About a 10 minute walk from Rembrandt square. About a 2 minute walk from a train station. This is one of those slinky-thin houses made into a hotel, but our 3-twin room was perfect for 3 people. Coffee station in the room was nice. Overall a great choice if all you need to do in your room is end the day. Great value.
It is right next door to a small pub which seems to be popular after dark. Leaving the window open means you may end up getting an earful of partygoers for hours, if your room is on that side.

A great alternative to the larger hotels, about a 5 minute walk from the main town but you are surrounded by the little shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly but it is essentially a converted town house - very steep staircase - ideal for a cheaper holiday away. Hotel is essentially unmanned during the evening but the communication with staff was quick and helpful when required. Rooms were not a bad size - nice enough for what you pay! Overall happy with the stay - lovely staff, they let us keep our bags in a room on check out day also & collected later on
Not really any negatives for the hotel! First time in Amsterdam… didn’t realise how big the place is!! Be prepared for lots of walking, small buildings, steep staircases - beautiful architecture and bring plenty of spending money! Most expensive place I have been, more than Dubai & Ibiza we found

Clean and cozy. The room is small - expected in Europe - but worked fine for the three of us! Heated floors in winter are such a nice perk. There was a skylight that let in light and could be opened to cool the room. Nice rain shower (bigger than most European hotels). I would definitely recommend!
People booking should know that staff is there limited hours. 9am to sometime in the evening. Just something to keep in mind if you have a late or early arriving flight (we got to the hotel around 8:30 but there's a lovely coffee shop two doors down so we hung out there for 30 min. The staff there is lovely too!).

The room had a ton of character, and was in a great location in the city center. We had the whole top floor, which was a perfect layout for us, with two separated but connecting rooms. The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. We liked our views of the rooftops. There were a lot of stairs, but we did not mind. There was a bit of street noise in the front bedroom, but we did not mind that either. The street is generally very pretty and quiet.
The bathroom lights are on a motion sensor and turn off while you take a shower. It would have been nice to leave our bags on our arrival in the city at 7:30am, but it worked out to wait in a cafe nearby until the staff could arrive to allow us to leave our bags.

Modern, clean, spacious. We were in room 1. Skylights were a welcome addition to the room and made it bright and aired. Very near to the centre of Amsterdam with lots of lovely cafes, bars and shops nearby. Secure on a night - main door locked, well lit in the streets.
Our room was right next to the reception but it was only used at certain times of the day. Other than that there was peace and quiet. There’s nothing else to fault about the hotel - we just wished we could’ve stayed longer here. But we will return!

The room was tastefully decorated and incredibly well located. The bed was comfortable too which was a great bonus. I've really enjoyed spending time in this area on previous trips and was glad to be able to explore it more.
There was an issue getting into the hotel. I arrived late and had not received the message from the host detailing what the key code was. This was frustrating, but the hotel were able to make arrangement to amend the issue.

Our 4th floor room was so charming. I felt like I was on a boat which is appropriate for Amsterdam! It worked well for our family of 4. The location was great. Lots of fantastic places to eat nearby and it was easy to get around. We walked a lot and also took the tram sometimes.
Be prepared for 4 flights of narrow stairs if you have this special top floor room (9)! But we embraced it and considered it a bit of extra exercise since we were enjoying local cuisine and stroopwafels.

The room was absolutely beautiful and even though I don't think we saw anyone from the hotel during our stay, they had provided lots of helpful info (transfers from airport etc) which were greatly appreciated!
Not that we had a massive issue, but the stairs were quite steep and more difficult to get down than up. However, we quite liked the stairs and the character of the hotel. When all said and done - it's part of the structure of the place! But if you aren't too steady on your feet or otherwise struggle getting up and down stairs - there were lower level rooms available so would perhaps suggest maybe requesting if one of those are available. Again, this wasn't a complaint - it's just a good to know if you are booking!

Good location down a quiet street. Nice staff who stored our bags on the day we checked out. 24 entry via a key fob. Good tea and coffee making facilities.
The description stated "three single beds" but in reality you got one single bed and a small double bed with a separating strip in the middle. As three friends unrelated adult sharing a triple room this had the potential to feel uncomfortable.

The bed was very comfy and I loved that the bathroom had floor heating, that was very nice whenever I came back into my room after spending time out in the cold. Also, worked magic for drying my wool gloves and hat quickly:-)
I'd advise travellers against bringing large heavy suitcases to this property (the stairs are very small and tight, you might struggle to manoeuvre)
