To all future guests, please do not look at other properties, this unit is the best and will make your expectations. I am a very picky person, and always look at 100's other properties. But this unit exceeded my expectations. Nothing bad I can say about it. Location is great. Unit is roomy and clean. Owners are nice, beds are comfy, near all attractions and metro station. If you came so far to look at this property, just click book it while it is available, otherwise you will miss this great apartment.

are you kidding me, we liked it all. No other properties compared to this one. You will love it.

Edwin was a charming host, cheerful and helpful. He met us at the door when we arrived in the morning, and helped us with our luggage up the stairs. When we returned to check in, he'd already put our luggage into our apartment. The apartment was everything we'd hoped for. Bright, roomy, clean, and well-equipped. The sofa bed was extremely comfortable. The view through the front windows across the canal was magic. And the location was great. On a quiet street, and with lots of coffee and dining options within an easy walk. We'd love to stay there again.

Excellent location, a short walk from the tram and underground metro and 2 stops to Centraal. Owner allowed us in an hour early and we were let in by Chelsea who lives very very close by. She explained everything to us and showed us around. The fridge had complimentary bottle of wine, a couple of beers and a couple of colas - nice touch! The cleaner came in mid week to change our towels etc whilst I was there. very nice lady. Toiletries, shower gel and shampoo included - i had carried my own just in case. Coffee pods were present though we finished them mid week - I bought more from the local dominant supermarket [Albert H] nearly next door to us.

Probably cleaning twice in the week would be nice Probably more coffee pods too!

The location was great and we could walk anywhere. The bed was really comfortable and the place was very clean. The couch bed was also quite comfortable. You had a canal view right out the front window. At night it was not too noisy and easy to sleep even with the windows open. We would definitely stay here again. A small grocery was right around the corner and the Metro/subway was very close to walk to.

Nothing was an issue.

Loads of space, lovely amenities, and welcoming owner/manager who was incredibly helpful. Allowing early bag drop was really appreciated as our flights arrived early, and check-in was around 3pm. The location was brilliant in a vibrant but quiet part of town. Fully recommend and would definitely consider staying again the next time we're over.

The stairs. Obviously, it couldn't be helped because of the age of the building, but be warned, they are steep and narrow! (This is noted in the description, we just hadn't appreciated quite how steep/narrow.)

The atmosphere of the apartment, location was excellant and great view. The host was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and sofa bed.

Stairs could be difficult with suitcases, small steep steps (which is part of the charm). Some could do with a bit of a clean in corners, only saw this due to a mosquito getting in and trying to catch it.

The location was very good - there is a tram line nearby with good access to the centre and to the south. Museumplein etc within walking distance and a handy selection of shops The apartment itself was well arranged, with typical amenities in the kitchenette. The furniture, linens, etc were of a good quality. Overall, the apartment was a good place to relax and unwind and act as a good base for our day.

There were some minor defects, such as a leaky tap. Temperature was hard to get control of, though we'd managed this by the end of the visit. We visited as a family with a friend joining us. The layout of one double room and a sofa bed in the living room was fine, and we had taken a blowup mattress for our son. But there wasn't a lot of space in the double room around the bed (we just about squeezed the mattress in awkwardly at the foot of the bed). This was not a major issue, but just noting it for other families in similar circumstances

This is a wonderful place for a family to stay. It has an amazing view of the canal where you will see hundreds of boats per day. The neighborhood is peaceful, calm, quiet, and not touristy at all. Very close to the metro and tram stops (1 block away/across the street). It is located very close to many of the top attractions in Amsterdam, including Museumplein, Albert Cuyp Market, Artis, Centrum, 9 Stratjes, etc (either walking distance or public transport). The apartment is updated, roomy, convenient, air conditioned, smart tv. Our family of four really felt at home here. When we weren't out and about enjoying the city, we were at home watching the city from the window. If you're looking for a party, I don't think this is the place for you, but if you have a family and want to immerse yourself in the city, and be conveniently located in a beautiful apartment, this is the place for you. Our flight got in early and management was very accommodating in letting us store our bags until check in. In fact, management was extremely accommodating in many ways, supplying free coffee and drinks, cleaning the apartment after the third day, managing the quiet hours in the building, providing recommendations and delightful candor. We would stay here again 100% without question. We LOVED Prinsenhuis and will be back. This property was a highlight of our stay. Delightful. Thank you Edwin!!!

Nothing could have been better, it was perfect. There is nothing bad to say, we loved every second of our stay. If you have mobility issues, there are steep stairs and no elevator, but that is not a negative, that is normal for every house in Amsterdam; I am only mentioning it for awareness.

Great location had everything we needed with a lovely view. Edwin was a communicative host and very helpful.

The only thing I didn't like were the stairs. Very steep and shallow. Smaller luggage is better. This is common in the old city thus being on any floor other than ground we would encounter the same. But if any trouble maneuvering stairs pick the buildings ground floor unit, the orange suite!

The apartment is located in the close proximity of museums and many nice cafes and restaurants. There is a small shop just around the corner. The apartment was on the ground floor, but was pretty quiet. The bedroom is connected to a small outdoor place. The bathroom is spacious and well equipped. Although we stayed only 3 days, the apartment was cleaned, and towels replaced after two days.

The apartment is a bit dark, but this is likely to be expected considering that is on the ground floor and we kept the curtains closed most of the time.
