Very very good location and personel very kined,perfect breakfast.

I was on the top 8th floor and in the morning I had to wait a long time for the lift. Was only coffee in the room, no tea (I don't drink coffee) and at the reception desk downstairs, the tea machine was only open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., in my opinion it should be open 24H.

The size of the bathroom was challenging for us. Plus, there is no privacy from the bedroom in the bathroom

The hotel’s location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the metro station, making it convenient to reach the airport via the central station. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive, providing precise and exceptional service.

If you’re accustomed to sleeping in complete darkness, you might find the toilet’s motion-sensor light problematic, especially as it could disturb the other person sleeping. Fortunately, I had read about this issue in other reviews before booking and brought an eye mask, which solved the problem perfectly. However, I would recommend that the hotel consider installing an on-off switch for the light, allowing guests to turn it off during the night if needed.

We stayed in of their apartments which is kind of separate but at the same time connected to hotel's building and are next door. spacious, clean and well equipped, two big screens, one in bedroom. we were in the first floor so no problem accessing our apartment and it's very well located giving you access to nightlife easily but at the same time it might be little noisy!

nothing special, stairs were very narrow but that's typical of Amsterdam I guess and had nothing to do with the hotel. also I could use better pillow, the one on the bed were big and not soft enough in my opinion.

room was proportionately sized. bathroom was slightly small but it was comfortable enough. bed was comfortable. good pillows. i was slightly bemused by the lack of a blanket/quilt on the bed with only the summertime sheets, but, after increasing the climate control, the sheets were just fine. room temperature was a little low when i arrived but the climate control worked well to warm the room up (traveled in nov/dec). the staff memeber who checked me in was extremely helpful and friendly (i wish i could remember his name), after a brief chat during check-in, he assured me that he could help with any issue or concerns, and he was true to his word. definately would recommend and stay again.

location was ok ,decent sizes, apartment was spacious ,rooms we’re adequate ,most things were within 10 mins walk ,bed was comfy clean and tidy ,we were a group of 9 having 2 doubles 1 apartment 1 3 bed

Stairs down to apartment was very steep maybe better for a more younger person, the double rooms and apartment were quite cold , the step leading into the bathroom and kitchen need a more prominent sign especially in the dark and didn’t rate the breakfast at all for the price £22 per person was a lot for what it was ,when we arrived at 9.30am there were no pastries , also no one explained what we had to without us asking you have to order hot food separately my husband had an omelette which was shrivelled and the toast was hot bread not actual toast much better restaurants cafes near by for better breakfast for your money

Staff at reception were very welcoming and friendly, especially to our three children, which was a relief for us parents! The rooms we were allocated were large and spacious, if a little dark. The beds were super comfy and the showers hot. Location is excellent for exploring the city on foot. It's right next to the flower market and Rembrandtplein. And only a short walk from Rijksmuseum.

A mirror in the bedroom might be a good idea, especially in a family room where more than one person might be getting ready at the same time. The rooms are quite dark but I think this is the aesthetic that they're going for.

The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and welcoming. The welcome drink was much appreciated. The comfortable sofas were perfect. We were given a really lovely quiet room at the back of Hotel and the bed was a great size.

The bathroom light is on a sensor which meant that it wakes up the other person in the room when you open the door at night. Strip lights hidden in the walls have a very high pitch whistle / frequency which is quite pervasive, but of course, is no problem once the lights are out. The pillows were very puffy which was not to our taste. One puffy and one thin pillow each would’ve provided the perfect solution for us.

The staff at Albus Amsterdam truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming, attentive, and always eager to help with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made our experience even more enjoyable. The studio was spacious, beautifully designed, and exceeded all our expectations in terms of comfort and amenities. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, and we highly recommend Albus Amsterdam for anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay with outstanding service.

The Albus is ideally located close to rembrand Square, our favourite part of town. Its also within walking for Metro stops. The staff are particularly attentive. They definitely have a caring ethos towards their guests. We didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food. The room was moderate, but the bed is big. The bathrooms have walk-in showers(tip make them cold showers whilst in Amsterdam, the body will thank you for it). We requested a balcony, which was a nice touch, especially stepping out with a coffee on a fresh Amsterdam morning. I would return to the Albus with no question and would not hesitate to recommend a friend.

There's a bit of renovation going on at the moment, so the lobby is pretty much a site.
