at the front desk (can’t remember his name, but great hair and a few tats😊), so helpful and friendly.

I would have loved hanging racks in each bedroom as the one in the passage wasn’t quite enough for both of us once my husband got to it first! Instructions on how to use the combination oven/microwave would have saved me a lot of time trying to reheat my leftover kebab 😆

Lovely spacious room. Big bed. Useful.kitchen area with fridge, sink and kettle. There was even a little hob and a microwave. Very clean bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. - handwash, shampoo and shower gel included. Everyone working at the property was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. QR code system worked well for entry. Location was ideal - nice quiwt area near the zoo. Cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Tram and bus stop just outside. We walked to and from the city centre a few times as it's not far. Lovely location. Handy for the centre but away from the noise.

We got room 11 - it has its own little patio - so we sat mornings and nights and chilled with tea or beer. Sylvester our concierge was nice and helpful. Further, having the bedroom on a separate lower level was great.

QR code entry is HORRIBLE. Didn't work at all at hotel entrance. took a while each time for the room entry too. They must change this for better experience esp. considering late and night, minimal lights. No place store bags when you come in ealry. Dont show up before 3 pm - not even 2.30 - they will not let you in. But staff was nice.

Great location - tram is right in front of the apartment. Entrance is with QR code which is very convenient and easy. We liked the size of our room and it was cleaned daily. Very friendly and helpfull staff at the reception.

Carpet was a little dirty and you can hear the air conditioning even when it's turned off. Also, the room was very dusty I'm guessing from that air conditioning system. But otherwise it was really great. We would come back again.

I loved the kitchen facilities which were very useful, the room was a good temperature with air con and and the bathroom was very clean and modern, room was comfortable and easy to access with a QR code.

The only criticism I have is that there was someone very angrily shouting at another person which woke me up around 3 am on the 2nd night of my stay - I don’t think the member of staff asked him to stop doing this, so maybe next time it would be great if staff could intervene, depending on the situation obviously! ☺️ It didn't ruin the stay at all though, and these things can’t be helped but just something to note

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, rooms were lovely and spacious, bed was huge and so comfortable! We had our own little kitchen with everything you’d need for a few nights stay. Location was perfect, just a short walk from the centre and also right near a tram line, so very easy to get to places! Supermarket and restaurants all within a very short walking distance. Would 100% recommend staying here and we would gladly stay here again :)

Shower was the only issue as it wasn’t very powerful but that’s just personal preference. Everything else was perfect!

The hotel is easy to find using the trams from Centraal, the transport links back into Centraal and many other local places were easy to navigate. We had contacted the hotel in advance to advise we would be arriving late at night, they were waiting us upon arrival. Although we didn't receive a QR code via email, staff were able to quickly rectify this and the QR code worked efficiently and without issue. The rooms are spacious, ours was set over two floors with a living area and patio doors upstairs and a sleeping area and bathroom downstairs. For the small amount of time we spend in the hotel, the internet was fast. Beds are comfortable, the area is quiet and no disturbances. Outside of the hotel there are lots of local bars and cafes, as well as a local shop selling snacks and drinks.
